CLOSED. The sign in the window says a new salon is coming, from the owners of Il Camelion (I really didn’t like that salon). The hunt for a salon resumes.

I’ve been to this salon twice now for my nails and I am extremely happy with how my nails look. On my first visit Yuliya did both my gel manicure and regular pedicure. She took extra care to make sure they looked perfect. This wasn’t a quick rushed service like some other salons. She was very helpful in helping me pick out the color I wanted since I like both nails to match exactly. And she’s super friendly and easy to chat with. My nails looked great for 3 weeks — at other salons I normally get 2 weeks out of the same service.
On the next visit I had Anya do my regular pedicure and Yuliya do my gel manicure. Again, I received the same great treatment from both women. They make you feel special. I definitely will be returning.
I want to add that the salon is clean which is very important to me especially when dealing with nails. This is a great find!

Absolutely love this place. I am a manicure/​pedicure snob, so I definitely appreciate the care and cleanliness at this place. Yuliya really takes the time and puts a lot of effort. I get complimented on my nails all the time. Additionally, the staff is friendly. They alway greet you with a smile. I come back here week after week. Highly recommended!

When I first purchased the Brazilian wax groupon I had decided to skim through the reviews. Despite seeing 1 negative, I decided to give it a try since the majority always win… right? YES! A few months ago my husband, 5 month old and I came here to give that groupon a try. And although this isn’t kid friendly, they were more then inviting and accommodating to our new baby! Frank, straight to the point, warm and inviting group of people professionally serviced us not too many salons sincerely do well in. Refreshments were asked upon arrival, as we settled into this neat elegantly decorative shop. Julia, one of the owners, shared with me not too many are knowledgeable on waxing my type of hair (curly and thick). First wax, and it hasn’t been the last! My husband was of course the most excited.
I’ve been coming back now for a few months for eyebrow waxing (because of Julia being a perfectionist, my symmetry is always on point!), have tried the shellac manicure and regular pedicure. Never have I ever been beyond satisfied at not only their genuine kindness they extend, but at their services they take great pride in.
Be sure to set an appointment ahead of time, for during this season they are surely booked!
One thing is for certain, they have received another loyal customer out of me.

Rude owner! Never answers the phone! Guess the place is not well managed if they can’t even answer phone calls… They definitely lost my business! Good luck making an appointment at this place!

Absolutely love and will continue to be a repeat customer. After reading the reviews I decided to purchase a Groupon to test it out. Went in for a Brazilian, the owner did it. The place is incredibly clean, smelt amazing and well put together. It feels like an extension to being at home. You can certainly tell the owner takes pride in her establishment. The owner is meticulous in what she’s doing and her conversations makes you forget you’re getting hairs ripped off your skin.
She used the correct size Brazilian strips and didn’t miss-​pull. That’s important to me, because I’ve had bad experiences with this in the past.
When she was finished I was very pleased — every hair, everywhere (and I mean everywhere) was gone.
Pricing for their services is listed on their website, and regular priced $ 40 for a Brazilian is not bad.
Heading back for a mani/​pedi and given the reviews, I’m sure I wouldn’t be disappointed.
This is now my go-​to spa and I’ve recommended it to all of my friends in Brklyn who are also searching for a go-​to spot to call their own.

I bought a groupon for a facial & massage at this venue, which I used this morning. I am 8 weeks post baby and my skin has changed a lot. But today I was treated to the most relaxing massage and cleansing facial I have had in a long time. Nina is fabulous & I would def be going back again.

Came in for a Groupon mani pedi deal and was pleasantly surprised. Laya is incredible and gives a real european mani pedi. She took her time and gave me the best service. I will definitely we coming back!

Sage at Deja Vu is a genius, and I don’t use this word lightly. I’ve been going to her for years, when she was at another salon, and now at Deja Vu. She’s the only one I trust with my curls. I give her a general idea of what I want and then she works her magic. The first time I got my hair cut with Sage my husband said, «don’t ever let anyone else cut your hair,» and I don’t. Seriously, if you have curly hair, go check her out. She’s sweet and funny, but most of all, she’s a master of the curl! I adore her!

Went for the first time today thanks to a Groupon. I will definitely be back. Elizabeth did my shellac manicure. Not only was she very nice, but also very precise with my nails. My nails looked great, and that was before the polish. Definitely the best manicure I’ve had in a very long time.

Sage is 100% artist. She’s the answer for all the curly girls who seek for a professional unique hair cut. Sage was able to view my vision and make it the way I wanted. She loaded me with so much information of how to uplift my hair style and it’s health. It was the most useful 80 $ I spent for a hair cut.

So, I just had my curls taken care of by SAGE. I’ve never had a haircut quite like this before. Like a Jedi Knight for curly hair, Sage is wise in the ways of the curls! I can’t rave enough about it! My hair has never been happier! Best $ 80 I ever spent!
As it turns out, they do a whole bunch of stuff at this salon, color, cut, mani/​pedi, massage, facials, waxing (you know I’m going back for the waxing).
tl;dr — If you have curly hair, go see Sage!

Attention curly girls– Sage is a curly hair master! I used to go to her at Devachan and when I heard she left, I was so disappointed. Thankfully, after some sleuthing, I tracked her down at Deja Vu. It’s rare finding someone who understands curly hair like Sage does. She always knows what to do to help my curls and it’s consistently nice to see her.
The salon is lovely and the owners of Deja Vu are so kind and friendly. They immediately make you feel at home. Can’t recommend Sage and Deja Vu enough!

I went here on a whim groupon purchase to get my nails done for my birthday. I finally found someone to do my gel manicures with OCD! Laya is a dream! She is fun to talk to and has a great personality, but more importantly, my gel manicure lasted 3 weeks. I’ve had so many bad gel experiences where the polish chips oddly around the edges or peels. Laya takes her time to make sure you are walking away with a mani to last. Needless to say, I’m back.

I love love loooooove this spa! The level of professionalism is exceptional and the staff was friendly and made me feel at home. The newly renovated space is cozy and beautiful.
I got a shellac Mani and a pedi and it was a little slice of heaven! My feet felt brand new and my nails were perfect.
To be completely honest I felt like a princess and at the same time like I have known the staff for years.
This is definitely a place you need to check out.

I purchased the $ 39.00 Brazilian and full leg wax from groupon. I was excited and couldn’t wait to have the services rendered to me. I arrived a few minutes and I was very apologetic. The lady (maybe the receptionist, maybe the owner not quite sure who she was) was very rude and sarcastic about my tardiness and refused to render the service stating that I was late and she had to attend to other clients (the place was empty, one client was getting here hair done). There was a man in the store and they both kept making facial gestures, they couldn’t wait for me to leave to talk about the encounter! Build up your clientele before you turn people away! Remember regardless of social media, word of mouth is and will always be the best way to market your business. You never know who it is that walked through your doors! Apparently my money wasn’t good enough to make an exception.

Laya the owner did a fantastic job and was in her words «OCD «I thought her process! Clearly this was to my advantage because I came out the best between wax I’ve had in a very very long time. I will definiteky be back for future waxes!

I first visited this salon on Groupon for a mani+pedi package. I expected a quick in-​and-​out deal, so I scheduled a 6:30pm appointment knowing the salon closed at 7 (on Wednesdays). However 2+ hours later, I was still there, chatting it up with Laya as she gave me one of the best mani-pedi’s I’ve ever had! I felt very bad about keeping the salon open so much longer than closing time, but Laya and her husband were very kind and told me not to mention it. If you’re in a rush, this probably isn’t the place to go, as the salon prides itself on an exceptional service which can’t be delivered hastily. But, if you have some time to kill and be pampered for a reasonable price, this is the place to go.

LOVE this place. Went as a walk-​in to get a Brazilian. The owner was the only one there (usually there are about 5 girls working) so he closed the whole place down just to do my wax!
She was funny and professional and knows exactly what she’s doing, and never once made me feel uncomfortable. I had been going to EWC for the past two years and they would break the hairs and leave ingrowns but she fixed all that!
The space is so cute and clean and the pricings are great. This is my new regular spot.
