Shepp Pest Control is a family business that was started in 1968. We provide pest control solutions for all pests, insects and rodents. We specialize in bed bugs, cockroaches, ants and fruit flies. We service Chicago, the Northshore, Northwest suburbs, Southwest Suburbs, West Suburbs, Des Plaines, Palatine, Park Ridge, Schaumburg, Arlington heights, Barrington, Winnetka, Glencoe, Glenview, Lake Zurich, Northbrook, Niles, River Forest & many more cities in the Chicagoland area. We will travel as far north as Gurnee; as for south as Orland Park; and as far west as Hampshire.

Shepp Pest Control is a family business that was started in 1968 by Len Siepka. His son, Mark Siepka joined the company in 1983 and currently acts as the customer service manager. Shepp Pest control is a member of the GCPMA and is a certificed pest control applicator by the Illinois Health Department. We have 45 year experience servicing residents, small businesses, churches, corporations, restaurants & management companies/​condos.

Mark is courteous, responsive, knowledgable and fun. He eliminated the ant problem at my home in Wauconda. We had two kinds of ants, little tiny ones and big carpenter ants. I recommend Shepp Pest Control.

Bed bugs are the worst. THE WORST. What’s worse than realizing you have bed bugs? The preparation that goes into getting rid of them.
So imagine my horror when my landlord had cancelled my appointment a day before without any warning to me. Turns out she had just gone to Shepp instead and I was able to keep my original appointment – woohoo!
It turns out I had a very good situation because nothing had spread beyond my bedroom. My technician was John and he was very helpful. We gave me a run down of the process and helped put my bed back together after he treated everything.
Happy to report I live in a bed bug-​free apartment now.

Shepp Pest Control is the best little company you’ve never heard of. They’ve been in the business for over 40 years and know what they’re doing. John came by last month and gave our house a thorough treatment for our carpenter ant problem. What was most helpful was his ‘what happens next’ explanation. In the next 2 – 3 weeks we saw increased ant activity. Not a pleasant sight, but it meant that the treatment was working. Now, a month later, the nasty ants are gone. Thank you, John and Shepp Pest Control, for a job well done!

My backyard had become the nesting grounds for Cicada Killer Wasps. Probably one of the most intimidating bugs I have ever seen. Imagine relaxing in your backyard after a hard day’s work when this pterodactyl like creature comes swooping down towards your head! I called Shepp and they came out immediately to take care of the issue. After a week or so I still saw a few flying around– Shepp returned to finish the rest of them off! They were fast, courteous, polite, and extremely easy to deal with. I believe I initially called them late Sunday evening and left a message, which was returned in a matter of hours! On a Sunday! You will not get service like that from Anderson or Orkin… Don’t waste your time and just call Shepp Pest Control first… Thanks again Mark!

I am very happy with Mark and Shepp Pest Control. I need to have my home (which is lakefront property) sprayed twice a year. Mark is prompt and very efficient. He uses natural products for spraying at my house so it is not harmful to my pets. I also had a problem with carpenter bees over the years and Mark has specifically swung by to address those pesty critters that drill holes in my cedar siding. I would recommend Shepp Pest Control to anyone.
