I have been renting from Judy Heitmann for over 2 years and my fiancé has been renting from her for over 9. I don’t really understand the previous reviewer giving 1 star as she even states how nice she was… and I agree. My fiancé has never had anything but great experience and I can say the same in the 2 years I have lived in her building. Very fair rent, any issues are resolved nearly immediately (not exaggerating), snow is always removed same day, and she is always accommodating. The property management company is GEPO Property Management, I believe off hand. If I was to ever move and it was in an area they have properties, I would certainly look at their locations first.

Finding a good landlord is just as hard as finding a good apartment. Thankfully, we’ve found both. We just resigned our lease for another year and one of the main reasons is Judy Heitmann and her staff.
The place /​neighborhood /​rent /​etc… is great but the real reason we resigned was because we didn’t want to take a chance with a new landlord. Judy has always been quick to fix any problems that arise and is always a pleasure when we meet in person.

I’ve had an awful experience with a Realtor here, her name is Judy Piekarz-​Heitmann. I have been a tenant of Judy’s for nearly a year and at first she is very nice & accommodating. I’ve been a good tenant: paying rent on time, keeping the place squeaky clean. So 2 months before my lease ended, I told her that I was interested in renewing the lease. That day, Judy Heitmann told me I had 2 weeks to decide whether I will be staying. Fast forward 2 days, she gave the apartment to other people, without the decency of even calling me beforehand to let me know or to ask if I’ve changed my mind since 2 days ago. I sat at work that day trying to reason with this lady, but she kept saying it was too late and I have no choice but to leave. If a was a bad tenant, I would partially understand this cruel treatment, but this is completely unacceptable on every level. She was probably offered more money by the other tenants, or felt that they would be longer-​term candidates. Either way, it is extremely shady of her to go back on her word like that. In addition, she made it very confusing whether she wanted me out by Sept 1^st or Oct 1^st so I went to look for apartments and signed a lease for Sept 1^st 2010 to be on the safe side. Now she is telling me that I still have to pay rent for Sept. because of her mess-​up. It has been absolute hell dealing with Judy.
This review is by no means a reflection on the other agents at this location, but I wanted to give fair warning about Judy Piekarz-​Heitmann. Please be wary when you rent/​buy from her.
