Park Mammoth Resort is a 2,000 acre golf, shooting sports resort and winery featuring a 100 guest room hotel, Lookout Restaurant (with the best view in the region), Cave Valley Golf Club, Rockcastle Shooting Center, and Cave Valley Winery and Vineyard.

We adjoin Mammoth Cave National Park and are just seven minutes from the visitors center. We are located 1.5 miles off of I-​65 at exit 48.

The rustic resort was built in the 60’s was purchased by the Noble brothers in late 2009 and has quickly become one of the première shooting sports destinations in the country. In 2011 the Noble’s founded the Cave Valley Winery and recently planted a two acre vineyard, changing a historically dry county forever.

The resort features the Lookout Restaurant with arguably one of the best views in the state. Chef Bob Benson recently launched a new menu that captures Kentucky in both taste and style.

History

Established in 1964.

The Noble Brother’s, Nick and Nate, purchased Park Mammoth Resort in late 2009 becoming the third owners of the 2,000 acre resort. For 46 years the resort’s primary business was golf. The Noble Brother’s introduced a world class shooting destination to the resort and winery to compliment the golf business. Located in the Lakes, Caves and Corvettes region of central Kentucky, the resort is known for it’s scenic views overlooking the Mammoth Cave Sink Hole Basin. Guest can enjoy delicious food created by chef Bob Benson, take golf lessons from PGA Professional Blake Jones, or world class firearms instruction from many of the country’s greatest firearms experts including Rockcastle Shooting Center manager Zach Guerrettez. The resort has become known for hosting everything from corporate outings, family reunions, weddings, to major international shooting competitions.

Business Owner

Nick and Nate Noble were born in Durango, Colorado and grew up with a passion for the outdoors. Collectively, they served «corporate America» for over thirty year’s as sales and marketing executives. In 2007 they founded The Fortress Group, Inc. (which owns and operates the resort) in order to develop a business that would utilize their vast experience in business, leverage their passions, and create a quality of life that can’t be found in corporate America. The Noble’s thrive on creating experiences for their guests that make them feel like they are staying at one of the brother’s homes. Park Mammoth Resort thrives on delivering top notch Southern Hospitality in a rustic, casual atmosphere that is the «anti corporate cookie cutter» resort.
