Davanza’s

Ever since my move to Park City, UT last fall I have been trying to locate a good pizza place. I don’t want to say that other pizza places around town aren’t good, but I will say they did not give me the same experience as my large veggie pizza I picked up from Davanza’s the other night.
After a relaxing sunset drive through Guardsman Pass, my husband and I got quite the hankering for a pizza. I had heard from a few gals at work that Davanza’s is the best place around here to get pizza from. So when I got service on my smart phone we parked the car and I looked them up. I did not catch the man’s name on the phone but his greeting was concise and to the point. A lot of other pizza places around town give me this run around garbage about their specials and what not — I’m a 63 year old woman I don’t have time for this. Anyway I put in my order for the large veggie pizza, the total came to $ 21 and some odd cents. Not a bad price for quality I thought. The man on the phone said my order would be ready in 18 minutes. It was at that moment that Davanza’s had won me over as a loyal customer. Most pizza places would lie to me and say 15 or 20 minutes. Lets be real, nothing is ever done in a perfect 15 or 20 minutes. Davanza’s I know was telling the truth because they have their timing dialed to a precise 18 minutes. I showed up to pick up my pizza which was ready at almost to the second — 18 minutes. I sat with the pizza on my lap as my husband drove us back to the condo. The heat of the pizza on my lap combined with the odors put me into a state of frenzy. With the patience and will power a Shaolin Monk I waited until we got inside to consume this masterpiece of culinary art.
I sat down, dusted the pizza with the parmesan side that was included. Pulled off two slices on my plate, said my prayers, and began to eat. The first bite I took changed my whole outlook on the Park City pizza scene. This pizza is so superior to any other pizza in Park City it is hard for me to call the others a pizza place. The flavor gave me such powerful emotional surges of joy and happiness it made me rethink my whole life. Nothing has ever given me such pleasure. My husband and I had been kind of hitting a rough patch in our marriage lately and we have both been questioning if it was still real. I haven’t felt as happy as this pizza had made me in the last 6 years of our marriage. I was scared to share these thoughts and feelings with my husband before we were done eating the pizza. Each bite hit my taste buds like a land mine of flavor. After the pizza I told him how I felt. That over the last several years he has failed to make me as happy as my large veggie pizza from Davanza’s had made me. We both cried and talked for hours, which we have not done in forever.
After all of this emotional breakdown and heartfelt conversation over an empty Davanza’s pizza box we decided to give our marriage another shot. I think that the enhanced state of euphoria the large veggie pizza put us both in allowed us to share with each other what we had been hiding deep down for years. Overall Davanza’s is a business that other businesses aspire to be. As far as their product, well lets just say that their pizza single handedly saved our marriage, as well as other parts of our life as a couple (wink, wink). 5 stars Davanza’s, I look forward to the next pizza we get from you!

I can never eat regular pizza again! This place was fantastic! Cool unique atmosphere and great food is a rare find. My husband actually raved about their burger at first bite. We will be back.

Great little random find! We were looking to do some shopping in Park City and were surprised at how pricey everything was!
Found this little place while checking out High West Saloon’s menu, and decided to take a look see. Worth it! It really depends on what you’re in the mood for but if you’re looking for something casual, something easy, this is the place to go. The interior is really unique, pretty cool, there are plenty of pics and descriptions on that. Food!
Onion rings: Perfectly fried! Onions were well cooked, sweet and tender, the batter on the outside was perfectly fried, golden, not greasy. The spicy thousand island sauce (?) was a great condiment to go with it.
Buffalo Chicken Sandwich: Chicken chunks, buffalo sauce, toasted bun, and comes with ranch if you want it. Huge sandwich, only downside is that it doesn’t come with anything.
Chicken Parmesan Sandwich: Small chicken chunks with marinara sauce and loads of mozz cheese on a toasted bun. Also a huge sandwich but left me wanting for something more flavorful — it needed more sauce.
All in all, the onion rings were to fantastic and everything else was good. They have a TV and the space is kind of small, but a great place for groups of friends since it’s so casual and laid back. Seems like most people order pizza here and we didn’t see much else — the pizza looked pretty good too! Thin crust, but generous with the toppings and super fresh.

Yummy street tacos, definitely add cheese! People are friendly and décor is unique. Prices are good.

Ordered take out on a whim and found a treasure. Excellent pizza at a great value. Highly recommend.

Great pizza and they deliver which is always a plus after a long day skiing

My family really enjoyed the pizza and salad. Delivery was speedy especially considering it was a peak time. They delivered to my hotel room.

GREAT service, quality food and reasonable prices. The staff and atmosphere are hard to beat in Park City.

Best pizza in town!!! Duff and Sarah in the front were fantastic! Perfect place to go after a day of skiing on Main Street.

Three guys ordered a large pizza and a meatball Parmesan sandwich. It was perfect. Thin crust pizza was great. Not greasy at all. Meatball sandwich was awesome. Fun local place with little seating. Service was excellent. We will be back.

Delicious pizza. Quick, friendly service. Cheap prices. Order at counter and may have to wait for a table to open up.
House salads were ok. Pizza was great, thin crust. We tried crumpled sausage, red onion, and jalapeño, as well as the supreme. Bud light tap tasted like water (more than usual), but other beers were a good variety and tasty.

We travel a lot and are always looking for laid back local joints — this place fits the bill!

Good pizza. Thin crust great flavor. Ordered 5 different kinds, all good, double burger (he said it was tasty– and big), and side (dinner) salads– note dinner salad will feed 2+ as a side.

I heard that this was the place that served the tainted pizza to the 1998 championship Chicago Bulls when they played the Jazz in the finals. The media at the time said it was the flu that hampered MJ, but it turned out to be some kids that worked here, that were Jazz fanatics. They knew the Bulls were staying at the only hotel in town back then, so anybody that wasn’t from there and having it delivered to the hotel, they knew had to be tied to the team.
The kids got fired, but the NBA had investigators look deeply into this while the media and the rest of the world outside of Park City had no clue what was going on.
If this is the wrong restaurant, I apologize to the owner.

We visited this place during Sundance, so it was pretty crowded, but considering how hungry we were we just couldn’t wait any longer for any of the Main St. restaurants.
At a first glance the place is so uniquely decorated with all the beer cans and the vibe is almost like a dive bar. I ordered some chicken tacos and my friend got a veggie burger. The food wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either, just a normal meal and nothing special considering it IS Park City.
On the plus side, the staff is pretty friendly and accommodating.
Overall I don’t think I will come out of my way to have a meal here again but if you’re hungry and need a quick option it isn’t a bad one

We went here during Christmas week, so one of the busiest times of year for Park City. It was pretty crowded and seating is first come first serve, but the staff did a great job of managing the situation and getting everyone seated.
We had the pizza which had a great thin crust. The service was friendly and we had no problem getting another beer.
The crowds seemed to come and go here. Everyone would come in at once and the line would be very long, but then it would calm down. I really liked the beer wall and the ms pacman table

This place is definitely a locals favorite joint! I come here often and will always come back!
The food is great! I’ve had the tacos, salads, and pizzas obviously.
The vibe of this place is brilliant and easily accessible. The décor is awesome and the feeling is definitely very chill. It is located right off of main street so that is a big bonus too!
Everyone needs to try this place if they’re feeling a kickback, casual meal.

Super cute restaurant in Park City. Loved all the beer cans on the walls. Food was pretty good to. I ordered the Margherita pizza and mozzarella sticks, both tasted great. Service was excellent as well. The place was packed when I was there, and saw a lot of large groups trying to come in and struggled to find seating. Probably not the best place for large groups.

Park city has a ton of dining but it’s all expensive and high end. Davanza’s is one of the few choices of simple, casual, cheap and good.
Ive ever eaten at Davanza’s but have done takeout on a couple occasions. The atmosphere is fine, nothing fancy, but a cool local vibe. I had food issues. I must be gluten free and the menu does have something for most. My friends adore the Diablo burger, I’m a fan of the fish tacos.
You can easily get out for less than $ 20 a person without booze so a huge bargain for park city dining.
