Wow just wow. Right now since its there slow season it’s buy one and get one free. Even if it wasn’t I would pay full price. I had the cowboy steak with mashed potatoes and wild mushrooms. The steak was perfect size and cut of meat. The mushrooms were amazing as were the mashed potatoes with garlic. Just awesome meal, the best I’ve had in Park City. My wife had the filet mignon and was very pleased, kids had chicken fried and prime rib, those were juicy and everyone ate everything. For appetizers we had the steak at the top can’t remember the name which you out on baked bread. I loved the appetizer. The ceviche was kind of bland and could use some more cilantro but was served in a nice martini glass. Everyone loves their meal and our waiter Kevin, has a great personality, kept our drinks full and is really good at service. We will be back!

Absolutely delicious restaurant and the best meal we had in Park city. We had the scallops and the New York strip. Great flavor in the scallops and the steak was cooked perfectly. Well worth the price!

No complaints. Picked the restaurant and got a great surprise of 2 for 1 entrees. Food was great and fast. We would come back!

Great service. Great food. Two entrees for the price of one. Best happy hour. No complaints and food cooked to perfection. Personally one of the best finds for the money in park city.

I am not normally a big fan of steak restaurants because of too dim of lighting and over priced food. But Butchers had 2 for 1 entrees which took almost $ 100 off our bill. The lighting was very dim which always makes eating a little more challenging, I ate a Wasabi filed tomato without knowing. I was pleasantly suprised with my ahi tuna meal, i know why get fish at a steak house. The ahi tuna was perfectly cooked or uncooked if you prefer. I also had a chance to try the filet of Oscar which was delicious, as well as cheese filed dates and their loaded potato chips, they were all delicious. *the only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because of the dim lighting, food was very good*

Food was good, no complaints really. Wasn’t the best steak I’ve had in PC, but wasn’t the worst either. The wait staff and assistants are very attentive and friendly. We were never without drinks. Dishes were bussed promptly, and we were constantly checked on.

The atmosphere was typical steakhouse style and tastefully done. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was good and prepared as promised. We visited on a Sunday evening during prime dinning hours and were told they were out of baked potatoes. Not a game breaker but seems like a basic operational issue to not run out of potatoes at a steakhouse. Anyway if you are looking for a steak it’s worth consideration.

Just an average steak… Was in Park City for a conference and was taken here for dinner. Its right in the heart of Main Street which is an awesome area and very fun to walk around. We ordered some appetizers(fried green beans, tuna, calamari) which were all good. The steak was a little over cooked and the sides were nothing to rave about for how much our waiter recommended them(bacon brussels sprouts and jalapeño mac and cheese). The restaurant has a very nice ambiance and being that it’s in a ski town its very casual which is great. The food just doesn’t live up to the hype and the location.

I don’t know if I was just extremely hungry or what but this was a DAMN good burger! The fries were not too bad on the side. My friend also got the Buffalo dip and chips and that was pretty well flavored too. The environment is a pretty good one, and the night we went it was pretty crowded with a nice friendly crowd. My friends all got lots of rounds of shots and drinks at the bar and they were all pretty pleased with the bartenders and their service. Overall, it is a solid find in Park City with not a bad burger.

We were in Park City over a holiday weekend. We didn’t make reservations(big mistake) and walked into Butcher’s looking for a table for 7. Corina was accommodating and set us up with a table in the bar. Our steaks were awesome and loved that each came with two sides. Corina offered superb service — bringing out a bread basket when our meal was running a bit behind. Corina was awesome and friendly — bonus for this restaurant. Overall we had a great meal.

Great place for dinner or a cocktail! The location off Main St makes it a bit more desirable if you are trying to dodge crowds.

My friend and I stopped here for lunch with my 2-year old son. It has a warm, inviting atmosphere which was welcome on the frigid day. We sat in a cozy booth in the bar with a view of the slopes and lift. The food was just ok, but we ordered salads so probably not the best indicator. My son loved his pizza and they also gave us wiki sticks– so great for kids! Bonus star for the wonderful service.

Do yourself a favor and just dish out them dollars for the Cowboy. It’s a their 18oz ribeye with 2 sides. I got the jalapeño mac and cheese, note that the slices of jalapeño were pretty hot but the cheese cooled you down a bit. That and a beer. To attempt to counteract my fatty meal, I paired my mac and cheese and steak with sautéed spinach. And if you do the same, you will feel proud that you got your greens in, believe me, the food is absolutely luscious! My boyfriend and his friend got the pork chop with 2 sides. And boy were they disappointed when they got a bite of my steak(because I’m nice enough to share). But honestly, it was a tasty chop. Yes, it’s one chop, but a good thick slice. Mine plate was better though! The calamari appetizer was classic, crunchy, crispy, a hint of sweetness, with a wonderful dipping sauce. The chips and buffalo chicken blue cheese dip was not worth it. Tip: ask what the specials are as they might not be so forthcoming when they come to take your order. Today’s special was a buffalo steak and the soup of the day was carrot ginger.

Pretty good but I’ve had better for the price. Went to Butchers for my birthday dinner. I splurged and got the Filet Oscar, my favorite. It was good but not out of this world. I’ve had better Filet Oscar at other Steak Houses in Utah. My friend had the Seafood Linguini. Combined with both of our meals and two glasses of wine no appetizers was $ 110 before tip The service was good and the food was good I just think the prices are a little high. The prices are true to Park City but for that kind of money I can think of a few places I would rather go. Had their prices been a little lower to make it more appealing and not competing with other places I like better, I would probably return. However, if you are in town just visiting and are having a hard time getting reservations elsewhere, you can’t go wrong with the food at Butchers

You can’t beat two for 1 entrees! Figured we could splurge a bit because of their special going on to buy one entrée and get one of equal or lesser value free! My wife ordered the king crab and I got the cowboy bone-in ribeye. Can’t complain at all! Very sweet waitress and great atmosphere. Was surprised there was no one there, but that meant we had the place all to ourselves, so works for me! Got out of there with a pretty nice little dinner that didn’t break the bank. If you can get the 2 for 1, make this place happen!

Before reading, please be mindful of the fact that this review only pertains to the main dining room portion of Butcher’s, and not the bar. My sole interaction with the bar was coming in through the bar from the street since we had no idea you can get here from the total opposite end of the building. As well as ordering Fin du Monde beers from the bartender who was wise to stock such an awesome beer. If you’re looking for a review of the bar and all the benefits said bar has to offer, you will not find them in this review. But if you are looking for a review of the main restaurant and why it is far worthier than its current average score of 3.5 stars would indicate, you have come to the right place. Literally(Butcher’s) and figuratively(this review, if I may be so egocentric). When we walked into Butcher’s, the gal behind the bar sensed we were(correctly) confused and pointed us in the direction of the main dining room. Once we hopped up a few steps, I walked up to the desk and confirmed our reservation(thank you, Opentable). It was a Monday night, and the place was pretty packed, with everyone from a massive dinner party to some couples on dates, while all of us seemed gathered with the same goal in mind: staying warm through good food and drink. Jacqui came over to introduce herself and she took exceptional care of us during our visit. Ditto the food runners, the bussers and everyone else under the roof who was on Butcher’s payroll. Staff here take care of each and every guest, and they do not even need night vision goggles to do so.(It got really, really dark at one point in the dining room, and I’m relieved to report no one ran into one another navigating the aisles of booths and chairs. In fact, the dining room was warm and inviting when you could see it.) Because I do not know the meaning of the word«moderation,» I started off with a lobster bourbon appetizer, a dish that somehow combined two of my favorite words in the English language. It lived up to that impossible combo of naming delight, and the entrees followed a similar pattern, save for one kind of odd distinction: the side dishes were the best things on the menu here. Now don’t get me wrong, everything we ate was absolutely delicious, with the baked halibut, filet Oscar and the regular filet being totally satisfying. But that coconut rice was euphoric. Cheesy broccoli? Worthy of scaling a nearby mountain to shout its praises once atop the highest peak. And the jalapeño mac and cheese was, blasphemous as this will be to admit, the absolute best I have had anywhere in the world. There is a steakhouse in Texas that is going to wonder if I am sick the next time I dine there since I can no longer get jalapeño mac and cheese that did not come from Butcher’s. It seriously is that outstanding a side, and well worth the accolades my fellow Unilocalers have bestowed upon it. If Butcher’s does personal mailings, I might request some of this stuff UPS-ed to me overnight. Desserts were just as fulfilling, with the chimichanga being the perfect finish to the meal, and the bread pudding somehow being oddly«light.» Yeah, the desserts are probably lethally dangerous to eat after such a selection of cuisine but you can afford to live dangerously, right? When the food coma sets in, you will probably pass out with a smile on your face and a feeling of utter satisfaction in your stomach. We all loved Butcher’s, and will definitely come back the next time we are in town. We may even come through the correct door this time. Hopefully if you have read this far into the review, you are also willing to give them a(nother) chance. You should.

I’m sorry to have to give one star to this place. I’ve been coming to Park City for 20 years and have eaten here numerous times. Yesterday was awful. First let me say the wait staff was excellent but the kitchen staff should be let go for incompetence. We ate early at 4:15 to avoid the rush and ordered the chicken fried chicken. The mashed potatoes that came with the chicken was cold. I sent it back and 10 minutes later back came my chicken dinner. The potatoes were now warm and so was the chicken. The vegetables were now only warm. I could go on but won’t as I’m sure you’ve gotten the gist. During our hour there was a hamburger problem that went back to the kitchen an an order that didn’t come out until the rest of the table were nearly finished with their meals. That’s 3 errors at 3 different tables in the first hour of business. The manager and waitress did apologize and compt our dessert. So they tried. I do hope someone else will review this place and give it higher marks but right now it’s in need of a complete new kitchen staff. The Food Man

Came with a group of 16 and everyone’s meal was very good! I enjoyed the Ahi Tuna and definitely recommend that for tuna lovers! The appetizers were great and came out very fast. The location was in a great place and had a really good vibe being right off of main street. Our service was awesome and very friendly. I definitely recommend everyone tries Butchers.

Excellent service with a touch of humor by «Charles»? Summer dining offers 2 for 1 — so it’s a good time to go. A group of 6 and the bill with 3 appetizers was $ 140.(No beverages were ordered.) Wine corkage is extra. Terrible tap water(unfiltered and nasty tasting) was brought to the table.(One should not drink the water in downtown PC anyway due to mine tailing run off in the water supply.) The flat iron steak was quite good, however, was a bit salty. Waiter stated that it is «buttery salted» and offered to remove salt. Real mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli were good. I’d dine again — with the 2⁄1.

Love coming to this place after getting off the mountain to have drinks and snacks! Disclaimer — I have never actually eaten dinner here and have only had apps. This is one of our favorite places to come after a long day on the mountain. The green bean tempura is amazing! The sauce it comes with has a nice little bite that compliments the green beans. If you’re a fan of ahi — the tuna poke is killer! If you don’t like fish, stay far away. The calamari is also really good. It is less breaded than your typically calamari and done in cornmeal which is a great twist. Also, the servers in the bar area have always been awesome. They’re quick to refill your water or grab you another drink. We’ve always been well taken care of when we’ve come. Can’t wait to be back for another after skiing snack!
