Their iced coffee is amazing! It’s better than Starbucks(I haven’t had their hot coffee yet). The food and drinks are always so fresh, there’s never a long wait and the atmosphere is great. The prices aren’t that bad either. I highly recommend this place if you’re a coffee lover in the area!

I came into the store for Matcha tea, at the location in the Garden State Mall, located in Paramus, NJ. My first experience was fine, however, this one was utterly shocking and offensive. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I proceeded to the register and ordered a Matcha Green Tea latte, which your company praises themselves over. The man taking my order was immediately unprofessional. As soon as I said the drink I wanted, he turned away from me, and laughed at his colleague. They kept laughing about it and he mumbles something like«I know, that’s a stupid one. Just throw powder in a cup and add ice». Both employees appeared to not know what they were doing. Instead of the other employee making my drink, she started to laugh again and just ran to the back room. I’m standing there waiting, as he runs after her laughing, and told her to just make the drink. I walked over to the counter where you pick up drinks, and I saw her spill my entire cup of matcha and ice. I caught a glimpse of her collecting the ice that had fallen onto the table, and tried to recycle some. As soon as she saw me, she stated to laugh again with her«friend» of a colleague, and then decided to throw the ice away. When I received my drink, it was unlike any I have previously ordered. It was HEAVILY sweetened, even after I asked the man at the register specifically if it was unsweetened, he said yes. I did not receive ANY apologies, not a single condolence for the wait or the immature behavior. I will never return to this location, or your franchise ever again. You should be ashamed to have people like this working for you.

Good Coffee and hot chocolate. The Barista is a really nice guy, friendly and attentive. I’ve been here twice. Not busy at all, so no long lines waiting to pay for overpriced normal average coffee from the Seattle monopoly!

Didn’t enjoy my 2 visits here. Most recently I went in for waffles(they don’t have any, if you want the short version). They have an electronic menu, I assumed it was updated more frequently and easily than a printed panel menu. It listed Belgium waffles, but when I asked about them, the cashier laughed at me and asked another employee if they have waffles. An employee who I assume was more experienced came over to tell me, «We actually haven’t had those on the menu for a very long time now.» I pointed at it on the menu, but neither employee acknowledged it was there. I ordered an iced tea instead, wasn’t asked what size until they started making it. I accept the large and went over to get a straw. I noticed there was a DJ and strobe lights in the seating section(I just thought the music was loud, didn’t notice the DJ until I went over for a straw). Seating was empty, I was alone and the music was loud, so rather than feel like I was stood up at a night club, I took my iced tea outside. I didn’t enjoy the iced tea very much, but it could be a matter of preference. It was too strong, in my opinion.

So today I got the mocha blended, and I have to say(drumroll please), I really enjoyed it! At first it has this tasty coffee like taste, but then once you drink a few sips, it has a delicious chocolatey/creamy taste to it, which really thrilled my taste buds! The one thing I have to say though, is that the blended drink is very similar to the mocha frappuccino from Starbucks, which I don’t know exactly how I feel about that…

Love this coffee bean! Their coffee is delicious, this location is the closest to my house and the service is good. Sometimes they have samples of pastries and/or teas! Definitely a fan! :)

I am sorry to say, but this is not up to California Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf standards. And I was so excited to see Coffee Bean take over the old Starbucks space in Garden State Plaza… I used to hang out at this mall(and even work at l’Occitane one holiday to pay for a plane ticket). Corporate needs to train the staff more thoroughly… Took forever to get a hazelnut latte because a barista was struggling with a near empty bottle of hazelnut syrup. Pumping it forever and looking at the manager with puppy eyes will not help!!! Also no cherries for the Blackforest latte. And the bathroom was :(closed. C’mon, guys… You can do so much better than this.

Good coffee, well organized. I think they can give a run for Starbuck’s money. Staff is friendly and works hard to meet your expectations. I wouldn’t mind a little more selections but how much coffee can one drink in one trip? I will return if I return to the mall next time.

Pretty good establishment. I loved getting Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in LA and was pumped when they opened this up in GSP. It’s way better than the Starbucks that was previously in this location.

Why is this place empty all the time? Blended ice coffee reminds me back to my LA days. Did not like the pastries. Beautiful store though — love the wood. But empty. Nice tea selection.
