I came in wearing shabby workout clothes, so that’s probably why nobody tried to entertain né. Was gonna buy a bag but when I went in, everyone was busy. I tried to approach one salesperson but he acted like he didn’t see me. Yes, he was entertaining other customers but a simple greeting would’ve sufficed! Everyone was chatting with customers and I wanted to see a bag but nobody even said Hello or any greeting, no eye contact, Nothing. Like I never existed. Took my business to Neiman Marcus instead and got a Balenciaga!
Louis Vuitton bags are really nice but some of the people they hire need to be taught on how to be nice to customers! Go to another LV store.

First off, everyone’s rude. Everyone’s «busy». No one wants to help…& then when you finally do get help, they get the order wrong. All I asked for by the associate named Cavanaugh was large initials personalized on a phone case. What did I get?-Small initials personalized on the phone case. #YouHadONEjob! #smh

Went in today to buy a wallet. Walked in and showed a picture to a sales associate asking if the wallet was in stock, after doing so a security guard attacked me to take my coffee away because it wasn’t allowed to be drank in the store… meanwhile the store gives customers water or champagne. After being handed the wallet I was directly taken to the cash register, wasn’t even given time to examine the wallet and see if I actually wanted to purchase it. I asked to see if I could see the other print it came in and the worker acted like I was being an inconvenience. Shailyn helped me finishing my transaction and my questions were answered in rude and not very helpful answers. I will definitely not be returning to this store, terrible customer service even for New Jersey.

I walked in with my husband to show him the bag I really want for our anniversary. Wasn’t expecting to buy right on the spot since our anniversary isn’t until a couple months from now. After finally having to walk up to the SA whom by the way had a sour face from the get go. I asked him to show us the Neverfull GM and he went to grab it. While looking at the bag the SA seemed so uninterested and every time we would ask him a question he would give us one word answers and would not even look our way! My husband was so upset about the treatment he was giving us he said lets go well go to a different LV boutique. These associates seem to forget that it is their job and they can’t act like they are better than others. After all we are purchasing from them not the other way around. Definitely will be taking a trip to short hills mall even if it’s a little out of my way but I rather be treated with respect.

Sucks that everyone else had a bad experience. I had a great one! Walked in after work one day. I wore no makeup, hair up, jeans, timbs a zip up hoodie and was holding a Michael kors bag. Said hello to the security guy. Walk around a little and Lauren found me. I told her the bags I wanted to check out, even told her I wasn’t buying that day but wanted to pick one to tell my husband, and she gladly showed me each bag. We discussed my best options, she gave me her card and wrote down the one I picked and I left. I came back to buy it like two minutes later cause my husband probably wouldn’t go into the mall and I wanted to make sure Lauren got the commission on it. She wasn’t there but a woman greeted me and told me she would get her. Lauren came right out and in ten minutes I was getting walked out of the store with a new bag. Honestly, I looked like I didn’t belong there but I never felt that way. The staff was very nice.
When you go — ask for Lauren. She is patient, not snooty and very nice.

I have to say that I was skeptical about shopping here after reading a good portion of the previous posts and happy to say that my experience was pleasant.
It was very busy in the evening when I went and was able to get the attention of a sales lady, she was very nice, I had an idea of the item I wanted to purchase and she was helpful in helping me make the final determination as to what I eventually purchased.
However, a slight downside to my shopping experience here was that, she was also helping other shoppers at the same time and found that to be a bit annoying, not her fault, I believe there was just too many shoppers at the time and not enough sales people on the floor to assist.
All in all, a good experience.

Horrible sales staff, bad attitude, don’t recommend this place at all. Give your business to Riverside square mall. The sales manager needs to re evaluate sales staff.

I brought a 7 year old LV bag in to be repaired and was dressed casually, but neatly, on a hot summer day (the strap was broken). While the individual clerk was very sweet, it was the store’s treatment/​policy, not her which I reviewed below:
I was told the canvas was «dry» (though at purchase I’d never been given instructions on how to keep it hydrated) and they would not repair it. I thought LV stood by their $ 1000+ handbags. Sorely disappointed in this store and the company.

Excellent service in store. It was a breeze to exchange my shoes for the right size three weeks after buying them (i tried them on in store and still got the wrong size). The manager was very helpful and nice over the phone. Best LV store ever been to. No tax on shoes and belts. what can beat that? lol

Rude rude and rude very unprofessional people work at this store. LV has officially lost a client who spends thousands in their stores. I would think they hire people with more knowledge about the product and train them about the clients that come and out of those doors. Unfortunately LV is not the high end brand it use to be years ago.

Completely agree with the other reviewers here about the downright obnoxious staff; had a couple of isolated unprofessional experiences at this store, and all of them reflected so poorly on the brand that I was turned off entirely.
Sales assistants here need to remember that they around standing on the OTHER side of the counter, facing the people who aren’t working at Louis because they can actually afford their products without having to take a hefty employee discount off the price.

Just like Summer wrote below I’m giving this store a 1 because there is no «0». DO NOT GO HERE. I got a the LV speedy as a Christmas gift and decided to get it hotstamped with my initials after they sales associate highly recommended it.
I took it to GSP to get it got stamped, it turned out great and I was very happy with it (even though the sales associate was eating a twizzler when she brought it out to me, and got a piece of her twister on my bag. And I had to wait almost 45 min after the original time she told me) but anyway after 3 months and 5 uses my hotstamped started wearing off! Chunks of the lettering missing! I was so shocked and took it back to the store.
The rude Asian lady with long hair shrugged her shoulder and said «sorry there’s nothing we can do.» She was so unsympathetic I told her I barely used this bag and she was like «I don’t know what to tell you, I’ve never seen this happen.» I asked for her manager she said, «he’s in the back on a conference call you can come back in a ½ hour if you really want to talk to him but we can’t fix that.» I was SO upset I walked out and will never set foot in that store again.
Also BEWARE: not only are the 2 sales associates I dealt with extremely unprofessional they do not know their product!
I took this bag to LV at Short hills and they were much more helpful and knowledgeable. The manager told me unfortunately this does happen to hot stamps, although it shouldn’t (when the woman in GSP said she had NEVER seen this before). They had their technician re-​do this, I am not happy with how it came out but they said this was the best I could do and I could have the piece replaced if I wanted to for $ 70 which I do not want to pay but am thinking about it.
As I was leaving the store I folded up my bag as the
Associate in GSP showed me. (She said it’s great to fold up when I’m not using or if I’m traveling. I was skeptical asking «won’t this bend the bag??» She said «no it’s canvas it always goes back into place!») Another associate in short hills saw me do this (not even the one that was originally helping me) and said «don’t fold your bag like that! It will cause creases and eventually crack!» I was «WHAT?! That’s what the woman in GSP showed me.»
Bottom line: DO NOT go to this store in GSP. They are extremely rude and unknowledgeable. These people made me never want to purchase from LV. I would expect excellent customer for such an expensive brand and this was a huge disappointment.

After reading about other Unilocaler’s experiences, my wife and I were cautious as we entered this store. Security fellow and I exchanged hellos. A gentleman working there also said hi as well. Good sign.
We browsed some sunglasses; e.g. the attitude pilote and decided it didn’t look good on my big noggin (not to mention the crazy price tag.) We then looked and laughed at some of the shoes that only Kanye West types would wear LOL IMO.
Then we came around to what we were actually looking for: the pallas chain. If I was a girl, I would wear that. My wife first saw it in the NYC flagship store and loved it. We went to reach for it and an SA by the name of Rayssa kindly helped us because those bags were security string locked. She was pleasant. We never gave the impression we were buying and she kindly showed us another bag or two (both of which she needed to unlock from the security string.)
We did end up buying the pallas chain and felt that the service we received were both similarly good before and after we said we were buying it. I guess it depends on who you run into.

I should have written this review a few years ago when this happened, but better late than never. I walked into the LV at Garden State Plaza for the first time (I usually shop at Riverside Square Mall LV – much nicer and professional Sales Associates at that location) looking to purchase the Galliera GM. I had the unfortunate luck of being «helped» by the little korean/​japanese woman that other reviewers on here have also complained about. She had a very uppity attitude and treated me as if I were lost and didn’t belong in the store. I am embarrassed to even admit that I have LV/​Chanel bags worth more than her annual salary.
I told her that I wanted to purchase the Galliera GM. She stopped in her tracks and looked confused like she didn’t understand what I just said. Then I repeated myself a few more times and then she responded, «Oh! You mean the ‘Gaaaaaahhhhhhliera.» She spent many a seconds emphasizing the «gaaaaaaahhhh» part in an attempt to show me that I pronounced it the unfrench and therefore, wrong way. I responded, «Whatever.»
You are there to serve me, the client/​customer. I am there to spend my money (about $ 2000). Don’t treat me like you are doing me a favor. There are PLENTY of LV boutiques with pleasant sales associates who are happy to help. It is a shame that with the advent of social media and internet marketing, LV hasn’t heeded the reviews/​complaints of their customers and pulled that little ratched woman from the sales floor and put her on bathroom duties because her attitude is just plain sh*tty.
I walked right out of that store and then headed to my home-​base LV at Riverside Square mall where I purchased my Galliera GM as I planned.
I have not set foot into the GSP LV since that incident several years ago until this past weekend. Partly because I was tired of the rude customer service and partly because I was over LV and buying Chanel. I digress. I was hoping that woman would have been fired or disappeared by now but unfortunately for me, she’s still there and very much alive. I did have the pleasure of working with a new SA who is a sweet girl from upstate NY. She was super helpful and I’d be glad to give her my business again. I hope they don’t transform her into their nasty mini me.
All that said, avoid the GSP LV at all costs. If you go, make sure to get help from the lovely young lady who is fairly new there.

I have purchased many bags for my wife and family here. I cant speak for the rest of the sales reps but Shakira whom is like my personal rep every time I go there is the best you can ask for. Very friendly and courteous thats why she is the busiest there all the time. so if your looking to buy anything ask for her.

I am writing a review not based on anything other than for future shoppers. There really shoud not be stars associated with this store. If you walk into this store, like I did yesterday you are looking to buy Louis Vuitton products. I bought a bag for my sister and wallet for myself. I found both of them basically myself since the guy helping us was actually not helping us but showing us the items we asked for.
Do I want to hang with the staff after hours? No. Are some extremely snotty? Yes. Do I love their bags and products? Yes.
I always try to find a guy to help because somehow the women are always snottier. Our guy was flippant but not rude– looked almost bored. He definitely should have helped guide our purchases but I guess the staff can basically walk around like zombies and people know what they want and purchase it. Once again not there for the employees!
Positive note– guy checking us out was great. I put my empty water bottle on the counter and asked the girl to please throw it out. Got a roll of her eyes to me but the guy checking out graciously took it.

Asian lady there is the biggest b*tch. I tried to exchange my bag and she was so unpleasant while she tried to say I destroyed my bag in front of everyone. Her manager is another asshole who was smirking the whole time as if he was proud of her. It was disgusting. I never wore my bag once. Never going to this Louis Vuitton again.

Let me preface this by saying, I worked like a total animal in the days leading up to Christmas (12 hour days, two weeks straight), so when I was finally on vacation, I had to get right into some last minute Christmas shopping. I have been wanting an LV neverfull gm for a long time and I was going to treat myself for the holiday. I was tired, and dressed for comfort. I am the type of shopper who is patient, and willing to spend. I work with children and have a lot of patience, so long lines do not usually deter me. Even the parking lot at the mall that night was a total nightmare, but I soldiered on.
I walk into the LV store and take a walk around, browsing and wanting to get excited, but I was totally turned off by the snobby, rude staff and the customers. In a nut shell, trashy people who mistake class with arrogance. I waited at the counter for a while while a girl helped this guy pick out a bag for his lady, and then this other guy walks in and gets waited on before me. So obnoxious. He was picking out a bag for his girlfriend and kept saying things like, «She already has that one…». Ugh. Eye roll. So finally some other girl waits on me and it’s like, what? You can’t smile when you work at LV? No humor or fun in your job? I was wearing a down parka and sweat pants and I felt like a beverly hillbilly or something, and was treated as such. I remember when Oprah wasn’t allowed into Hermes in Paris, and she was wearing sweats at the time. People, get over yourselves! Life is too short. I had a wallet full of cash, and I felt like reenacting that scene from Pretty Woman when Julia Roberts gets treated like crap at the boutique. «Do you work on commission? Well you just made a big mistake. HUGE.» So annoying. I picked out my bag and had a bad feeling the entire time. Oh and while i had been waiting to be helped, a young guy and his friends came in and tried to fight a security guard. It made me laugh to myself, because these aholes are all walking around the store like they are royalty, and then these kids come in and make a scene… it felt like an LV kiosk at the state fair. Everyone at the GSP LV store needs to remind themselves that they are still in a mall. A MALL, people. I can walk ten feet and get a Wetzel’s pretzel for Christ’s sake.
I ended up walking out without the bag. I couldn’t stand it, even for someone who interacts with toddlers all day this was too much. I will visit the Riverside Square location in the future, and hope they are more personable there.

Upon entering, the staff was very courteous and welcoming, all of whom made an effort to offer assistance and advice. With an exception of one staff hiccup… note: never address anyone shopping in Louis Vuitton with a «Yo!» … never. Let’s just say, I was on to the next sales associate.
When deciding on the sickest pair of sunglasses, the woman with the short hair and glasses was extremely helpful, approachable, and hilarious, felt like I was home :) She even gave me a free bottle of water at the checkout.

Louie V has been in the Plaza for years and I’m the first to review it? Perhaps the rich do not have a soft spot for Unilocal?Too bad.
The store focuses on purses and shoes. Purses for women and shoes for both sexes. I was hoping to find a pair of dress shoes to pair with a newly purchased tuxedo. Unfortunately, Louis Vuitton does not carry shoes with wide widths. I tried driving shoes and loafers and had no luck. I have a high arch so finding quality shoes are a challenge for me.
It’s a shame though, because they carry so many beautiful pairs for men. I felt bad for the associate helping me, he knew I was motivated to buy; too bad nothing fit.
I’ll have to stick with Boss for now…
