JC was amazing! He was very polite and arrived in a timely manner on a Saturday of all days. He fixed a dry wall problem and he did a great job. Very clean and was friendly. Would highly recommend his service and we will be using him again.

JC just finished hanging blinds today in my bedroom, livingroom, and bathroom, and he also hung a picture in my livingroom, and agreed to come back and do some other work that I needed done. He was on time, very professional, kind, and honest. The cost for his service was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend him and I will definitely be using his service from here on out.

Unilocal, DO NOT remove my review or place my review in the «Reviews that are not Recommended» Section. This review is honestly based on my experience in hiring this «handyman». I am legit, and have been a Unilocal member for almost 10 years. I also own a business and am on the other end of Unilocal reviews as well. If you place my reviews in the other section or remove my reviews, I will be canceling my Unilocal account and steering my network of people away from using Unilocal.I know what I know, and its honest.
Move along, move along… This is not the handyman you are looking for. Stay far away from this guy. In a word, DISHONEST. In another word, Unreliable. I could not recommend hiring JC Handyman for any of your handyman needs. I hired JC to install a wall bed in one of my bedrooms. He quoted me a price over the phone before arriving, so I agreed to hire him. Once he got here and looked at the job, he raised his price quote. Then, after reading through the manual, he raised his quote once again. Then, after an hour or so, he told me that he could not finish the job that day and that he would need to come back with an additional person the following morning to help assemble and install the wall bed. The next morning, I get a text from JC stating that he could not complete the job because he has «shoulder pain» and «maybe next time, Boss». Pure definition of incompetence and poor business ethics. I cannot, in good faith, recommend this guy for any services based on my experience with hiring him.
After receiving his text, I told him that this is not how business should be done and asked him where his integrity and honor was. I also informed him that I would be giving him a negative, 1-​star review on Unilocal.At that point, he texted me back couple other times stating that he has a right to refuse business to me. I subsequently blocked his phone number so as not to receive any more text messages from him. At that point, It was harassment in my eyes.
If HONESTY is something you value when doing business, then look elsewhere. JC Handyman is not the answer. If JC would have just been honest with me from the start, it would have solved everything and he probably would not have bailed on the job after an hour because I never would have hired him in the first place. Save yourself the time, headache, stress, and harassment and go with a different handyman. You’ll thank me for it.
Update on Friday, May 20^th: We hired Jon D. of Quality Property Services in Norwalk. He arrived on time, worked efficiently, and was able to assemble and install the wall bed without any issue whatsoever. It took him and his son 4 hours total to complete the job. The price was also less than what JC quoted me. You can check my profile for pictures of the completed wall bed installation. Thanks Jon!

Hired JC to do a job… and he was great! He showed up on time and started the job immediately! That was refreshing. Definitely recommend!

I love Unilocal and have found great businesses through Unilocal for several years. This time not so good. I hired Jesse to do several small projects and yes he was prompt and showed up when he said he would. There were issues with the work and when I asked him about it, his standard response was that he thought it looked beautiful. I had him hang a small cabinet above the toilet and rather than centering it over the toilet, he mounted it off center against an adjacent wall. When I mentioned that it didn’t look right, he disagreed with me. Final blow came when i asked him to put new sheet vinyl in a bathroom and he laid it at least two inches crooked. It made me dizzy to look at how off kilter it was. When I asked him about it, he said he thought it looked beautiful and if I wanted it re-​done he would charge me three times the original price he quoted me (already high to begin with). Needless to say, I will not be hiring JC Handyman Services again.

I am forever grateful to this man! JC Handyman is a true blessing. Since my dad’s passing, we have no man to get work done. JC Handyman came to our rescue! Thank you Unilocaler’s! He is a honest man, who takes pride in his work! We will definitely be calling him again! Thank you JC, we appreciate your work ethic and efficiency.

JC was great! I needed a ceiling fan to be fixed and he fixed it in less than an hour. Prices are reasonable as well. Would hire him again in the future.

J.C. replaced my fiberglass shower liner, and he installed a microwave oven. I was impressed with the quality of his workmanship. He was well organized, ethical, and professional. His rates are reasonable. I recommend him for small home repair projects.

Thanks so much for helping me complete my «To Do List» at a fraction of price. JC replaced two rolling screen doors, vinyl flooring in a guest bathroom, doorbell replacement, and broken closet door. He’s one man does it all… Thanks again!

Jesse is an excellent craftsman with a stellar work ethic. We had a huge, hard drywall job to be done with our bathroom. Jesse clearly knows what he is doing. He worked diligently for many hours making precise cuts, matching up and shimming studs, laying the mud to match thickness of the plaster on the existing wall, and texturing it beautifully and spot on to the existing wall. On top of the wonderful job, he has very competitive prices, is a true professional (shows up when he says he will, makes very little mess, cleans up after himself, etc) and is a friendly, nice person. I will definitely be calling JC Handyman Services the next time we need anything done and i recommend him to anyone who wants excellent work done. Thank you Jesse!

Quality work, courteous, multi task. Jc did various jobs for me and was happy with the results.

I needed a repair done at my home, and my friend recommended JC to me. I gave him a call, and he is always very accommodating with my schedule, is able to do a lot of different type of repairs, and he is very good at his work. He always has a great attitude as well. I am very happy to use him whenever we need a repair done. :o) He has helped us with a closet remodel, with my babies nursery, with drywall repair, etc. He is great. Thank you JC! :o)

I manage properties in LA and Orange county and hired JC to paint a rental home almost 2 years ago– we have been using him ever since. He is very honest and reasonable. He can do many things from broken doors, windows, painting, small plumbing issues, lights, keys, etc. He will let you know if he cannot do something unlike other dishonest handymen. Someone like this is very important to have when you have many rentals and tenants that need minor stuff taken care of ASAP and you don’t want to spend a fortune. He shows up when he says he will, does the work correctly and lets you know as soon as he is done. The tenants also LOVE him! I highly recommend JC.

I found JC handyman on Unilocal a year ago and have been using his services since. J C is honest, reliable, dependable and very reasonable. I live in Riverside and manage units in Los Angeles. Whenever there is a problem with one of the units (plumbing, drywall, etc.) I can call on JC to go assess the situation and take care of it. My tenants are happy and I am pleased with the work. I highly recommend J C Handyman.
