Ely’s Towing

D– Better Business Bureau rating and a lot of 1 star ratings for crappy service. As luck would have it, this is who my insurance company calls when my daughters car breaks down on the side of the road when it’s 10 degrees out. Needless to say they lived up to their reputation. 40 minutes after their scheduled arrival time we finally got a hold of someone that said the driver was going to be another 20 minutes. 30 minutes later the driver finally calls and says he isn’t sure when he will be there.
Cancelled tow and called another company.

Showed up over 90 minutes later than estimated time.

Ely’s has towed multiple vehicles for me and they have always been professional, quick and reasonably priced! No complaints and please remember that people are much more willing to tell their horror story than the ease of a situation. A+ from a marketing and customer service professional!

I wish I had known of these Unilocal reviews before my road side assistance had sent this company. They were awful!!! I am in the process of moving cross country and my car wouldn’t start! We got ahold of my insurance and they sent then out. After the guy was over 30 minutes late we called the insurance to see if they knew why they were late and they called To check on it and called back said the driver said he would be there just any moment. So the insurance said she would call back in a bit to check on things, when she called back the driver was still not there so she called him and he lied to her and said he was with the vehicle which he was NOT!!! She called up again and he finally showed up (OVER AN HOUR LATE!!!) the drive walked up and with attitude said so what’s the problem!!! And we said the car won’t start and that someone else had come out to check the battery and he cut us off and said well thoses people don’t no anything I could just jump it for you and my mother said no I just want it taken to Firestone. And he said your attitude won’t make things move any smoother and my mom came back with well your over an hour late and we need to be gettin on the road! And he didn’t say anything back. But when he asked where we were going she told him firestone and the location of the one we had already stoken to and wanted to be taken to and he wanted to take us to a different location and when she said no she wanted to be taken to the one she asked he gave off alot of attitude! When we were finally loaded he was a terrible driver!!! He didn’t fully stop at any stop signs and was speeding most of the way. We were on a very bumpy road and he just kept going didn’t slow at all to make it a nicer ride which I had two small dogs in the back seat of my car one is a 6y/​o mini dauchound who is 11lbs and he other is a 6 month old mini dauchound who is 8 lbs so I can only imagin what they were going through since myself being a grown adult was bouncing all Ova the place! Horrible service and rude terrible drivers!!!
If I could give lower then a 1 star I would absolutely awful!!!
