I highly recommend Mr Bill for all your shoe repair I took my boots to have the heel replaced and they still are lasting longer than the manufacturer ones. And I take all my Prada dress shoes to have them shined up and when I get them back they look good as new. Mr Bill knows how to repair and care for all styles and brands of shoes, it’s hard now days to find someone to take your shoe or luggage to, and have a great job done on them this is definitely a skill trade like blacksmithing that you are going to see less of.

If your looking for great customer service you won’t get it here… However, his ability to repair heels on high end shoes. Exceptional. Highly recommended!

I read their reviews before I took my new pair of Giuseppe Zanotti thigh high leather boots to have one of the heal tips repaired
I left the both boots for reference on heel color. That was January 2015,
I stopped by there in February to advise them that I could not find the repair ticket that they gave me however I wanted to check on the status of my Boots. The gentleman was too busy and did not want to look for them and told me to come back in 2 weeks.
I have heard that same line from Mr Bills all year.
Here it is beginning November and to my surprise all of a sudden he has Alzheimer’s, doesn’t remember me and doesn’t remember my boots. BS
I don’t care whether I have a repair ticket or not
I HAVE been going SINCE February to get my boots and the only commitment I get out of Mr. Bill is to look for my boots
The same commitment he’s been giving me since February. .
I might as well write those boots off … Heartbroken

Very good work at a reasonable price. I needed a nice, but very well worm pair of boots to have a new pair of heels put on. He did very good job and polished the hell out of them to boot, if you’ll pardon the pun. Owner was a bit gruff but the work was excellent, very reasonably priced and done in a week, so no complaints. Also, some of his custom work looked very nice, I may go back to grab another pair from him.

The soles on my loafers were separating so I brought them here for repair. He tried to explain the different options there were to save them but his gruff voice & his shoe repair vernacular had me not really following him so I just chose Option 1. I dropped them off on a Saturday and he said they’d be ready in the afternoon next Saturday, and he would call.
Saturday came, he never called and I was busy and forgot about them. I assumed he would call Monday, he did not so I called him. No answer. He didn’t call Tuesday either so I just popped in Wednesday and lo & behold they were ready.
Not familiar with shoe repair but the craftsmanship seems great and they look better than they ever have (I bought them at a Thrift Store for 8 dollars).
If it wasn’t for the hard to understand explanation of what could be done and him neglecting to call this would be a 5-​Star rating because the work was fantastic.
The work cost $ 55 btw but considering I purchased them for $ 8 it was worth it.

Highly recommend! He fixed the soles of my boots. He shined and cleaned them up very nice. Reasonable prices. He’s old school. Don’t expect an over enthusiastic guy. He’s a true craftsman and knows what he is doing. He was very nice to me. Had my boots ready within a week.

Workmanship is actually CRAFTSMANSHIP. Bill did me right. I needed a leather sheath to be dyed and I needed Bill to «heel my sole.» He saw that BOTH soles were going bad on my boots (Harley-​Davidson 2003 100^th anniversary boots, you’d think H-​D boots would have lasted!). I was asking a LOT… He made it happen.
This was my first transaction, will not be my last. Don’t go here just for the excellent work, but for the whole experience. Old school all the way, this is an experience that most people just don’t get to see anymore. Craftsmanship over everything. You go in and here’s THE GUY who is going to DO THE WORK, but he’s answering your questions. Not some part-​time kid who doesn’t know anything, but he’s THE GUY. You feel connected to the process, and you feel like the guy who’s doing the work is making a personal commitment, even if from a guy who can seem a bit like a curmudgeon. Too many stores are so corporate now that there are several sanitized layers between the cusomer and the worker-​bees. Not here.
Bill is nice, although he reminds me of Eeyore in the Winnie The Pooh stories — he makes me smile a little just because I always think of Eeyore as I read the stories to my kids when they were young. But I see Bill will say something in an Eeyore fashion, and then kinda look above his glasses with a little smile, so he’s a real character to deal with. Funny in a dry way, a good guy. Kinda guy I think would make a good neighbor. As far as his workmanship goes, EXCELLENT.

Horrible experience. Took him months to make repairs, then messed up one of them completely, not repairing a zipper and instead adding a snap I did not want (he said that’s what he wrote down for what I wanted done !!!). Bill is a lousy communicator, did not write my phone number down, charged me about 50% more than he quoted me. I will NEVER go there again. HORRIBLE JOB.

Luggage repair — 3 duffle bags with rips. One of the three was at the seam and Bill wasn’t sure if he could fix it, but he said he’d give it a try. Reasonable price for the service but it took him over 6 weeks.

Repaired Boots & Shined them, on time & for a fair price. Will use again.

Ignore the ambiance and focus on what you’re here for. Bill is a genius. He salvaged my boots and made them good as new. The heel had worn off from walking around so much and I thought that was the end of it. Mr. Bill worked his magic and made a nonexistent heel there again. The price of the repair was incredibly reasonable too.

I’ve not only brought several pair of my boots here, but have referred several friends of mine as well.
We have never been disappointed. First rate boot repair all the way!
