This place is fast and affordable, and made my boots look great! Plus, they are super friendly.

Customer service is the main reason for the low rating. I have used their dry cleaning, shoe and purse repair services without any issues. My last two experiences are the reason for this review. When I brought a bag for the zipper to be reattached, I felt I was overcharged. $ 8.00 to reattach a zipper? If I purchased my own pliers, I more than likely could have done it and in less time(it took them a two-day turnaround for it to be repaired). [I think the real reason why people use repair services isn’t so much that they can’t do it but they’d rather pay someone else to fix it for convenience]. My most recent visit here, I attempted to drop off a purse for a repair to fix one strap and reinforce the attachment of the remaining three straps. I was quoted a price and I agreed for it to be dropped off. THEN, the owner asks me for prepayment. I said, «As many times as I have patronized this establishment, I have never been coerced to pay upfront.» All the dry cleaners I have been to give you the choice to pay now or when you pick it up. Another boot and shoe repair business that I have been to never accepts payment until after the job is complete. So, why did this business out of nowhere make reference to prepayment? I even reminded him that I just dropped off a bag for a zipper repair a couple days before and he said, «I don’t remember.» What happened to the customer is always right? I have no qualms about prepayment but when he brought it up to me as if in coercion, and I have been a longstanding customer that NEVER even knew about this prepayment policy, it seemed a little suspect to me. Lastly, this always irked me but I still continued to use their services(until these last two incidents occurred): the owner will always attempt to make small talk which comes across as forced and awkward. For example, «You work today?» «What you do for a living?» «You look like you go to school? High school? What school you go to? UTA?» I just shake my head and don’t answer any of the foolish, invasive questions. I will not be supporting this establishment any longer. I will return using Bill’s Boot and Shoe Repair.
