Every time my family and I go the ladies at the counter are so helpful and welcoming. And of course the breads and sweetbreads are amazing.

The crusty nature of the regular bread is pretty darn spectacular. The multigrain is thick and crusty and makes amazing toast. It’s super filling too. The sour dough was clearly made by angels. I went into a bread trance and shamefully devoured an entire loaf of the sourdough I bought in one day. The gluten free bread is average, although it is a little inconvenient to order a week ahead for it. Flavor-wise it is on par with Udi’s, which is widely available every day of the week at grocery stores. Thankfully, the bread did not have a heavy garbanzo bean flour taste, which is a pitfall many bakeries stumble across in the quest to provide gluten free bread. But heads up, Celiacs. Their gluten free chocolate chip cookies are ridiculously good, on par with Matt’s or better. They are smaller, but similar in softness, texture, richness and flavor. Coming back to try more stuff!

Their gluten free blueberry muffins are yummy. They let u know right away if you ask for gluten free goods when they will bake them next or if they can’t slice the bread because the machine has to be sanitized.

I just love bread, and this is my favorite place to get it. There are still many types I want to try, but the ones I have were all fabulous! It’s super fresh with natural ingredients, so much healthier that you would find in the typical grocery store. They have a wide bread variety with a rotating schedule and a variety of daily breads… traditionals, savory and sweet! I highly recommend the cheddar sourdough, the tuscan herb formaggio, and the cinnamon swirl.

Their bread is great. I really like their sweet ones too. Sometimes I’ll use that to turn into French toast. It is a hassle to make an extra stop but you can tell the natural quality. Plus processed breads from the grocery store lasts for weeks which prob isn’t good for you.

It’s taken me a long time to write this review, all things being considered equal. Perhaps it has something to do with my current, incessant, delicious carb coma. But hey, I’m not complaining. Living in the area(roughly), I’ve passed Breadsmith about ten million times and always thought to myself«gee, I’ve got to stop in there one of these days!» Well, I snagged the Groupon for three loaves of deliciousness and felt there to be no better time than the present. A few days ago, my husband ran in and ran out with cheddar sourdough. To clarify, this is sourdough *filled with cheddar*. Do you feel what I’m saying? Bread filled with cheese. You can NEVER go wrong with that. My husband and kids absolutely killed that thing, and a few days later, we were in for another loaf. Another delicious, cheesy, sensual loaf. The first time the service was receptive, the second time… meh. Today marked our third trip to Breadsmith, and it was DEFINITELY our best. My husband picked out two loaves(one was a garlic cobblestone, I think, but that was not included in the Groupon) and one was just a simple, plain loaf. The garlic cobblestone was ridiculous. Totally off the chain, eat-until-you-feel-sick-as-can-be ridiculous. You should go get some right now and try it. No, really. I’ll wait. Are you back yet? Okay, while you’re gorging yourself senseless on this amazing garlic nomnomnom, I’ll keep on with my review. Part of the reason this review is a solid five stars is the service we received today. The woman helping us select the bread was fantastic. Knowledgeable, receptive, friendly, and overall just very awesome. I really wish I would’ve caught her name. She definitely made the experience one in which we felt very encouraged to return. Management, if you’re reading… give this woman a raise, please. She is just awesome – totally an asset to your business. Our Groupon loaf days are over, but our purchasing days are not. We will be back. Oh, yes. We will be back.

I can honestly say this is the BEST bread EVER! I would never buy my bread from anywhere else! I am hooked. I have found their bread in some grocery stores but I prefer going into the store, you have more of a variety. They also started making new breads so I’m interested to see what they come up with next. My favorite is the banana bread! Actually they all are. Can’t beat it. Around the holidays they do special shaped breads like shamrocks, turkeys, wreaths, etc… I’m shocked to read the previous review because I’ve been going to this location for well over 10 years now and everyone in the store is very welcoming. I would recommend them to everyone.

One of the most rudest person I’ve ever encountered over the phone. Trying to ask if they carried gluten free bread. The person working at Breadsmith said in a very short and rude voice…“yes, special orders only, only taken one day a week, but with Thanksgiving, we’re not taking your order, and you’re not getting any gluten free bread until December! I’ve never been spoken to before by any business. I would fire that person. We also won’t be buying anything from this store, there are plenty of bakeries around.
