I used to be OBSESSED with Taco Bell! I am a vegetarian, but that doesn’t stop me. TB is always accommodating with customizing menu options, which is very pleasing to me. Since my obsession has subsided, I only venture to T. Bell on a rare occasion… a treat if you will. It’s just too good to give up! This Mountain View Taco Bell is clean, the employees are courteous, and the food is usually brought out quickly. I miss my weekly visits, but my body thanks me for the separation… but we are not getting divorced.

They always get our order wrong. We do a lot of custom stuff, so I guess I could forgive it once in a while or on busy days but it’s like they don’t even try.

Been there many times. Love it! Taste — 9.5÷10 — Great food. Never old and good flavor. Food Placement — 9.5÷10 — Nachos always fall out of the bag, overstuft. Service — 9⁄10 — They sometimes accidentally mess up my order, but they fix it. Final score: 9.5÷10 Great Taco Bell. Would come again.

5 stars for a Taco Bell? What the heck. You bet I’m giving them 5 stars. They saved my life. Sorta. My friend and I were on our way home from an event when we realized we overshot our destination by 10 miles because we were distracted. Both of our phones were dead, we were running on empty, and we didn’t realize how far we were until I noticed the signs for Mountain View. We both have comical terrible senses of direction.- really dumb I know. Anyway, my friend and I were in full panic mode and had to grab gas at the station next door. I sent her on her way back to SJ since she had to get home ASAP(not smart, I know) and I was heading towards the peninsula but I had to wait for my fiancé to get me. After the shady guy at the gas station(obviously trying to take advantage of the situation) tried to sell me a phone charger out of a shoebox for $ 10, I walked off. There was a guy harassing me on the street so I ducked into this Taco Bell for safety. The people there were super kind and asked me what was wrong since I looked so flustered. I told them my phone was out of battery and I asked if I could use their phone. The guy at the front was super nice and let me while he gave me something to drink. The people there also told me to just relax and wait until my ride came. They kept checking up on me and took care of me in my moment of need. So, thank you Taco Bell. Thanks for making me feel safe and for being such good people! Seriously. Thank you.

5 stars for awesome customer service. Etherlyn is fantastic. I’ve never had such amazing customer service from a fast food joint. While I was eatting my tacos, I noticed that she greets each customer at the cash register and says good bye to them as they leave the restaurant. She would take out the trash, clean the trays, refill the cup lids, wipe the tables down and quickly go back to the cash registers when customers walk in. The best part about this is that she does all of this with a smile on her face. She should either get promoted or get a raise. Fantastic job!!!

A suggestion to Taco Bell managers in the area: A comparison of two practices for identifying customers and orders: Assigning a customer an automatically generated number: — guarantees every customer has a unique number — is done automatically — Customers can estimate how soon their order will be ready by comparing the most recently called number with their own assigned number — respects anonymity and privacy Asking customers for their names: — requires the clerk to ask an extra question and take their hands off the register and get out a pen — The clerk may have difficulty spelling or pronouncing the customer’s name, or mishear the name, especially if there is a cultural difference between them — is thought to be unnecessary and personally invasive by some customers — customers cannot gauge how soon their order will be ready — there is no guarantee that every customer in the store has a unique first name– duplicate names can cause confusion For years Radio Shack was the laughing stock of the retail world because clerks asked every customer for their name and address and copied it down longhand. Later they admitted this practice was unnecessary and even put on commercials lampooning themselves and announced they would stop doing it. I do enjoy Taco Bell’s food.

It’s all right. I actually ate in here once or twice. When I do order from here though I usually get the #6 beef supreme chalupa not tomatoes :) Taco Bell is actually a surprising place to want to order an ice coffee from. If you like the flavor of instant coffee on ice(it reminds me of folgers) I recommend the Ice Vanilla Coffee. Don’t laugh, I’d get this vanilla coffee over Starbucks anytime. And it’s cheap! :O

Hit the drive through and get some double-decker tacos which are the only CHP approved mexican food item for eating while driving on the 101 as you make your way back to the city.

This is an Update for April 14, 2012 I ordered Nachos Bell Grande. There was hardly any meat/sauce topping on the chips. The manager said she would put more on this time but that she’d have to charge me for it next time! I said — no, I didn’t want anything Extra on it, just the regular amount of topping that has been on it for the last 20 years. She insisted that they measured the portions of topping, etc. I returned it all and told her I’d just put a Unilocal on. I drove 3 or so miles to the Mountain View Taco Bell on El Camino and had a great, luscious Nachos Bell Grande. If I am going to treat myself to Taco Bell I expect it to be good, as it usually is. The manager, Martha, at the Palo Alto Taco Bell by OSH lost a customer and saved 1 or 2 cents in topping supplies, yay . I have gone to this particular Taco Bell for more than 20 years and it has been good 99.5 percent of the time. I will wait a couple of years before trying it again. This is an older review: I got food at the drive thru window. He didn’t ask if I wanted hot sauce. He did not give napkins. Better people used to work there. Where did they go? Beautiful, clean New, fancy Bathroom. (Maybe they paid for the bathroom with the money they are saving by cheating you out of/not asking if you want Hot Sauce now.)

Dude. It’s a Taco Bell. I’m not expecting high quality anything from this place. It’s clean, the waitstaff are friendly, the food is cheap– regardless of what price it USED to be. I go here pretty regularly since it’s the only place I can spend under $ 2.50 and be reasonably full. For that price how could I expect anything more? Shit, at triple the price how could expect more? I’m cheap. But I’m not an asshole.

Don’t know quite how to rate this place since its a taco bell. Anyway, its been refurbished so its very nice inside. You don’thave to ask for the key to use the bathroom and it has decent parking. No dodgy or homeless types hanging out there when we visited it. Food wise — Taco bell is Taco bell. If you were avoiding this place because it was run down, check again.

Time for quality control at this Taco Bell! We went through the drive through for lunch and got a grilled stuff’t burrito and that $ 5 buck box since it’s only $ 5. We get to the window and pay accordingly but then get a weird bag full of some of the $ 5 stuff, minus the cinnamon twists and with no drink. I luckily remembered that I was supposed to have a drink so I asked the guy for that. When we got home I had a receipt for another order before me(dude spent $ 20 at taco bell — how do you do that??) so I really hope they charged my card correctly. We didn’t get a grilled stuffed burrito either! Poorly done. Won’t be coming to this taco bell anytime soon.

I think everyone has eaten at Taco Bell knows the story. It’s incredibly cheap Mexican food that satisfies a quick craving. I don’t think I’ve ever had someone tell me that they crave Taco Bell but when you see the place & you’re hungry you think«Yea, why not?» It also doesn’t help that being in Cali, there are so many other Mexican food alternatives that are way better than Taco Bell… but you can’t beat their pricing so anyone with change in their pocket will eat here. I have to be honest and say that Taco Bell, in general, is almost last on my list of fast food places to eat. I would even drive a little out of my way to get to a couple of places ahead of Taco Bell on my list. The location of this Taco Bell is also strange. Right near the intersection, next to a gas station and a KFC/Long John’s. I want to assume if you had a choice and you went on taste, you’d pick KFC/Long John’s over Taco Bell(if not then for the multiple choices of food). So if you have very little money on you and are hungry, Taco Bell is your only choice. menu:

This place gets 4 stars because there’s no indoor restroom. Other than that, what else could you expect from a fast food restaurant? It’s got consistent service and food quality, the taco bell sauce packets now have messages, and if you go there enough, the workers know you by name! Cheers! I suggest the ‘fresco’ menu. The cilantro in the tomato pico de gallo goodness really adds a kick. It’s also more healthy than non-fresco.

This Taco Bell is not one of the participating Taco Bells that has the 99 cent special for the Gordita Supreme, so fug’em. To their credit tho, they got the cajones to coexist within 25 yards of a Chipotle(which is actually a godsend cos Chipotle is only open till 10pm.)
