History
Established in 2005.
In 2005, Alex Kent moved he and his family from The Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago in pursuit of the natural beauty and economic vibrancy of Silicon Valley, where he joined Cornish & Carey Commercial as a Vice President in their Tenant Advisory Group.
Within a few months, Alex partnered with Cornish’s #1 producer to work with clients like The Carlyle Group, which resulted in a $ 43M Class A Office/Data Center purchase, and then onto working with Goldman Sachs on their Class A Office leasing requirement on Sandhill Rd.
In 2008, Alex launched Symphonic Investments /Real Estate Services.

Alex Kent uniquely understands the restaurant and retail industry, as his grandparents were one of the first Kentucky Fried Chicken franchisees 55 years ago, Alex’s first job was as a KFC cook and then as a fine dining Waiter, and his family now owns several successful bars and restaurants.
Alex started his business career in 1994 at Ogilvy & Mather Advertising in NYC in client service (consumer packaged goods), and then delivered 10 years of top-ranked tech finance and sales management to CIO/CFO clients at MCI (negotiated $ 435M in complex telecom contracts) in Chicago before earning his MBA from Kellogg School of Management/Northwestern University in Finance and Marketing and then joining Cornish & Carey Commercial as a Vice President in their Tenant Advisory practice in Santa Clara, CA.
Alex founded Symphonic Real Estate Services in 2008, and now specializes in Class A Office, Retail, Restaurant, and Technical Real Estate (negotiated $ 78M in complex real estate contracts).
