I lost my debit card and was going to request for one to be mailed to me but since it took up to 10 business days to get to me and I was going to be in the Palo Alto area to meet up a friend and her kids to go to the Palo Alto Jr Museum, I thought, why not just stop there along the way. I went there around 10am so thank goodness there was still street parking right in front of it. Otherwise I did notice a parking garage across the street. This SMCU is super narrow and small. I am assuming it’s there literally to just help customers on the go because it is very small in there. The gentleman was very nice and helped me with no problem. My kids walked out with a piece of candy each and a SMCU recyclable bag!

I’m in the midst of relocating to Palo Alto, and have a credit union account with an out of state credit union. Today I needed to do all sorts of money juggling to get a deposit check together for an apartment, and Tim at the small SMCU branch in downtown Palo Alto was a life saver.
He helped me figure out the best way to get the money transferred into the right account and turned into a cashiers check to give to the landlord. On top of that, the leasing agreement had the wrong name to put on the check, and when I had to go back to the branch to get the check all sorted out, Tim once again tirelessly worked through the hoops required for an out of state credit union transaction.
It definitely helped lower my anxiety level through the whole ordeal to have someone who knew what they were doing!
