Great experience at Palo Alto Vision Optometry w Dr. Le. He is super friendly and very knowledgeable about anything I had to ask. Good standard eye exam, glaucoma test, and got my eyes dilated (even got to see pictures of the back of eyes!). He gave me two trial pairs of lenses to try out!
I typically like to shop around with my doctors/​health care providers, but he did such a great job, I’m gonna stick w him for my vision care! Would totally recommend, best eye doctor I’ve been to.

Dr le took care of my entire family last year. He is very good. And professional, thorough.

I had a wonderful experience wth Dr. Le today. He was very kind and explained everything thoroughly, usually I have to ask. I like that he began the appt. asking if I had any concerns about changes in the past year. He had great advice on how to handle dry eyes if you work in front of a computer or strain your eyes through repetitive tasks. Overall great experience.

Michael conducted a very thorough and thoughtful exam. He was very engaging and made the eye exam a nice, even fun experience! I would highly recommend him.

Having struggled my whole life with a tricky prescription (and eyesight), I appreciate when an eye doctor provides excellent care. Dr. Le has all the qualities of a fantastic healthcare provider: very attentive listener, detail-​oriented, responsive, and caring. I have a difficult prescription and he spent literally weeks with me, tweaking a little bit here & there until the best vision was achieved. I was really impressed by his professionalism and depth of knowledge. I would recommend Dr. Le in a heartbeat.

Dr. Le was my doctor for when I visited the Optometrist’s office at 109 S California Ave. in Palo Alto. I’ve decided to mirror my review from there here.
Dr. Le was fantastic. He explained everything I needed to know (and encouraged me to ask more questions), made the exam more fun than anything, and made himself available for more questions.
My previous experience with an Optometrist was when I was with Kaiser, and while it wasn’t bad, they didn’t check my eyes for anything better than 20/​20, stopping when it was determine I could see at least that well. Dr. Le determined I could actually see better than that, and that glasses would further help. I don’t like that Kaiser was ok with ‘leaving some on the ground’, meaning not encouraging me to improve my vision to its true potential.
As I mentioned in the other review, I found the optometrist office/​Dr. Le on Unilocal,and I believe I was steered in the right direction, so this review will hopefully help cement his spot as a 5 star doctor.

I brought my parents for their vision needs today and both of them are under medi-​cal insurance. Dr Michael and his staff took care of them both. As usually, the experience is fabulous and Dr Michael is simply the best. Thanks and you guys deserving much more than 5 stars!!!

I actually found Dr. Chin via Unilocal and contacted the office to make an appointment. Katherine got back to me on Monday when the office was closed to schedule an appointment for me the next day. She was great! I last had my eyes checked about 1.5 years ago and recently moved to the area. More recently I was experiencing more intense sensitivity to light, dry eyes, and headaches.
When I arrived at the office I filled out the typical paperwork. I then did all the pre-​testing with the woman who handles that. It was sort of fun! More than I had done at past eye exams. It was very interesting and she was happy to explain each test to me.
I saw Dr. Le next. He was very attentive in listening to my concerns and issues prior to his exam. He did an extensive and thorough exam to check on the specific issues I was having. His recommendations were simple and great. I’ve followed exactly what he advised. It’s been a couple weeks now and I have had relief with the dry eyes and thus the headaches. Next we’ll be addressing the light sensitivity.
I highly recommend Dr. Le and the practice. Everyone there is very nice and happy to explain what they are doing.

A few months ago, I went to Dr. Le to get my prescription renewed on my contacts. Dr. Le was nice, quick (I was in and out in less than 30 minutes), and answered all my questions. I’d definitely recommend Dr. Le to anyone who needs to an eye glass or contact prescription.

went to Dr. Chin’s office the first time to get a contact exam about 6 months ago. I made an appointment online but the confirmation email never came so I called and set up an appointment with Dr. Michael Le on Sat afternoon. Dr. Le is a young yet really professional person. On my first visit we went through many tests and Dr. Le would explain everything to me. It actually took longer than I expected (~ 1hr) and since I was going to try a new brand Dr. Le gave me a trial pack and asked me to come back a week later. Today I went and Dr. Le again check up my eyes. I ended up ordering a year supply of contacts (Acuvue Trueye) from them and found out it’s even cheaper than ordering online after rebate (they’ve got special VSP rebate).
