I have not yet seen her professionally. I am writing this a way to thank her for her kindness. She was very kind and compassionate to me on the phone regarding a reason I needed to cancel a last minute appointment I had made for an intake. The office rules are that if you cancel sooner than 24 hours before an appointment then you are charged, period. I had called to make an appointment for the following week, but accepted a last minute appointment for the next morning from a cancellation they had, because I believed I could change my work around to meet the time frame, but by the end of the day I could not. The office was firm about my having to pay in any case, rules being rules, even in last minute cases like this. She personally called me and was very kind, compassionate and flexible in her conversation with me. On this basis alone, I would recommend at least trying her as a psychiatrist.
