Ann — I wish to God I had read your review before I hired Jeffrey. He racked up 5K in fees in what turned out to be an uncontested case, and the divorce STILL isn’t finalized after I disengaged him. He barely got us ½ way through the process, and I have no idea how many mistakes he made with the court. Before I disengaged him, I told him I couldn’t afford anymore, he said I should ask my soon to be ex to pitch in. He is clearly interested in getting as much money out of his clients as he can get away with, filling out unnecessary form after form so he could bill his time. I feel robbed.

Jeff was opposing counsel in my divorce case. Thanks to his arrogance and ignorance I got even more than I asked for.
He was silly enough to take the case to the Court of Appeals when he lost at trial and lost spectacularly on appeal as well. His actions were called obstructionist by the judge and cost my ex $ 10,000 in sanctions. He was so unethical I reported him to the Bar where he was investigated.
