I live in Greenmeadow and love it! When we first moved here, the swim team got our children and us parents acquainted with the Greenmeadow residents and associates in a big hurry. Those long swim meets are great social occasions! I’ve made many friends that way. We also got to know our wonderful neighbors immediately after our move, at the 4th of July potluck dinner that’s held by each block after the big parade and celebration for all Greenmeadow. And I love the progressive dinners and food-truck/karaōke nights. Just have to bike more to balance out those calories — not a problem with Charleston Plaza shops and the new Mitchell library close by.

Greenmeadow is a beautiful pool with all kinds of programs and activities. It’s a pretty cool little neighborhood quietly tucked behind Cubberley. The pool is open year round and with these warm winters, it’s been great to be able to swim and do aquatic classes while the kids are playing. The pool is fully staffed with lifeguards at all times. I also go to yoga there and I LOVE it.

If you want to experience what Palo Alto was like 30 years ago, the Greenmeadow pool and community association are for you. I grew up in Palo Alto, and live here now, and there are relatively few places where the original spirit is so well preserved. Great, relaxed pool; nice people; a fun and inclusive community organization that hosts awesome activities throughout the year. After 12 years as members of the Pacific Athletic Club(where often we were treated more like customers), we were thrilled to find Greenmeadow. It’s been a little trip to heaven for our family.

Really friendly pool, not too crowded, tons of kids, fun swim team, etc. Facilities are good, with nice grass, plenty of tables and lawn chairs, and a pingpong table. The best part is the real family/local atmosphere.

I can’t believe I never knew about this pool growing up in the area. A friend rented in the neighborhood, so I came with her last summer and was excited to find a totally low-key, non-snobby place to swim laps. Paying for a membership costs more than swimming at a community pool, but the flexibility of one’s entire family being able to swim at any time of day makes it worth it for us. The four stars are just because the locker rooms could use updating, which I think is on the radar, and a suit spinner(I’ve been spoiled by them at other facilities).

I have to share how much we LOVEGREENMEADOW pool. We have been members for 14 years. My kids learned how to swim at Greenmeadow pool with all the wonderful group and private swim classes every spring and summer. Now all my children are on the Greenmeadow Swim Team and compete with other community pools in the area. There are lovely social events like swim team dinners every week in the summer, potluck dinners, parades, races, etc. Greenmeadow offers a fantastic COMMUNITY! If you are looking for a nice place to swim and hang out during the spring, summer, & fall then Greenmeadow is the place to meet friendly people.

Greenmeadow is a great neighborhood for raising a family. Gabby and her team are doing a fabulous job running the pool and helping with events. My family is looking forward to another great summer of swimming, swim team, food trucks, 4th of July etc.

The Greenmeadow Community Association is primarily for those families who live right here in the surrounding Eichler neighborhood, but they also offer associate swim memberships. We’ve been looking for a new swimming option, so I recently came by to check out Greenmeadow. In short it’s a quaint neighborhood pool setup — midday Saturday there were a few lanes blocked off for the lap swimmers while probably 2⁄3 of the pool was being used for kid and family play. There was a lifeguard on duty, but otherwise the feel was only a half-step more professional than a friend’s backyard pool party. So that might sound like an insult to some, but the quiet familiar atmosphere actually holds a lot of appeal for me at this point(in contrast to say the Pacific Athletic Club, Decathalon Club, or other industrial-grade places we’ve been swimming at for the past few years). Associate membership runs $ 925 per family for the March-October season, so not insignificant, but reasonable if you’re going to swim a lot. They are currently running a wait list of approximately one year. I haven’t decided yet whether or not to throw our name on the list, but it’s a pretty compelling option.

Greenmeadow is a great little neighborhood and community. Located behind the Cubberly Community Soccer/Softball field to Alma, a community of homes that shares a swimming pool and park. During the summer, they have events on Friday nights like dinners, parties and overnighters. July 4th is huge with the kiddie and adult community, there is a neighborhood parade, kids decorate their tricycles, bicycles, wagons and make floats to parade and be judged through the streets. During the afternoon are games, jam and pickle contest and a BBQ and bake sale. A tight knit community where they know their neighbors. Walking distance to the Charleston Shopping Center and Cubberly Community Center.
