Golden Express

I just started a new job and needed a courier. I called Golden Express based on the reviews here at 3pm on a Thursday. It rang 100 times and then disconnected. I checked the number and called two more times. No answer.

I’m giving Golden Express 3 stars because I’ve never had any issued before yesterday. Based on my experience yesterday though, I would give them one star. Normally the courier shows up on time and delivers the package with plenty of time to spare. I’ve never had an issue before. We have packages that are VERY time sensitive and I’ve always been able to rely on Golden Express. However, yesterday was not acceptable. I called Golden Express around 1:30pm to request that a package be picked up from Sunnyvale by 4:00pm and delivered to Los Altos no later than 5:00pm (a 25 minute drive). After numerous follow-​up calls to Golden Express the driver did not show up until 4:45. With no sense of urgency and a bad attitude he left with my package with instructions to call me when it was delivered. It was not delivered until 5:30. I’m not sure if I’m more frustrated that it was late, the person I talked to kept insisting it would get there by 5 or the driver had a bad attitude. Either way it was definitely not ok. I’m not sure I will give Golden Express another chance since I can’t risk it.

I had an amazing experience with this company. Reliable and efficient delivery. I was in a bind and Golden Express really saved me a lot of time and money!

Awesome Customer Service needed my documents within a very specific time frame and they delivered!!. I’m happy to know there is a company I can rely on when I need to send or retrieve important documents. they are a courier and freight service company and excellent at that!!. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

If I could give this company 10 stars I would! I needed a prototype for a Mec Eng project I am working on safely transported from Palo Alto to my start up in LA. Golden Express brought the prototype to me. I worked on it and also sent it back to Palo Alto using their service. I had no idea that things could get shipped so fast between Norcal and Socal. I used their same day service for both shipments and will definitely be using them again in the future.

My experiences with Golden Express have been great. The freight distribution network delivers our goods and services with no trouble at all. They are punctual and available for help when I need them. I would highly recommend this group.

I needed some trial exhibits picked up, copied and mailed out to me. AR and his team delivered the goods! they even put up with dealing with the dickhead opposing counsel for me — good work GE DELIVERS!

I’m not usually one to write these reviews but Golden Express really came through for me in a pinch. I had urgent documents I needed sent from Palo Alto to a contractor in the East Bay. They were able to do so, despite my inconvenient request, and saved my skin, hence why I’m returning the karma. They really handle same-​day deliveries well and I am sure I’ll be going back to them soon.

Was stressing out on delivering a present. I was recommended to use GE for a same-​day delivery. It was pretty late in the day already but was told they work ²⁴⁄₇. So I gave them a call. Long story short, had a great experience using GE. They were prompt in picking up the package. And as a same-​day delivery service, the price was reasonable. I got a call later that night from my friend saying she got the present :)
I will definitely recommend my friends to use GE.

I use Golden Express for all my same-​day deliveries. The rates are reasonable and the drivers are friendly. My company Geofranc has used them for over 2 years. Not once have we received anything less than great service.

Golden Express truly takes the gold in punctuality and customer service. Here’s a story for the kids: I work for a small-​mid size engineering firm in San Mateo and had 10 sets of plans requiring same day delivery to a client in San Jose. GE was more than willing to go the extra mile (no pun intended) to insure our product’s arrival in the most professional manner — no small feat considering this assignment was on a two hour deadline.
This was my first transaction with this company but it surely wont be the last. I’d highly recommend you give these guys a try

Was in a jam and needed to have some very urgent documents delivered from my office in Oakland down to San Jose but was in the middle of a sales meeting, so delivering them myself was not an option. I started freaking out thinking that I was going to lose my job for the oversight but one of my colleagues asked me to calm down and suggested a sam day courier service.
I had never used a same day courier before and found these guys online. Was surprised that their rate was very reasonable for what they managed to accomplish. They driver showed up at my office very quickly, almost as if he was hanging around the corner, kept me updated and had my documents delivered in less than an hour from the time he picked them up. I would highly recommend this service. These guys are lifesavers or in my case jobsavers ;)

If I could give this delivery service more stars I would.
My wife and I applied for visas for India for our kids, the visa folks finally released the passports but I wasn’t able to make the pick up time b/​c of my work schedule. I called Golden Express to see if they would, not only did they pick up the passports but they double checked to see if the visa has been granted and unfortunately it was not and the folks at the visa office requested additional documents. But they did not even email or tell us, and instead had a pick up date scheduled but the passports didn’t even have the visa stamp. Golden Express totally saved us big time, now they will be going back tomorrow to drop off the additional documents the visa office requested. I don’t know of any delivery company that would double check like they did.

Golden Express is a very professional and efficient delivery service Company. Our accounting firm has used Golden Express for expedited shipments on numerous occasions. On one occasion, I needed documents delivered within the hour and Golden Express was able to deliver. They are headquartered in Palo Alto which makes it convenient to make shipments throughout the Silicon Valley and San Francisco. I think this service is great for any business which needs reliable same day delivery services. I will definitely use them again.

Golden Express isn’t your typical courier — they are the «golden standard» to which others should strive to be. Great service and their rates so reasonable and fair. I use them to deliver product orders to my customers that weigh anywhere from 20 lbs to 104 lbs! They are always on time, courteous and quick to help me out. Our small business uses these courier services on occasion. The owner is this really nice man, so we tried him out. True to his word, they are never late, never. Every single driver I’ve met is polite, respectful, and on time. They’ve saved my life more than once getting things delivered on time.
