Our Services:

A team of highly trained estheticians performs an in-​depth skin analysis and then specifically selects face and body products that will properly address your skin’s needs. An extensive selection of anti-​aging facials, peeling facials, customized signature facials, anti-​aging body treatments, addresses your every day needs and delivers an unsurpassed spa experience. All our estheticians hold a California Esthetician License and have followed a European facial training.

For our facial and body hair removal services we work with the gentlest Italian wax depilatory available. Our estheticians are extensively trained in brazilian waxing.

Massage is a healing art that has been around since ancient Egyptian times. Massage therapy offers many health benefits; it increases the blood and lymph flow, stimulates the nervous system and relieves muscle tension. Not only does massage feel good, it enhances your overall health.

History

Established in 2010.

Bianca de Jong is the founder of Forest Spa Boutique. Bianca has been in the spa industry for the past 20 years and owned a facial boutique in The Netherlands for over 10 years. She holds a European esthetician, massage therapy and nail therapy license and since January 2006 she also holds a California esthetician license.

I just came back from having a facial here. It was awesome! I had the rosacea facial. Amanda was great and after I told her that I had hyper sensitive skin she suggested this facial and my face thanks her for it. I feel amazing.
It was the right amount of conversation with relaxation. I recommend it hands down.

Had my appointment this morning with Bianca, the owner and she is such a sweetheart. This is my second visit to Forest Spa, and I am so glad I have found my new spot for waxing. Everyone is very friendly. I really appreciated how she took her time on my eyebrows. My skin is very sensitive, and she recommended certain facials for my skin type which I will definitely come back for!

This is an update to my previous review. Bianca, the owner, called and apologized. She refunded my money. She offered free products to soothe and calming treatment (neither of which I availed of since I do not want to try anything new on my skin while it is inflamed). I am upgrading my rating, because I had a really good experience while at the spa and also because Bianca sounded sincere in her desire to help. It took a week for the inflammation to subside. I might get up the courage to go back there eventually but not for a long while.

I visited Forest Spa Boutique for the first time last weekend and LOVED IT. I saw Kelly for waxing and the experience was perfect. I always get nervous for waxing but Kelly made this wax as PAIN FREE as possible and relaxing. I highly recommend Kelly if you are nervous or a first time wax. The results of the wax are great and after a week it still looks perfect which is not always the case at other places. Forest Spa Boutique itself was super clean, serene and they have coffee/​tea/​water. My new go-​to spa ;) Thank you Kelly!

I started coming here about 6 yrs ago, mainly I will get their 90 minutes signature body massage. From the first appointment until now, never a disappointment! Due to I have had three major leg operations at Stanford, Bianca takes super care on me. Always fully attended to all my needs, no matter how busy is her schedule! Never treated me as a money making machine but someone with a heart of gold, to go one step further to make my life n health better!
I’ve also try Kelly many times for facials, she truly see what I need to recommend the particular facial, never what is most expensive on their menu.
With peoples who put so much love n care into their daily job, I believe they spend more time at work then with their families. I think they deserve a simple thank you from me n thank you for taking such good care of me all these years. Your dedication n love is always there waiting for me.
As I always say to you ladies, this will be the last place I would like to spend my time before I go to heaven!

Time to write an update. My husband and I have been loyal customers of Forest Spa Boutique for years and it doesn’t matter when we come in the quality of work has always been sublime. Bianca trains her staff well! We’ve had services from most of her staff members and we have never been disappointed. She recently added a diamond dermal peel facial to her list of services and I was impressed how smooth it left my skin. During this facial treatment she used multiple serums that gave an immediate lifting result and an amazing glow. My husband has super sensitive skin and Bianca has a ton of experience with this skin type. Caviar Affair Magazine even did an interview about her spa and the sensitive skin services it offers. If you’re in need of a facial, massage, brazilian wax or full body waxing this is really the place to go in the Bay Area.

I look forward to my appointments each week. I always get a warm welcome from Wendy who works the front desk. She makes my favorite drink a «hot latte»
I have see both Millie and Jessica for my massages. They are both wonderful massage therapists. My tight and knotted muscles are not something easy to work on but I love how these girls try to offer different techniques to help relax my muscles. I truly appreciate their hard work.
I am always pleased and very happy with Bianca’s Facials. She exams my skin each time I go in and she has a new remedy for my skin. This last time she used Passion Fruit peel it’s great treatment for anti-​aging skin. Love it so much.
Can’t wait till next week to see everyone again. Many thanks to everyone at the Forest Spa Boutique for making me feel right at home.

I first met Bianca years ago when she was working at another spa and followed her when she opened her own place. I see her monthly for waxing, occasionally for facials and massages and all three of my teenagers have had adolescent facials with her. She’s amazing: knowledgable, has incredibly high standards and she’s always friendly & cheerful. She was the first person who told me I have rosacea. The spa uses Prevonia products, which I love and have had great success using them at home.
I’ve on occasion (because of scheduling) used other estheticians in the spa and all have been first rate.

I’ve been going to Forest Spa Boutique ever since Bianca first opened on Forest Lane. Over the years I’ve had facials here with some regularity, but I also go to other spas when I’m traveling. I have to say, Bianca is the most careful and consistent aesthetician I’ve ever worked with. She is able to improve my complexion without making me «look worked on». As my skin has changed over these years, she’s always right there with the info on how to adjust my care routine, and she does not oversell the lines she carries in the shop. I have also watched her as the spa has expanded — it was literally just her in the beginning — and she’s super careful about the skill and attitude of the people she hires. This is just a great resource.

I booked an appointment with Kelly for my first facial in a very long time. She was really professional and talked me through what she was doing which I really appreciated. It surprisingly wasn’t distracting and I felt better informed about what was going on my face. :)
She uses top quality products with natural ingredients and was very knowledgeable about the contents of everything. I even slipped into a quick cat nap during the massage portion because it was that amazing! Later, I purchased a gift certificate for my mom so that she could also get pampered by Kelly for Mother’s Day. Can’t wait to go back again soon.

Kelly is the best! She has been doing my facials and waxing for a few months now. She has a lot of experience/​certifications. I never let anyone touch my eyebrows because I’ve had bad experiences with that in the past. Kelly is a miracle eyebrow worker. Also, if you get a facial, ask for the pumpkin peel!

Michele did my Brazilian and waxed my underarms. She was professional, kind and did an amazing job. It was painless; a lttle uncomfortable in the more tender areas but not painful. She was quick and had a way of making me feel comfortable while in a few uncompromising positions. The results were great; smooth, hairless and no ingrowns and did I mention painless? :-)
The salon is beautiful and calming. The receptionist was friendly, professional and accomodating.
I highly recommend this salon and Michele for your waxing needs.

I saw Bianca, the owner, for a leg wax and bikini wax today. She is awesome! It was my first time getting my legs waxed and I was feeling nervous. Moreover, it was my first time at Forest Spa and since my wedding is only a week away, I really wanted things to go perfectly!
Bianca was great — very kind, professional, and (most importantly!) a great waxer. The pain was as minimal as it could be and she used cool towels to help soothe my skin afterwards. She even explained to me that contrary to a lot of the advice on the internet, it’s not a good idea to take an Advil before a wax since it can make the skin more likely to bruise. Good to know!
She also remembered that I was coming in for a pre-​wedding wax based on an email I sent her months ago, and she congratulated me on my upcoming nuptials, which was sweet.
The spa itself is in a great location, just off University in downtown Palo Alto. The inside is cute and nicely decorated, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this spot! Just be sure to book in advance — Bianca told me she books up very quickly (and I can see why!).
