Villa Nova’s

I really like this place. I’ve only been here for lunch, and only had the lunch special, but it’s a great value and it’s great food. I’ve always had good service here as well. Very friendly staff. Definitely will be stopping in for lunch often!

Good pizza, stromboli, garlic knots. I also had a very good Mediterranean salad — huge, I ate it for three meals! Also, know that even the «medium» stromboli is enough to feed two people.

Delicious food. I love the white pizza, but I have never had a bad pizza of any kind. They are sometimes slow but only because they are so busy. If they delivered, I would have it every day.

Great place in a small town! We were in town for sports tournament and came here for lunch. Food was delicious, arrived quickly and the wait staff was very friendly. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing. I walked in to order a pizza to go and in 15 minutes on a busy Friday night, it was ready to go. The pizza was delicious and even great cool the next day. Made me think of the great New York pizza I had several years ago.

I enjoy going here and have been a handful of times. Most times the service was on the slower side, but last time our waitress was on the ball and there was no waiting for refills, etc.
Ironically they have great quesedillas and I’ve been stuck on the chicken one. Plus its so big I have never finished it in one sitting!
The staff have always been friendly, and the atmosphere is laid back and good to take my 2 babies so I don’t have to worry too much about their volume.
We will be going here many more times!

Great Italian in small town!
Fresh bread, whole made chips that are the bomb.
Not a fan of the salad. It’s ready made not that appealing.
Lobster ravioli has been amazing and comparable to any fine restaurant that I’ve dinned in the past across the country…
However this evening they did not hit the mark. Disappointed as I brought a guest.

What ever happened to the notion if a «New York minute?’ I stopped coming here years ago because the service was predictably slow, but today I (foolishly) tried again. Because of the painful memories of slothful service, we ordered what we thought should have been easy — a slice of cheese pizza and a pre-​made salad. Ten minutes later, our beverages came out including a fountain drink with no carbonation. When asked, the server said she knew the CO2 was not working. So why serve the flat soda? Thirty minutes later, we’re talking about leaving if we could have gotten a check for the flat soda or its bottled replacement. Thirty five minutes, I am thinking of ordering from Dominos for delivery. Not a crumb of anything was offered to eat, not even a crust if bread. Forty five minutes into our planned «quick bite» our slice and salad drifted out to the table. Not too bad if your are starved enough, but certainly not worth $ 15 and over an hour. Another excruciating delay while waiting to pay and my bad memories were all refreshed. I am no New Yorker, but if this is NY Style, I can see why the level of violent crime is so high. Walter does a great job! I love the meat balls and spaghetti ! Good pizza! Great service! Never a bad meal! They stick with what they know! Except for for the foot long and fries for $ 8. I am sure it’s great!

Ok, so here’s my update ! After giving Villa Nova more than 3 visits after my terrible first experience, We (me and hubby) decided that the pizza was the best in the area, I have never had the pasta again, but pizza and sandwiches are great ! Lunch special is a good deal and staff is always nice.

I have only had the white pizza with spinach, tomato, ham. Is delicious every time! Like better than the usual chain pizza. Ask for less garlic though cause they go HEAVY on it.

Their White Pizza (ricotta, mozzarella & garlic) is SOOO GOOD. I crave it all the time. Especially when you add on some spinach and green peppers. So delicious.
I don’t think we’ve actually tried anything else, other than their cannolis, which were also very good. They’re quite large too.
I’ve never eaten inside, we always order on the phone and pick it up. Never been disappointed.

We shared a veggie pizza and doubled the toppings. Thankfully we got a heads up to do so because, there was still barely any cheese on the pizza. It was pretty tasty but, like another reviewer said, there should definitely be fresh mushrooms. My husband had the Shrimp and Crab and said it was good. The lady who took our order repeated it back wrong twice but, we cant comment on the service as we did take out.

Being from NY visiting for the a holiday, I was very skeptical. Pizza and crust were good, but a little salty. Calzone was large and very good as well. I would stop again in the future.

Real deal pizza right here in little old Palmyra. Their slogan is «New York Style with a Virginia Smile!».

This place is the bomb! We’ve been going since opening night and it’s only gotten better. New Yorkers agree, this is the best pizza this side of New York! It’s a little greasy at times, but still an awesome slice of pizza. Love the pepperoni and white pizza.
