Sears Auto Center

I had my brake rotors and pads replaced by Sears Auto. Upon completion, I immediately started having problems with vibration when applying the brakes and steering wheel vibration. I took the car back for inspection of these problems and the technician at Sears Auto said he didn’t find anything wrong, but recommended an allignment. I was still under warranty for a previous allignment by Sears Auto, so they «corrected» the allignment. I still have vibration when braking. Sears Auto has not corrected these problems.

I like this place. They have reasonable prices I’m keep doing my car services her for almost a year now and I didn’t have any problem so far. I recommend to try this location for your car.

Be aware that when you see the price for tires online that it will be different when you go in.
I recently purchased tires from Sears and now am not sure I got the best deal. I picked the tires on the Sears website and looked at the «sub total» I understand that this does not include sales tax but it seamed to include everything else. When I went to get the tires installed they quoted me almost $ 200 more then the site said. When I asked why they said the website doesn’t include valve stems, I’m still not sure if they need to be replaced or not. My car has tpms and they are 11.99 per tire, they said if i don’t get them they have to notate the account like something bad will happen, they also try to add in some road hazard thing for $ 70. I went without.
I decide to buy and ask how long it will take she says no more that an hour. I take a walk through the mall and around the parking lot look at a few things and go back after 45 minutes and see me car still sitting in the same spot without new tires. I go in and ask if it will take still another hour and she says no and disappeared. I waited another 50 min to finally have my car finished.
Tires are good, just not the best experience. Maybe next time ill go to the tire store.

Not a good experience. They had an easy task with my vehicle. A simple Oil Change is all I needed. Made an appointment. Host said it would take an hour. With an appointment? Fine, my two young kids and I will go in the store for a little while. We are in the store a bit longer than expected and kids get hungry. We go back to the auto center «2» hours later. We find out our car hasn’t been touched yet. I asked what’s happening with my car and that I had made an appointment for what? They said they will get to it as soon as possible.
Needless to say after a few minutes decided to take back my keys and take my business elsewhere. Not expecting to return for any vehicle services in anyway.

The prices for tires are more expensive than anyone else. I went to my car dealership and saved more money.

My husband and I were out here camping and our tier blow out on the road. Needless to say it put a damper on our trip, but Carol made it all better. She got new tiers and an alignment on our car quick and we got a good price with 12 months no interest.

Horrible Horrible SERVICE!!! went to replace my tires and they damage something else! The general manager By the last name Macias Has no people skills what so over! I don’t know how someone with horrible service can have a manager title! I am very disappointment with sears auto center in Palmdale. They definitely lost my business and trust!

I bought a Gold Die Hard at $ 165. It wasn’t large enough to start my classic car. The manager would not allow me to return or exchange the battery. The salesman told me that Sears is moving in a different direction.
The battery they sold me for the car was rated at 640 CCA. The car requires over 850 CCA. I will never buy another battery or anything else from Sears auto centers again… EVER!!!

Quick, quality work at over a third less of the dealer price. When AV Ford did not have the parts or the time to repair my Mustang, these guys did. Last summer, my AC stopped working, but Sears quickly determined it was just a broken hose, that they then replaced and total cost with diagnostic was only $ 138, WAY below what the dealer was going to charge. Compared to the high-​priced, over-​priced dealers and the low budget garages, you get tremendous value and quality at this Sears Auto Center. Plus, they honor the best car battery warranty in the business, no questions, and easy same as cash financing with a Sears Card too!

They were just supposed to rotate the tires and what not. Drove to the other side of the mall and heard a loud clanking sound coming from one of the tires…
They left a sledgehammer in the wheel well! :/​Got myself a new hammer.
…These geniuses are probably still looking for it haha.

Best sears auto center I will only go to, When I had an issue the sales manager comped me on my next service, and I’m not talking about the low ball basic oil change. He made things right, the service writers are courteous and don’t try to scare me into unnecessary service, if anything is discovered they lay it out plain and simple take it or leave it as it should be.

Here is what we are going to do. We will take an appointment for oil change, but when it comes to replacing your brakes it is 1^st come 1^st serve. You can call and they will say of you get there by 6 – 6:30 you will be fine but when you show up… «oh I’m sorry you are SoL. Sorry mate»
Wanted to give 1 Star but they do do good work. Just dumb you can’t make a friggin appt when you are desperate for one.
