Robertson’s Palmdale Honda Service Center

It’s a great Honda dealership but, their autoparts service is horrible. They never anwers their calls. They will put you on hold for about 15 minutes. Don’t waste your time. Try a different location. Time is valuable.

Had some service issues on our CR-​V. Got the pleasure of dealing with Wes in service. One part had to be ordered. They completed the work they could & when the part arrived, they immediately called to schedule me in. Not only was my car completed ahead of schedule both days, they even washed it! Thanks Wes.

Just got serviced and taken care of by Larry. He was very nice and polite I recommend get serviced by him. Other than the wait everything went well and got a free car wash. Will be back when looking at cars.

The parts man Scott was so rude to me when I was trying to return a part I didn’t need, he kept saying that I was stealing! Also the service woman tried to charge me for a tire rotation; I said that was impossible because my wheels had a wheel lock on them. Overall this dealership is one to ignore. You’re better off going to the lancaster dealership.

I have personally had nothing but bad experience after bad experience at this Honda Dealership. From the moment they brought my car back from being washed so i could take it home clean (as they do with every new car) there was a huge scratch on the roof (that wasn’t there when i inspected with the salesperson, before it went to get washed. I immediately pointed this out to my sales rep and she immediately started apologizing and telling me what she was going to do to get it fixed.
She had someone drive out to my house (which is about ¹¹⁄₂ hours away) pick up my car, dropped me off a rental car, and took it back to the dealership to get fixed. I know what you are thinking how could that be a bad experience? They made a mistake and they did what they could to fix it. But that’s not the end of the story, i had, had my car at my house for about a week before they came and picked it up and as many people do, i didn’t eat or drink anything in it as i was afraid to spill. Well when they brought my car back the kid driving (yes they had a kid who liked he was in a punk band and what appeared to be his girlfriend) had a monster energy drink in my cup holder. Well as i inspected my car before he left i looked in that cup holder, he had spilled, it was all sticky and so was my shifter and the center console. Needless to say i was furious. I got on the phone with the salesperson as soon as i calmed down and explained the situation, she followed up by saying she was very sorry and she would give me a free tank of gas next time i was out there (i live ¹¹⁄₂ hours away don’t go out there to often or ever)
Three years later same car, i washing it one night and noticed that the roof was turning yellow. I called the salesperson i bought it from and she told me quite matter of factly «that’s maintenance’s problem, I’m not maintenance, i sell cars, let me transfer you to them» that Grade A customer appreciation if i have ever heard it NOT!!! Anyway i get on the phone with the service manager and he tells me that he will get it fixed awesome right. The saga continues… He offers to have someone drive up to my house and pick up my car uuuuuhhhhhhhh nope not going through that again thank you, keep going… I let him know i will drive it down there and he says ok he will get me a rental car for the duration of the re-​painting (which the body shop admitted fault on saying it was a clear coat issue they had back then and they were fixing it for free).
After all of this hassle i ask the service manger bluntly, so what i am i getting as compensation for this inconvenience caused by Honda? He then tells me, «my offer to you was to have someone come pick it up from your house, as far as i am concerned you are not entitled to anything more other than getting the roof fixed». This was post him knowing about the incident Ive already had doing things that way. He then followed by telling me that any compensation i was looking to get i would have to take up with the auto body shop as they are the ones who screwed up. WRONG again, business 101 my contract is with Honda there subcontract is with the auto body shop i take my issues up with whom i have a contract with, if they so please they can then pursue reimbursement through who they have a subcontract with. AKA i didn’t pick that body shop to do the work if it were me i would’ve picked one way closer to my house. After getting him to understand this he then compensated me pretty fairly (with a bit of a heated negotiation) but still i feel taken care of.
The above was written on 8÷26÷2011 today is 8÷30÷2011, i have yet to publish this review as my car is still at Robertsons Palmdale Honda where i dropped it of on 8÷25÷2011 @ 7:30am. Since 8÷25÷2011 not one person from this place has called to give me a status update on my car, which the service manager told me the body shop was going to have done by Friday 8÷26÷2011 afternoon. I have been calling and calling trying to talk to this service manager since that Friday to no avail. Turns out he went on vacation all last weekend and Monday decided to not come in either. Today is Tuesday 8÷30÷2011 @ 2PM and i have still not received a phone call from anyone at the dealership. I am incurring $ 15 a day for the insurance on my rental car, which may not sound like much (which is why i took it in the first place thinking o it ll be done tomorrow or worst case Saturday that’s $ 30-​$ 45 better be safe than sorry right) well right now i am up to $ 90 and counting. This saga just keeps getting worse and worse and is costing me more and more.
I ended up recieving a phone call on 8÷30÷2011 from the service manager at Robertsons at 3:45PM, he left me a voicemail saying my car was done atnd that they close at
I can honestly say i will NEVER EVER EVER buy another car from there EVER again. Nor will i EVER let anyone i know or even hear of thinking buy a car there do it. This is the dealership from _​_​_​_​_​ill let you fill in the bl

My favorite service advisor is Javier is by far the BEST service advisor in the Honda world. For example, the last time I was there they offered me a carwash ($ 13.99) while I waited anyways for the oil change/​new tires to be put on… (by the way their clean shuttle took me to the mall while I waited)…
I was going to go get my car washed at the carwash place anyways and why not have it done here… saved me time and my car looked and smelled new after.
I have been to the «other» dealers and shops and Robertson’s Honda takes the cake.

I’ve been coming here for service since I moved to the Antelope Valley. Their prices are good for dealer service.
I recently purchased a 2014 accord sport here and the experience was relatively fast. My sales person, Jose, was knowledgeable about the car’s features and available finance options. They’ve followed up with me several times just to make sure I’m satisfied with the vehicle. Overall good experience.

I’very been a customer for over 3 years; my car had only 40,000 miles when I moved to Palmdale. The service was fine until I got to about 70,000 miles and then the «suggestions» developed. My last visit I was told my battery was going to go dea at any time; however, when I took it to get bench tested elsewhere, it was tested twice at 100%! This happened to other people I knew as well. The exception is… if you buy a battery from Honda as opposed to an store, then they won’t heckler you about your battery. My wife has a Honda battery and has had her car as long as I have but oddly enough, mine was tested poor? Seems shady to me. Now I’m wondering if the other recommendations they gave me were valid.

I was a returning customer here, so automatically assumed I’d get good service. Meh. Bought my 03 civic here and came back for a family vehicle– the CRV. The salesman was nice enough, but didn’t know enough about the car. He sold me Magic on it and told me the key had to be in the ignition before hitting the magic key– yeah, no it does not. There were other things he told me which were wrong when I read the manual.
The main reason for 3 stars was the manager there trying to nickel and dime me to the end. I had 6 grand to put down and he tries to give me a car payment of almost 500. Are you kidding me? I have A paper credit. I told him it wasn’t going to work so off he went to run more numbers. Came back again too high. Its funny how a car has a sticker price but then they have all these ‘add ons’ that they «can’t take off». Yet when you tell them you’re firm in not wanting them and that they will lose a customer, the add ons magically come off!
Told him I wasn’t budging on his new price and if he wasn’t going to work with me I’d walk cause I still have a working car. I was fuming at this point, about to lose my cool. I’m sorry but you just don’t try to nickel and dime a new family. My husband and I were there with our 5 month old. He walked off and came back with the final number. We finally shook hands and had a deal. I was very happy to get the 1.9% interest rate like I had with my last car. However he still left a bad taste in my mouth and I was livid the rest of the night.
The CRV itself is amazing. I love driving it. They lost a customer though– I will never be back there to do business with them due to the unprofessional way the manager handles A paper customers.

Awesome place! I had to go there when I accidentally my whole car! Jr. Helped my fix it! Cool guy who doesn’t afraid of anything!

they helped me so much here,
i live in san fernando valley and to get a timing belt changed everywhere wants $ 1000 plus to do it,
where as i supplied the belt ($ 50) and they did the timing belt and water pump for about $ 350 (lifesavers) this is why they call them helpful honda people LOL
but seriously
RPH is the best, way superb to valley (818) honda dealerships (stealerships).
this is why i will continue to bring my honda’s to here for repairs.
