I checked the reviews after I already picked my color and sat down. I was nervous… but walked away pleasantly surprised, Tammy did my pedicure and she was as sweet as can be. The color I picked out didn’t come out that great on my toes but Tammy took it upon herself to get a better nail polish similar to what I picked out and repainted my toes. I’ll def go back to Tammy, the pedicure was reasonable and my toes look great. Only con was that the chair didn’t work that great.

Let me first say that you can completely tell that they have a new owner and all the old staff left. I get there sign in and the guy in charge who I also believe is also the only one that speaks English puts me in a chair. However he has his 2 associates start on the couple that came after me. Now I understand why. The lady that did my pedicure didn’t speak or understand English. She started on my feet without asking what service I wanted. Then she put the callous remover inside of a cut she gave me. I asked her to wash it off she clearly didn’t understand english. I had to scream for the 1 guy who only speaks English. On top of it I had just got a coffee next door at butlers she dumped it before I had a sip half in the chair half in my water. By no means did she bother to move me to a different chair. After getting my skin burned, 5.00 cup a coffee wasted I was offered 5.00 off. I asked for a design and apparently no one understood that in english. Oh and they had the audacity to ask if I wanted a fill on my nails when I literally had just walked from Michael Anthony Salon a few doors down from getting a back fill. I said what exact are you going to fill on a brand new set of nails that are barely dry. Then she wanted to wax my eyebrows that I had also just got done at the benefit bar in Macy’s who do amazing work

They did a great job on my pedicure. The massage chairs are amazing when they are working. Although a little pricy, overall it was a nice experience.

Paid a lot of money for poor quality of work. I got a full set and within 5 days my nails started lifting and I ended up losing a nail, not break but the nail lifted completely off in one piece. I had requested a manicure (which I was going to pay for) prior to my full set because I had really bad cuticles and extra skin interferes with proper adhesion of the acrylic product to the nail bed but Bill said he would take care of them. He didn’t remove anything just went over once with the drill. I had pointed out were I could still see skin but he ignored me. I decided to give this place a second chance so about ten days later I went back for a manicure and pedicure. I knew my cuticles were the major culprit for my acrylics lifting. I figure if they can do my mani and pedi properly then I would come for the full and nail repair. Bill did my manicure. He never once pushed my cuticles back, he only trimmed my hang nails. I kept asking him to push them back because I don’t want my acrylics to lift after the fill. Only thing he kept telling was I needed a fill and nail repair. I finally had to get stern and say either you do a manicure or I go some where else. He did give me a good arm massage but honestly I would have rather skip the massage and had my cuticles attended to properly.
My pedicure was decent. I got a callus remover and the calluses were mediocrely treated. Massage was good. I got a gel polish on my toes and it lasted about 8 days before it started lifting and peeling. Normally the polish last me a good 14 – 20 days before it lifts. I’ve spent a couple hundred dollars here and I highly doubt I will be back.

Crappiest service ever received. I will never come back to this place. Lady cut my toe making it bleed due to rushing my pedicure and it didn’t even bother her, pedicure was done in less the 10 minutes and the paint job was so bad !

I like the ladies at happy nails & the gentlemen too! They make you very comfortable as they’re working on your nails! I like the owners little dog that’s there sometimes. Such a cute boy. Makes you have a little entertainment while you’re there! Everything is new & very clean!

I have been coming here for over two years. 17 months ago it change owners and I tell you this is the best spa I’ve been to. Judy is the owner and one of the sweetest and more professional people I’ve ever dealt with. I use Vince for my nails and pedicures, he’s the greatest… I love love love this place.

Oh my! Where do I begin!
When I walked in I was the ONLY person in this massive salon… this should have been a clue. I asked for a simple eyebrow wax and was quickly sucked into a mani/​pedi. It happens :)
They were quick to help me. The pedicure lady did a FANTASTIC job, seriously. I think she has a poor review from an earlier poster, but she did a great job on my toes!
The second lady who helped me… young, quick, and careless. She starts cutting away some callous’ on my fingers (I guess) and keeps cutting, and cutting, and cutting… I’M BLEEDING LADY! Do you think you got it? She poured some horrible blue liquid on my finger and stuck cotton on it. I walked out still bleeding.
This same, quick, careless, and young woman took me to the back to get my eyebrows done. Still hurrying as she put the wax on my brows… she DRIPPED HOT WAX on my eyelid!!! Praise God my eye wasn’t open. She rubbed a cotton ball all over my eye (removing all the mascara I had on) looks at the blackened cotton ball and says, ‘oh, those weren’t fake’ or something… (maybe I like to wear a lot of mascara). So, I’m a baby and trying to hold back tears, but this friggen woman just spilled hot wax on my vulnerable eye!!! I get up as she’s finished and go to the bathroom to try and gather myself from the bleeding thumb and waxed eye I now have.
Checked myself out in the mirror. I must say, my brows were looking good!
I was surprised as this lady rang me up – charged me FULL PRICE for cutting and burning me. Really? Cool.
Maybe today wasn’t her day. Or maybe she needs to SLOW DOWN!!! Stop being so careless with hot wax and your clippers!!!

Came here last week with my mom to get a pedicure from Lee and Vicente they did a great job. when in today with my mom grandma and the manager had bad costumer service she was very rude she did my grandma nails and didn’t even put on quick dry and just a sloppy job. My mom got a girl name Amy and did a horrible job I got and older guy asked for pink and white and he put them on crooked and I try to tell him they don’t look right he got mad but I can honestly say I will not go back there and will definitely not recommended this place most horrible experience I’ve every had.

The fact that it was empty when it’s the only one open on a Sunday should have tipped me off. The guy at the counter barely even acknowledged me when I walked in and somehow convinced me to get both mani and pedi done. The pedicure hurt for one. My skin looks like it’s been chewed on and the lady just slopped on the clear coat, which now has lumps in it and doesn’t even cover the whole of my nails. I’m going to have to go home and fix my shredded skin and sloppy clear coat. Then she asks if I want a design… um no thanks.
I came in to have my nails look better than before. I don’t even want to tell anyone I got them done it looks disgusting. I should have just done it myself. Luckily I am a nice person and still tipped them because I know what it’s like to do dirty jobs. Try being a dental assistant for 8 years and getting blood and saliva spattered all over you. Not to mention being exposed to HIV and hepatitis. Don’t bother going here they don’t want your business.

Been here 3 times. The first two times it was just ok. The first time the lady who did my nails filed my fingers too, leaving cuts. I waited a while to go back and the only reason I did is because it’s so close to my house. I went on a Saturday and there was only one other person getting a pedicure. Almost the entire staff was sitting on the couch huddled together looking at their phones. I sat down for my fill with Amy. I had been wanting slight coffin shaped nails for a while and other places I went just couldn’t get it right. Amy took a quick glance at the picture I showed her of the shape I wanted and went to town. I was nervous but she delivered EXACTLY what I asked for. They look great and I will be going back to her. Thanks Amy.

Clean and pretty salon. Second time coming here and had my acrylic nails filled and eyebrows done by Linda! She took her time doing my nails and brows and perfecting them, not to mention how kind she is! I was greeted as soon as I walked in. If you need a place in the AV to get great nails, come here and goto Linda! You will leave satisfied.

I have no IDEA what the other people are complaining about! I’ve had nothing but GREAT experiences here! Michael does amazing work and I’ve NEVER had a bad pedicure! ! Their waxing is also great! ! The owner is amazing and they back up their work! ! I’ve been going here for about 2 years and won’t go anywhere else!

Don’t come here, this place cut me and acted like nothing, the pedicure was not relaxing and I paid extra for the massage and that was a joke. Never coming back here and might need to put antibiotic cream on my toe so it doesn’t get infected. Very disappointed.

I’ve been to this particular location twice and both times I received horrible service!!! The first vist was in March of this year and the second was about a week ago in late August. The march trip was my first time at the Palmdale spa and the staff was rude. My sister and I received mani/​pedi as a treat to my sister for her birthday. We did not have an appointment but we were seen quickly which was a pro. Once we were in the chairs we were not greeted, rushed and came out with what could have been done at home. My second experience was worst. This time I was greeted nicely so I brought my 5-​year-​old daughter along for a polish change on her hands & feet. Instead I was told that is the same as s child’s mani/​pedi where I paid $ 25. I also chose a $ 35 mani/​pedi (which is a bit pricey compared to nail salons in the LA area but I’m assuming it has something to do with the fact that this salon is towards the «nicer» area of the AV). in hopes of ending our girls day out w/​a little relaxation and pampering. Instead my toes were hacked away at causing them to bleed incessantly. My fingers were snatched and pulled as if the manicurist was upset. I had to ask if she was in a rush. She did not answer just smiled and continued poking at my cuticles! The upside was that the woman who worked on my daughter was delightful & she enjoyed our visit. I however was a very unhappy mommy! Oh, and to add. Our polish began to chip by Tuesday and we had them done on Saturday! :(
I’m not sure what the problem was but as I watched the staff interact w/​other «regulars» they seemed the opposite; quite attentive & courteous. Bottom line: If you want great service, pull up in a Benz and with a fancy designer bag on your arm.

Extremely happy with the service I received at Happy Nails! Not sure if it was because there was only 2 other customers besides me there but they really took their time to cater to my nails. Really clean place which is very important to me! They have a movie playing as well which was a plus! Very nice people. Well deserved tip. I usually go to Sunny’s on 47^th St East but rather pay the an extra $ 10 and come here instead! (Get manicure = $ 30) (Acrylic fill = $ 18)

I normally do my own nails at home but every now and then i like to get them done for a proper clean up. And honestly sometimes a girl just needs to pamper herself. i’m used to paying $ 17 for a mani/​pedi in the east la area. However, those arent the nice spa places like this one. Now i realize why there are drastic price differences.
Maybe people can afford these nice spa mani/​pedi every two weeks, but I would say this is the kind of place you go to when you want to splurge on yourself.
I just went in for a pedi and their basic pedi is $ 20. Of course i got talked into getting the next package after that which is $ 30. But it was totally worth it. I would consider doing it at least once a month to keep these feet looking pretty!
I will post a picture of the packages for price and package details. But this place is nice, clean, quiet, and you get to sit in comfy massage chairs which you can control the entire time. I walked in on a friday morning and it was not busy at all. Tina was nice, took her time, and she said it gets busy on evenings after work. So you may have to make an appointment if you’re considering going after work!
