Clark & Howard Towing

they took everything worth money and lied to me. the owner Mickey had at least five different stories on why my stuff was not there. the only reason my motorcycles were still there was because they have VIN numbers. after being lectured by Mickey on why the storage fee was so high (over 3,000) and how they cant negotiate that price because of their contract with the CHP… he really tried to make a deal with me and only charge half price to get my dirt bike out. What a dirt bag! so you cant deal, then you make me an offer? im thinking he already got paid by my insurance and now he is trying to get more from me. after talking with my insurance, they also mentioned how Clark and Howard were very difficult to work with. i also found out that they had my dirt bike hidden from the insurance adjuster! Crooked Crooked business! i refused to pay the fees due to my bike might only be worth $ 1500.00.

Horrible Service and horrible attitude, I wanted to pick up a truck that got towed here and when o called the owner or worker whoever it’s the one that answer the phone, I got a very rude person telling me «argh do you know it’s gonna cost you $ this much right ?» I’m like yeah no worries I will pay every dime ’ he reply I will be there in 5 min, guess what after 1 hour he showed up and with a such a bad temper and attitude, not recommended at all.

OK so I lent my car to a friend Friday night to go to McDonald’s two blocks up the street and he ends up getting it impounded. When I was finally able to get it back today, which is now wednesday, it has a broken back passenger window and aprox. $ 20 in bills and $ 5 or $ 6 in change is missing. They kept my car from me for six days racking up the storage fees because nobody was available to release it to me. Although they advertise that they are open 24 hours a day. When I called to complain they told me if I drove it off their lot then any damage is not their responsibility. On top of that they charged me for them putting a lien on my car even though the law states they must wait a week before starting a lien. They did this because its a BMW and they were hoping they could rack up enough fees that i may not be able to get it out for 30 days and they would get to keep it. What kind of bull shit is that? I understand that it was my fault the car was impounded since I lent it to someone that had an expired license. Therefore I never raised my voice or spoke to the thieving bastards disrespectfully in any kind of way what so ever, even tho their office was rude and obviously keeping my car from me just to put more money in their grubby ass hands. I am so pissed right now that they are able to get away with this behavior. Is there anything I can do to hold these people responsible for their actions? Or do I just have to suck it up and let them away with it? They are nothing but a bunch of punk ass bitches preying on people already in bad spot for getting their car impounded. That’s right I said PUNK ASS BITCHES everyone one of u THAT CAN KISS MY ASS!

They are thieves and liars! My little red kia was wrecked and towed to Clark & Howard towing Palmdale. My husband was told he couldn’t take anything off my car until the insurance adjuster came. So my husband emptyed my car out and left my red crystal blingy license plate frames on the car. The employee was ALS rude to my husband.
Oh wait we are customers! Being rude isn’t customer service!
MY CAR, was towed to the long term Clark & Howards tow yard in Lancaster and we went to remove MY RED CRYSTAL LICENSE PLATE FRAMES from MY CAR plus my hitch and guess what they where REMOVED FROM MY CAR! The workers at Ckark & Howards are thieves.
I lost so very much in this accident then the employees at CLARK & HOWARDS steal my things from my car.
I will never talk nice about this towing company the frames cost me $ 100. Don’t you think «the car can’t have anything removed from it,» also includes employees of CLARK & HOWARDS. I ve had no help from there office or no return call from anyone except Dustin. He said maybe your insurance adjuster took them. Oh sure!

Dirty rotten scoundrels! They’ll screw their own brother over to make a buck. I was charged $ 400 after they made the mistake of first bringing the wrong tow truck, then getting another tow truck which was also the wrong truck and got stuck, then they finally got a tractor which got lost on the way over to the location.
Ouch. My employer won’t even talk to me any more. Thanks for nothing.
Avoid at all costs. I’m sure there are other, more honest, tow companies in Palmdale and Lancaster.
