Bought a couple pairs of sunglasses here on our last trip to Palm Springs. Walked in this shop today, only to be treated poorly by the sales lady… So rude. Will be taking our money elsewhere!

I don’t buy new sunglasses often, but when I do I like to buy from small, locally-owned shops like this. The gentleman who helped me, Chris, was very knowledgable and offered some great alternatives to what I was looking for. Prices are Mid to high end. I ended up settling on a cheaper pair of Ray Bans(~$ 150 after tax), but they have a great variety of frames and styles to choose from. Overall, great experience. Good selection and very friendly staff.

Great selection, and a very helpful, knowledgeable staff! And more reasonably priced than the sunglass chain stores. I’ve purchases my last four pair of Ray Bans from Sunglasses of Palm Springs. I work in construction, so the lenses tend to get scratched often.(Note to self: Take sunglasses off top of head while working. lol) When I went in to buy my fifth pair, the person working there informed me I didn’t have to buy a new pair, and that I could buy replacement lenses for a fraction of the cost. Duh… I hadn’t thought of asking that before? Since them, I’ve taken three pairs in for new lenses, so I have back ups in case I need them. Why only three pairs, you ask, when I originally said I had four? It’s because someone else also loves that style of Ray Bans, and stole them while I was working. I hope that pair still had scratches on it. Lol

So, I was wandering downtown Palm Springs and saw a very nice display of sunglasses at Sunglasses of Palm Springs. I decided to walk in and have a quick look. You know how this works — «just looking» turns into«just trying a few on» to «just buying a pair.» I liked the excellent selection of quality shades as well as a helpful staff(yes, I know they are helpful to sell product…) I purchased a very nice pair of metal-framed, polarized Ray-Ban sunglass for $ 195(same price as Amazon.) BTW, I love Amazon, but I also love local business and don’t mind paying a bit more for the ability to try on, ask questions and select exactly what I want(keep in mind, I paid the same as Amazon in the end.) Sunglasses of Palm Springs is a very nice shop with a helpful staff and high quality products. I liked the place so much, I sent my 16 year-old son back with grandma a few days later to buy a pair of Wayfarers for his early birthday present. 5 stars!

So we’re here on vacation just happened to walk in and was greeted by a lady and a gentleman. They help us pick out a pair of Ray Ban glass. No pressure to buy and help us pick out a great pair they even let us go outside with a mirror. Great costumer service and very attentive to the glasses we wanted. I highly recommend if you need a great pair of sunglasses and your on Palm Springs stop by you wont regret it.

Was in this store today and found a pair of RayBans I really liked. They were 195.00. Looked them up on line and Amazon had them for 127. When I mentioned this to the sales lady she got really shitty with me and told me they come in different sizes. When I asked her what sizes they came in she told me that info was worth money. I told her to go F*** herself and left. Just ordered them on Amazon Prime and they will be here in 2 days for 127.

Great mid to high end shop. There’s a well rounded selection of new & hip with the vintage and cool. The service is exceptional. My boyfriend and I stopped in because a screw had fallen out and been lost from a pair of vintage rayban’s. The owner understands top notch service and we will go back when in Palm Springs. Thank you for your generous time.

I love to support local businesses. The shop was quite busy, but the owner did a great job serving more than five groups standing at the counters wanting to try on glasses. Our service was quick, friendly and efficient.

This sunglasses store definitely has a variety. Like many stops in downtown Palm Springs this store feels like it was built in the 80s — with the original staff still running it. Ok that doesn’t sound very nice. Sunglasses Palm Springs is a great location — smack dab in downtown. It also has a decent variety if you forgot your shades at home or simply want to upgrade while you roam the sunny streets of this vacation town.

Great service. The lady behind the sunglasses counter was really helpful and this place has a variety of sunglasses to choose from. They also have some hats with funny sayings on them.
