PS Smog

Pretty simple process… Drive in, go to the office, give them your registration renewal form, wait 10 – 15 minutes… and you’re done… But, be prepared to pay more if you have an older vehicle (pre-​1996). I brought in an older vehicle and the total fee for passing the smog check was $ 70. You definitely pay for the convenience for a quick smog check at PS Smog… Also, California needs to revamp their smog check system to get these fees lower…

Been using PS Smog for my smog checks since I moved to Palm Springs 5 years ago, and have never had a problem with them at all. Just had to have my car smogged once again, so went in yesterday and as soon as I pulled into the parking lot the tech was there wanting for my keys and by the time I went inside to fill out the paperwork, he had already had my car inside the garage and It was half way done by the time I was finished with the paperwork. I must have been in and out in less then 15 mins. Love this place… oh and the have a great waiting room with great A/​C for those hot days.

Helpful n friendly. Quick in n out for smog checks. Appt not needed. Experienced n professional. Good ampunt of seating for waiting in the lobby… high recommend. Bilingual. Close to other businesses.

This place was very accomodating but what a waste of time and money because I failed the smog test and they dont repair. Should’ve gone to a Smog Check Repair Station.

I was very pleased with this place! 2 years later and I’m going back I hope all the same people are there, they took such good care of my truck and I see you in a few weeks!

$ 60 with cert. in and out in 15 minutes. What more do you want. Prompt, reliable, hate having to get this done, but they made it easy.

Talk about customer service! Excellent customer service skills & professionalism in every sense of the word. The two smiling women greeted me as I got off of my truck, one opened the door (I am handicapped & so appreciated this courtesy), the other asked for my keys! All I had to do was have a seat in the cool waiting room & watch the news. 15 minutes later the cashier called me over & stated my truck passed (She’s a 1999 flareside Ford)! I am a 65 yr old woman & have been to countless smog stations but never one like this! I will not go anywhere else!!!

Service was quick, was in and out in maybe 15 — 20 minutes. I have not smogged a car in years because I do short term leases or keep the car less than two years but seemed a bit expensive, but the drive in and out quickness was worth it.

After trying to go to another smog place I needed up at PS Smog. Boy am I glad I went here. They were so helpful and sweet to my daughter not to mention quick! We were in and out in 15 – 20 minutes. I will definitely recommend them to others!

Wish I had gone here to get my other car smogged. Would’ve save so much time and hassle. Service is wickedly fast — had a two-​ton truck smogged and done in less than 15 minutes. I’ll definitely back when it’s time to smog the other car.
Waiting room is nice and air-​conditioned too, which is crucial in the infernally hot desert.

FAST! Clean and spotless business, nice waiting area, we were in and out in 15 minutes. No problems here. We’ll be back and we love the Saturday hours.

Horrible!!! I got and PASSED my smog check with them in JULY. They FAILED to send it to the DMV (required by law no?)
I have called several times over the last month, and spoke with Vanessa. I was told that they do not keep their records electronically… WHAT? Then how DO you document and How does it go electronically to the DMV?
So, they cannot find it, or do not have it. «Are you sure you came here?» and «How do you know the date you were here?» Well, that’s because I wrote it down, I am a business person, and need to keep track of things. Yes, I have my credit card receipt too.
REALLY??? Next time, I leave the desert to get things done. This is getting ridiculous!
Oh, and by the way, an officer’s time was wasted at night on a dangerous freeway to give me a fix-​it ticket because P. S. Smog DID NOT DO THEIR JOB.
NEVER AGAIN!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Saturday hours, love it! They have fast & accurate service. Every time I need a smog I take to them because they are the best in Palm Springs.

In and out in 10 minutes. This was great. I got there right when they opened. I parked, a man came and got my keys and sent me inside. I was there for maybe 20 minutes…
The lady at the counter was very friendly.

My old car just passed. They were very quick, had a nice waiting area and were very pleasant.
$ 60 for test and cert., but they have a coupon for $ 47 + $ 8 cert. on their web site.

We got our smog checked and it took 5 mins… They were fast: p
