POSH Palm Springs Inn was extensive renovated in 2009 by the previous owners and then updated and refreshed in December 2013 when Tony and Santo took over ownership and operations.

Business Owner

Tony and Santo, owners of POSH Palm Springs, invite you to enjoy their recently renovated 1930’s Art Deco architectural gem. Partnered for over 15 years, our lives have taken us from our birthplaces in Indiana and Massachusetts to the San Francisco bay area then San Diego and now Palm Springs! Tony’s career had been rooted in chemical research in the biotech industry while Santo has both corporate and small business experience in accounting.

During the course of our lives we have always enjoyed being hosts to our friends and family in our home and wanted to take the experience to the next level. After having experienced the friendly, vibrant atmosphere of small inns across the country as well as internationally, we wanted to create that same experience for our guests. My guy and I stayed here this weekend in order to go to Splash House down the way. It was quiet, super clean, plush, and Tony and Santo provided excellent service. Best parts: the superior cleanliness of every inch of that room, the no-​kids policy, the fresh breakfast, and the complimentary water bottles (because it’s Palm Springs, and water at SplashHouse is expensive). Would def stay again!

My boyfriend and I just had a blissful weekend in Palm Springs, where we stayed at POSH. This bed & breakfast style motel was really wonderful.
We arrived late in the evening, but Tony was so kind to stay up late so he could personally greet us. He was really nice and gave us a full tour of the facility and escorted us directly to our room. We absolutely loved this check-​in experience.
Our room was nicely decorated and clean, complete with a mini bar area which had an empty mini refrigerator so we could store food/​drink (they supplied 2 water bottles), a Keurig with coffee and tea, and snacks (Jelly Beans and Peanuts, YUM!) The bed was massive and the shower had great water pressure.
We absolutely LOVED that Tony and Santo served up a delicious homemade breakfast every morning (while we were there we enjoyed strata with pesto & sun dried tomatoes with sausage links, a mini muffin, and cantaloupe on Saturday, and a french toast soufflé, with bacon and sliced apples this morning, Sunday) and included coffee, tea, juice, or iced tea and lemonade. In the afternoons from 4 – 5 they offered a «Happy Hour» in the courtyard where chips and guacamole were served as well as cocktails; we enjoyed Tony’s special POSH blended martini, which was so refreshing for such a warm day. We also appreciated that they kept the iced tea, lemonade and coffee available in the «dining area» for most of the day and that we could help ourselves to additional water bottles. These small touches really meant a lot and made the experience really wonderful.
There were a couple of cons to our stay; all of the rooms face a courtyard where the pool is, which has purple and blue lights that stay on all night, which unfortunately lit up our room quite a bit, making it a little tough to sleep. Even with the blinds completely shut and curtains closed, the light crept in anyway. Also, although the mattress was for the most part, comfortable, it was worn in quite a bit with the center of the mattress higher than the sides which made it a little uncomfortable for sleeping, but wasn’t a huge deal.
Overall, we really enjoyed the relaxed welcoming vibe of POSH and we look forward to staying here again in the future. Thanks Tony for making us feel so welcome in your B&B.

An Indepently-​Owned Find. Off, But Very Close to, the Beaten Path
A 4 night stay wasn’t enough! This place exemplifies true relaxation. Extremely clean, well appointed, comfortable rooms. The bed was perfect in every way. Soft pillows and bedding made for great sleep at night (and naps). Tony made a delicious breakfast for us every morning which consisted of some sort of homemade pancake, torta, french toast, etc. with a protein and fruit. Iced tea, lemonade, and coffee are served throughout the day and from 4pm-​5pm there is a complimentary happy hour. I recommend the signature POSH Martini, a yummy blended drink with orange, banana, rum, tequila and vodka. Yeah, it’s that good. Beer and wine are also an option along with some sort of interesting snack.
There are 9 rooms, each with a king sized bed. We stayed in #6 which is a suite with a full kitchen (there are 2 of these) which was really nice because we like to bring snacks. The standard rooms have a wet bar. We made lunch every day and dinner twice. You never have to leave POSH!
The rooms surround an immaculate courtyard with a sparkling pool and jacuzzi. It’s gorgeous during the day and lit up beautifully at night.
Tony, the owner, was on property every day and seemed really passionate about making his hotel the best experience for guests. He gave us stories about the history of the property, talked about the small weddings they have had on property, and seemed to really care about our needs and wants.
The hotel is a 4 – 5 minute drive in to the center of Downtown Palm Springs. We used Über and Lyft and it was the minimum rate each way.
This is a place to visit if you want a serene environment with the option of going out to very close restaurants, bars and shopping.
Other amenities include fast, free WiFi, bottled water available at all times, and peanuts and jelly beans in the rooms (you know that makes you smile!)
A big thank you to Tony and Santo for having us and providing the rest we deserved and needed! We’ll be back as soon as possible, and that won’t be soon enough!

My wife and I celebrated our 16th year anniversary here this weekend and it was fantastic. Please give this place a try… all the negative reviews were from the previous owners and should not reflect on the new establishment (Tony and Santo took over at the end of 2013). This place really deserves 5 stars across the board. Tony is genuinely an awesome individual with a unique background. Bridget and the others really sums up the details of this place in their reviews. In regards to the old A/​C units that used to «blow in your face», all the units have been upgraded to a silent state of the art heater and A/​C unit. They are also in the process of upgrading all the bathrooms as well. We were lucky enough to stay in one (room #8). There is just so much detail and thought put into this place. I could go on and on… but you will have to experience it yourself. Thanks Tony for everything.

I’m giving POSH Palm Springs 5 stars, because I had such a wonderful weekend. I have visited Palm Springs several times, but rarely spend the night. I chose POSH after reading the positive reviews and finding them on living social.
When you walk in, it feels like a hotel. The rooms are situated around a swimming pool. But it’s been renovated. The rooms were thoughtfully designed and decorated. The rooms are cozy, but provide enough room for one or two people. There are comfy robes in the closet along with a mini fridge and a Keurig coffee maker. There were a couple of cold bottles of water in the fridge and tasty welcome chocolates by the bed. I appreciate that kind of thoughtfulness and convenience!
In the morning, they served a fresh, hot breakfast along with juice and coffee. Tony was very kind and helpful. My friend and I were a little late to happy hour (4 – 5 pm), but we were each graciously served a glass of wine. The other guests were so interesting and everyone was warm and friendly. We sat around the fire pit and enjoyed each other’s company.

This is a beautifully restored 1930s hotel, small and quiet with only 10 rooms. Lovely pool and hot tub. Elegant comfortable rooms with refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, water and snacks, all complimentary. Cocktail hour with excellent martinis (or wine if you prefer). And a WONDERFUL breakfast (one day was blueberry pancakes, sausage and fruit). Tony is an excellent host (and cook). Can’t wait to go back.

I rarely write reviews — something has to be very bad or very good. First let list what’s bad: NOTHING!
This place is awesome. Rooms are immaculate. The whole property is immaculate. Swimming pool hot tub crystal clear. Bed comfortable. Host Tony pleasant and helpful. A gem based on that alone.
Bonuses: Cocktail hour with Tony’s special rum, tequila, vodka and fruit concoction. Yummy and about 60 proof I’d guess. Homemade appetizers provided.
A breakfast prepared for you in the morning.
Bottled water provided.
The extras make this place a bargain price wise too. I’ll be back.

Cool and quiet hotel for a quintessential Palm Springs getaway. Checked in Sunday– Tuesday with a Living Social deal. Immaculately clean rooms all facing pool in center courtyard. Only 1 other guest so it was extremely peaceful. Tony the owner and host is fabulous, he serves up a delicious home cooked breakfast every morning, and a happy hour beverage poolside in the afternoon. Free bottled water a nice touch. I’d highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet hideaway from the tourists.

I can not imagine a better 1st Palm Springs experience than staying at this hotel. It was absolutely perfect and we wish every hotel offered this level of service and hospitality.
I found out about Posh through one of their Living Social summer deals. It’s a 10-​room complex from the 1930s which is in excellent shape, providing a cozy, intimate environment and all of the comforts of a top hotel. 18 and over only. The walls are solid concrete, which means no neighbor noise. We stayed in room 10. Our room had brand new, stylish furnishings, a large, soft, comfy bed, a walk-​in closet space with a wet bar, Keurig machine, minifridge, and closet organizers, and a clean, modern bathroom. If I had one complaint, it would be that I wish there were blackout shades… the curtains didn’t keep out the sun that woke us up in the morning.
Tony and Santo, the owners, live on site. It was Tony’s dream to own and operate a bed and breakfast, and you can see the love and care he puts into his job in all of the tiny details. The room is fully stocked, from «Posh» embroidered plush robes to the cute little cups of peanuts and Jelly Belly beans left for each guest. There are water bottles, iced tea and lemonade out on the patio 24⁄7 for guests to help themselves to. I’m not used to not being charged at least $ 5 for water bottles, so it was so nice and refreshing not to be nickeled and dimed for everything like I would at a larger hotel.
Every morning, Tony and Santo cook homemade breakfast from 9 – 10 and serve it to all of the guests on the patio. This isn’t continental, it’s full-​service with tablecloths, table service, and a posted menu. On the first day, we enjoyed peach French toast soufflé, fruit, and sausage, and on the second day, we had AMAZING asparagus quiche, fresh blueberry muffins, bacon, and fruit. Far above restaurant quality. We brought champagne for mimosas and sat for hours, making friends with other guests. They also offer Happy Hour from 4 – 5, with complimentary beer, wine, or freshly blended Posh Martinis (delicious! try one!) which Tony brings out to the pool. He also made quesadillas and guacamole, which were wholeheartedly welcomed and appreciated by pool full of tipsy adults.
Posh isn’t directly in downtown, but walkable. We walked in for lunch once, and a liquor store with basic toiletries is across the main street. The fresh water pool is refreshing, and the salt water Jacuzzi is a wonderful place to relax with a cocktail. We felt completely at home and taken care of.
We had a wonderful time, made friends with all of the other guests at an impromptu, all-​day pool party, and this hotel helped us fall in love with Palm Springs and everything it has to offer. I can’t wait to go back!

This place is great! We got a Living Social deal for a great rate and just spent the weekend. There are only 9 rooms so the other guests were minimal. The complimentary breakfasts and happy hours were great! Tony and Santo are very friendly and take care of anything you need including helpful dinner suggestions. The inn is about 5 minutes driving from downtown. We drove to town each night for dinner. The area around the inn is very quiet, peaceful, and serene. There is also minimal noise from room-​to-​room. Most of the other guests were from the LA/​OC/​SD area when we were there. The guests were also a mixture of couples and friend pairs. There were complimentary bottled waters, snacks, & pool towels. Our room was literally steps from the pool and hot tub as are all of the rooms. I highly suggest this place for a relaxing weekend or if you need to be somewhere quiet near downtown!

Tony was absolutely amazing! He made me and my girlfriends feel right at home from the moment we checked in. The rooms are all decorated differently, (and the beds are so comfortable) and with the thoughtful in-​room extras like free bottled waters, peanuts, jelly beans and a Keurig AND with complimentary breakfast from 9−10am and free happy hour from 4−5pm, what is not to love about this place?! Will certainly stay here again!

If I could give this place more stars, I would! I have fallen in love with POSH. Tony the owner is an amazing guy. Never once said no to a request. Rooms are gorgeous, bed was absolutely the best bed I have ever slept on! And I have a pretty comfy bed at home. Happy hour is great! Breakfast was super yummy, pancakes bacon and fruit! I’m bummed I couldn’t stay here another couple of days. If you are looking for a relaxing beautiful place this is it! Oh and NO KIDS! This is an adults only inn. I am so grateful for this! Thank you POSH for an amazing birthday weekend!

Seriously — I prefer boutique hotels with a low capacity and no kids and this delivers with an affordable price and an amazing pair of owners that I am so honored to of met.

Amazing B&B! Definitely recommend for a romantic get away or a solo mini vaca like I did. The rooms are amazingly cute, clean, and roomy. Everything you need included. New owner Tony is a sweet heart, makes a delicious breakfast at 9am (perfect timing!) And cocktails with appetizers at 4. Located near downtown area, close to everything, bars, shopping, massage spots. Will definitely be back soon! Also enjoyed the adults only policy.

Absolutely fantastic! The owner’s are knowledgeable of the area, friendly, etc. Fresh breakfast made and served daily and complimentary happy hour.
More intimate than staying at a typical hotel. The Inn was fully booked during our stay, and we were surprised how quiet the rooms were! We couldn’t hear anyone on either side of our room, which was great.
Everything was clean, organized, and certainly exceeded our expectations. We will be back!

Perfect couples retreat! I was really impressed by the stellar service and the care taken by the owners to make our stay the best vacation experience possible. My husband and I checked in late on a Friday and were greeted by Tony for a warm welcome and quick tour of the premises. Since it was Valentines Day we found a red rose and small box of chocolates in our room (nice touch!) we were there for three nights and each morning the homemade complimentary breakfasts made specially for the guests by the owners were spectacular. The first day we had fresh fruit, mini muffins, spinach mushroom frittata and crispy bacon, the second day we had fruit smoothies, french toast soufflé and sausage, and on the third day we had baked apples, mini muffins, scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns.
The hotel is in a prime location close to the main strip of Palm Canyons Drive. The rooms are beautifully decorated and well maintained. All the other couples there that weekend were there for the same reasons as us, just wanted a relaxing getaway with some peace and quiet by the poolside. Many guests leave throughout the day to enjoy the activities around Palm Springs so at times it truly felt like we had the pool deck all to ourselves. The owners provide complimentary unlimited iced tea, lemonade, coffee and water, and also all the snacks in the room are free. So refreshing to not be charged for every little thing at a hotel! They also have a complimentary happy hour every evening.
The hotel is small — only ten guest rooms, but it has so much to offer. There’s a cold pool with plenty of lounge chairs all around, hot tub, cactus garden that attracts lots of humming birds, breakfast/​beverage area with lots of seating and a fire pit. I highly recommend Posh to anyone looking for a quiet romantic getaway.

We just returned home to San Diego after spending a totally delightful stay at POSH Palm Springs! It turns out that the Inn has just changed hands. We were greeted, and hosted fabulously, by the new owners, Tony and Santo. They clearly are excited and delighted to be Inn Keepers (coming from other professional backgrounds)… They were very friendly and accommodating — truly gracious hosts in every respect. In no time we simply felt that this was our new «home away from home».
We have been enjoying get-​aways in Palm Springs for 25 years, and have stayed in most of the major resorts plus one other place with a similar MO to POSH. Hands down, this place is our new «fav»!
Our room, while small, was clean and bright, and the décor lovely. It offered everything we needed, including a table and chairs, a bar sink, refrigerator, free water and snacks, plus a great shower. Very sumptuous towels, too. And of course, the room was poolside, as there are only 10 rooms total. The spa is spacious, deep and welcoming, too.
The breakfasts were truly gourmet! Chef Tony created some beautiful dishes, including soufflés, both southwestern and french toast style, also homemade fresh blueberry pancakes that were unlike anything we’ve ever had (yum!) and an italian strata, too. The bacon and sausage accompaniments were great, as were the starters: We were offered a variety of juices plus fresh fruit, parfait with fruit, granola and yogurt, and a fruit smoothie. Each morning there were also made-​from-​scratch mini-​muffins. Really great food! Then Happy Hour gatherings around the fire pit were a pleasure each evening — with beer, wine or their signature cocktail offered, and tasty snacks, too.
Were we just lucky, or does this place always attract such interesting, nice clientele? We enjoyed the social aspect of the experience during the communal times (breakfast and HH), while enjoying the serene, peaceful get-​away experience we were seeking. Also, we feel the location is great for really enjoying nearby downtown Palm Springs, while being off the beaten path in a lovely residential setting.
Franchised resorts have their place, and we’ve enjoyed the best of them. But if you value the character and personalized experience that POSH has to offer, then book your stay and tell them «Barb and Larry sent us»!
