Enchanted Garden Wedding Chapel & Receptions

What a hidden little gem.
My wife and I were married here in his little garden. Paster Norm gave such a lovely ceremony. His words were very heartfelt. I found myself anticipating his every word.
My wife and I found Norm’s little garden on our was to breakfast one morning. It was just so adorable, the image of it never left my mind.
When we decided to get married, we wanted a special little ceremony that was not pricey, but matched the love we have for each other.
I have seen other reviews that did not give the enchanted garden wedding chapel a raving review, but if you are looking for a wedding that has a pristine Cathedral with hems hanging from the ceiling. This is not for you.
If you are looking to have a beautiful little ceremony that is built from love and won’t cost you your life savings. Pastor Norm is the right choose you the two of you.
We both felt so very special to have Pastor Norm marry us.

If the Unilocal creator visited this «chapel», a negative star would have been included in the rating system. While taking a stroll after having a nice dinner in downtown in PS, my best friend, my parents (both in their 70’s) and I came across this campy little place and decided to take a look at the grounds (purely for entertainment value). While taking the posted «Free Self Tour» (which evoked a giggle on its own), we were greeted by Norman and invited inside. He talked about his weddings a bit … and I asked him If he does same sex marriages… to which he replied.: «Not many, this is a Christian place. There’s a new place that opened up that does most of them. I will if I have to, but I’d rather not do them, because you know how those people are… do one thing wrong and they’ll sue you.»
Here’s a little bit of information for you Norman… THAT DOESN’T SOUND VERY CHRISTIAN TO ME! I’m gay, and who you assumed was my lovely fiancé, was, in fact, my lesbian friend. My parents were extremely offended and shocked that in this day and age somebody would actually spew such ignorance and bigotry from their mouth… especially while conducting a business in a city like Palm Springs. Shame on you Norman.
I took a look at his website and I encourage you to do the same… you will understand from abundance of errors in it to just how ridiculous this place is.
This would be the perfect set for a Saturday Night Live skit.

Okay so for a campy type of shotgun wedding this place for the price would probably suffice.
The outside garden has bolted down lawn benches and tables. However its not that bad. But the trash should be cleaned around the chapel, some ant spray is in order and the unused benches are an eyesore.
The tiny chapel has wobbly benches, horrible décor and all around really cheap bad taste. Along with plastic shiny crosses hanging from a light pendant, horrible 20 year old door mat at the alter and really bad carpet.
Norman, the officiant seemed nice. However, «tick tock» he is rushing things along and watching the clock like a hawk. His rambling on about scripture and Adam & Eve didn’t make sense. Like the other Unilocaler stated, his wig/​hair piece is really horrible. His attire, hygiene and lack of getting a bride and grooms name right needs a lot of work.
I would never ever, ever, ever get married here myself. But for the person who I attended did, it was hilarious, and light spirited. They took in stride and all in all I think had a funny, campy «chapel» wedding.
The parking is HORRIBLE.
