I’m so happy I found R. Dow! And I’m so happy he moved here to Palm Springs! He gave me exactly the cut I wanted. He was very easy to talk to and didn’t make me feel like I HAD to do something I didn’t want to do. I highly recommend him, and welcome to Palm Springs!

I was invited to a Halloween party and was told I HAD to come in costume… so a friend and I decided to go as Bette Davis and Joan Crawford in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane… in this case — it was the Makeup and Hair that could cause the transformation
I found David online — and told him of our need… he said he could definitely help… and where in Hollywood and here to get wigs… and to bring them to him before coming over for makeup… which I did… he studied clips from the movie to familiarize himself with the look.
On Halloween my friend and I went over to have the total effect created…
David uses an airbrush to apply the makeup which is not only very relaxing and sensuous it is fast and goes on effortlessly…(it is easily removed with soap and water)
well I did not recognize myself — nor did my friend — we bowled everyone over at the party… never have had so many compliments… and against our will were entered in a contest and won First Prize.
David is your man for the Ultimate Makeup and Hair! You won’t go wrong with him!!!

If I could give them 100 stars I would!!! Russell is the best stylist I have ever been to. He has become a friend over the last few years. He never over charges. He doesn’t over book. And he is a genius when it comes to color and cut! I also like both David and Andrew. The salon is casual, relaxed, not snooty. I always look forward to going.

David did my makeup for my 10^th Wedding Anniversary event and was Awesome. I looked great and pictures turned out so wonderful thank you so much David. This was the first time I had Airbrush makeup and will do it again. The Salon is so much fun love the energy.
Dow does my hair, he corrected my blonde color from brassy look to beautiful blonde, I also had extensions put in and I love them. I have tried many different types of extensions and this is the Very Best Ever. So happy I found this great place to go to. Thank You Dow so much.

I came here on a whim. I asked for someone that specializes in color. I was told here is your guy… Nope he tried. However the color is much darker than I requested & the temple area didn’t get color? He tells me yeah it’s a little darker but it will lighten up. Ok? What about the temple area? No response. How much do I owe you? Let’s just do $ 60. Ok now to look for a color specialist. Idk? Maybe another stylist there is good. The salon is kinda dirty. Just feel ripped off. Oh well now you know. I should’ve done more research. Damn I hate that Amanda moved to Vegas. Long way to go for a hair cut

I have been going to this salon for the last five years. I would not think of going anywhere else in Palm Springs. David does my color and it always turns out amazing. Nice, clean salon with hassle-​free parking. Love the energy in this salon!

Robyn has to be the best I’ve ever worked with! Being a former stylist myself, I want value and high-​end service topped with a great experience! I live in the desert May-​Apr. Robyn has had to transform my fried hair twice now, from trying to find someone in the Bay Area the rest of the year to do my hair. She’s cut my hair in several new styles, always keeping my hairstyle fresh, along with playing with high lites and different colors. I’m currently a «pixie,» according to my husband, going from fried blonde to caramel brown, short, now «back to soft» hair, and lovin’ it!!!
She books up early, so don’t wait to get on her schedule, especially with the holidays coming up. Expect a GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!
Summer

Just returned from my second appointment with David. First time by chance, I was scheduled with another stylist who was out sick and took a chance. I desperately needed a very bad haircut fixed. David did a fabulous job and it was a challenge. I returned for color today and although I am a loyal fan of a brand he doesn’t carry I trusted his judgement and again I was very happy. I am new to Palm Springs and having had one bad experience with a highly rated salon in town where I paid far too much for a very disappointing cut and color I finally found what I was looking for. David not only is very experienced but also a pleasure. I was also more than happy with the prices! I have paid much more! If you have a problem finding the location like I did, call them!

Billy is the stylist I’ve been looking for since I moved to the desert and have been happy with his work for years. His product recommendations are always spot on.
The salon is cozy and hip and the people are all friendly.
