My Heating and Air Conditioning repair company was established in 1998. I already had 10 years of experience in HVAC installation and repair at that time as well as a degree from Universal Technical Institute for Air Conditioning and Heating.

I’m happy to say that after 17 years I have built an unbelievable Heating and Cooling Repair and Installation company in Palm Desert, CA. Of course I have to give credit to my skilled HVAC technicians who have built a loyal customer base in the Coachella Valley. Every Cooling and Heating situation is fixable with good communication, good service and good people.

We specialize in Residential and light Commercial Air Conditioning and Heating with a strong focus on energy savings, good indoor air quality and fantastic service in the Coachella Valley.

I can’t say enough good about Priority One Air Conditioning. I called Roy for an estimate for a Mini Split A/​C Unit for our 1 car garage. Roy came out immediately and gave me the best quote out of 3, with the best unit for the area. Three days later Luis, Justin, and Steve came out and installed the unit. They did an exceptionally good job and are complete professionals in every respect. Best of all, the A/​C unit immediately cooled off our garage and is very quiet.

I cannot recommend Priority One more, they not only gave us the best recommendations on which system was best for our needs but the price was very competitive. Roy is very easy going with no high pressure sales pitch. We got a whole new system for our vacation house. Roy’s crew was prompt, clean and fast and in no time we had it up and running just in time for the heat turning up. I am a Real Estate Broker and do a lot of refurbishing and work for clients and by far this was one of the smoothest jobs I have ever had done.
Great job Roy and crew and FYI, I love my new online «Nest» thermostat, you were right it is easy and fun to use !!!

We needed someone to come out and change our filter for us and just give us a general check up on our air conditioning unit. Adrian came out and was so knowledgeable about everything. He changed the filter, filled up our freon and now our unit is working so well. I was so impressed with this young man. He put booties on every time he came in and out, was so polite. The lady in the office was so nice as well. The owner should be proud to have Adrian as his employee. We will be calling again in the Fall. :)

I needed to get my HVAC replaced and called Roy to come give me a quote since he had replaced my compressor a few years ago.
I have to say that Roy truly knows his stuff! Not only did he point out the problems that the other AC companies did, he also found some venting issues the others missed and suggested corrections. He is very thorough and detailed and very professional.
Two words to sum up: Roy cares!

Awesome professional courteous prompt service. I called this morning for an appointment, they were at my condo by that same evening. I had an air conditioning unit installed (one week prior) and it wasn’t cooling. The company that installed it refused service. I was desperate. It was 113 degrees outside. I looked on Unilocal and found Priority One. I contacted them and within one hour a very friendly technician arrived. The follow up by the owner, Roy, was incredible. Roy never made me feel rushed. He explained everything to me, in terms of air conditioning and how it works in relation to your house, not «How can we close this deal?» This is the company you want to use. No hard sell, professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and courteous. Roy even went so far as to loan me a portable air conditioning unit as a temporary solution. I can’t thank Roy enough.

Here’s the deal: AC died Tuesday night, called POAC Wednesday night, spoke with Roy around 7pm.
He was at my door waiting for me Thursday afternoon around 4:15pm when I returned from a physical therapy appointment. He was in & out, diagnosed the problem in less than 20 minutes. He then spoke with my landlord, who lives in Vancouver and promised me he would start the repair process immediately. He called me late Thursday evening, apologised for not having e-​mailed the repair info to my landlord and assured me he would do it first thing Friday morning.
Received a call from Leah 9:30 am Friday to schedule my AC repairs. Due to scheduling conflicts, (theirs and mine) the earliest we could agree on was late Monday morning. Roy followed up with call later that morning to reassure me all repairs had been approved by my landlord.
8:30 Monday morning received a call from POAC, repair crew in route, will arrive within the hour. 25 minutes later two young men (very polite, focused) came in, introduced themselves and got immediately to work. I was chilling at a cool 75 before 12 noon!
These people, Roy, the repair crew (please forgive me for not remembering your names) and ladies who answer the phones are among the most professional workers I’ve had the pleasure of encountering. Everyone involved did their jobs exceptionally well. POAC will be my AC folks for as long as I live in the desert. WAY TO GO!!!

Had a Home Warranty which (far too slowly at 115 degrees) sent out two different A/​C repair companies to our home in the desert — neither who seemed that honest or professional. Both said the only fix was a new $ 4,500 unit of which the Home Warranty would only cover $ 1,500! After days without A/​C, I gave up on the Home Warranty and started calling A/​C people on my own. After multiple companies looked at the system, Roy at Priority One said they would find a way to fix the issue. Took a few trips (was not an easy fix) and a very reasonable $ 550 total bill — but I now have two things — cold air and an A/​C company I can truly trust. Thank you Roy and crew. Your dedication and hard work are appreciated.

One of the best companies I’ve had the pleasure to work with. The technician, Jhonthan Urbina was articulate, professional, took his time, crawled in the attic and examined the equipment (it was at least 110 degrees up there) he took pictures and then he explained the problems and the suggested repairs and upgrades that needed to be done on the equipment. I would highly recommend this company and Jhonthan. Truly exceptional service!

We just had a wonderful experience with Priority One. Roy, from Priority One, came out promptly, diagnosed the problem, and repaired the air conditioning at a very reasonable price. He also found many problems caused by a poor installation job from an obviously inferior company who we made the mistake of hiring a few years ago to install a new unit. We will be hiring Priority One to reinstall the unit correctly in the next couple of weeks. Thank you Priority One Air Conditioning for doing such a fantastic job.

My AC stop working so I called my home insurance they said we will get back to you soon… I waited & waited until I couldn’t Waite no more. So I called priority one around midnight! The owner of the company showed up and fix my AC in about 15 min. What a Fabulous man. This is my AC… Company for life as long as I’m in the desert.

Roy and his team at Priority One are first class. Within 3 hours of calling them to asess and fix my non-​working central AC he and his team arrived to save the day. They pin-​pointed and resolved the issue very quickly and reasonably.
