We are maintenance and restoration specialists that can help you resolve problems that appear too difficult to treat by the home owner. We specialize in polishing or honing, stain removal, etch marks, efflorescence and hard water stains, scratches and repairs.

History

Established in 1989.

In 1989 Mario was the General Manager of Garcia’s of Scottsdale Restaurant in Rancho Mirage, CA. The restaurant floors were in need of maintenance. He investigated on how and what it would take to restore the restaurant 9000 sq.ft. of Mexican Saltillo paver floors. His brothers Mark and Michael also cousin Raul decided to take on the challenge with him to strip, clean and reseal the paver floors. It was a successful restoration. He immediately started receiving compliments from the restaurant customers on how good and clean the floors looked. One of our first Tilecare customers, Forest & Glenda Wikoff hired us to restore the pavers in their Rancho Mirage home. By word of mouth in a ten year period we worked on over 100 floors. In 1996 Mario retired from the restaurant business to dedicate his effort to our family TilecAre business. He received his Contractor License and worked hard to become a specialist in stone and tile maintenance and restoration. We now have over 8500 customers.

Mario Hernandez is the owner and operator of Mario’s Tile Care. He puts a premium on excellent customer service, and with decades of experience living and working in the Rancho Mirage area, is an expert in all facets of the desert lifestyle.
