Offering 1:1 and small groups lesson/tutoring/translation/interpretation services in English, Spanish, French, Chinese, and Latin. Kiddos Lingua is our after school program focused on homework support, teaching Spanish and making art projects for elementary schoolchildren in the Coachella Valley, California.
Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced levels are open all year-round for kids, teenagers, middle, high school or college students, business people, insurers, medical personnel, and anyone interested in learning a language and become fluent.
Cruz Language Academy has highly qualified, screened, and background checked teacher/tutors. They are native speakers or very proficient in their second language, and hold at least a bachelor’s degree or master degree. They have the education, experience, and methodology to improve your listening, reading-comprehension, writing, and speaking skills.
History
Established in 2013.
Cruz Language Academy is owned and operated in Palm Desert, California.
We teach/tutor students face to face in the greater Palm Springs area. Also, online via Skype for our growing audience in the U.S.A and abroad. Students from northern California, Virginia, New Jersey, and Mexico City (Mexico), Bogotá (Colombia), Sao Paulo (Brasil) have already completed language courses with us.
Kiddos Lingua: After School Program was established in 2015. Kindergartners to 5th grades from James Monroe and other elementary schools in the Coachella Valley are taking Spanish lessons with us.

Meet the Business Owner
Luis M.
Business Owner
Luis is a highly qualified Spanish teacher who holds a Summa Cum Laude Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Literature and Linguistics earned in 2000.
As a native Spanish speaker and more than 15 years teaching native and non-native speakers, Luis understands the challenges of learning and teaching a second language.
He is the author of an essay book and has experience in the media industry working as a journalist for local Spanish networks like Univision and Telemundo.
Luis has also pursued graduate studies at the University of Havana, University of California at San Diego (Translation Certificate) and Humboldt State University (Teaching Credential in Spanish). Currently, he is working on his master’s degree online from the Pontifical University of Salamanca, Spain.
Being the Director of the Cruz Language Academy creates an incredible opportunity to pairing students with a network of colleagues holding bachelor, master, and doctorate’s degrees.
