Great service, friendly staff. You can tell they love dogs. The groomer is really gentle with Missy and they have some really good harnesses that don’t choke her.

I was very disheartened to read a review on here from someone in regards to the groomers service. I am a Force Free dog trainer and I have many difficult to handle students who through abuse, neglect, or mental illness the dogs have suffered from trauma at other grooming shops. Nina the Groomer here is AMAZING! She takes her time with each dog and will only work as long as they remain low to no stress. She will counsel owners with dogs that need more handling on the importance of coming back frequently to desensitize to specific issues. Not once have I ever seen her be anything but professional, kind, and compassionate to each and every dog shes handled. She is the ONLY groomer in the entire Coachella Valley that I will refer any of my students to. After I read that review I went and spent the day speaking with owners and watching her work with her clients pups. She truly loves all of these dogs and has their safety and health at heart. Physical and mental. To say she is anything but top notch, in my professional opinion (and Ive met a decent amount of local groomers) is inaccurate. You will not find a better grooming facility in this valley.
As such I asked several owners for permission to photograph the groomer with their dogs and one happy mommy was very excited to share her happy post groom picture as she had tried several groomers before and Nina was the perfect fit. I have uploaded them here.

Reading the reply from the business owner was very disappointing, although not surprising. It is unprofessional, accusatory, and riddled with inaccuracies, which precisely reflects my experience so far with the groomer and now the business owner, which is very unfortunate. The professional reaction to a review like this would be to contact me directly to find out what happened instead of taking the groomer’s account at face value and then slandering me on a public forum. I went to Cold Nose, Warm Heart on good faith and then after experiencing an issue, tried to resolve it in person. When I was brushed off, I reported my experience here, on a forum set up to share experiences — good and bad. My only intention was to alert others of our unfortunate incident, especially if their pet requires special attention like our dog Miley.
It is clear that some people have had a good experience here. We did not. Through this post, I simply wanted to help others make a decision for themselves so that their pets would not have to endure what Miley did. After taking Miley to a vet for an exam following his grooming, the vet treated Miley’s paws and confirmed that the injuries were in line with a botched or rushed grooming session. I will be following up with your business directly again regarding the injuries and the cost of treating them.
Initially, I simply wanted to alert people with special needs dogs about Cold Nose, Warm Heart, but now I’d like to warn everyone to be wary of this place. Not only did the groomer lack the necessary skills to groom our dog, the business owner has chosen to lash out at a concerned client without getting all the facts and without any concern for what may happen to other dogs at his business in the future if he fails to follow up on customers’ concerns.

Nice people, good work. They are obviously dog lovers to the core, and it shows in the quality of the cuts, and the way my Charly responded to them, even on first meeting.
We came to CNWH because our long-​time groomer had gone a bit downhill. CNWH has already started to repair the damage done elsewhere, and Charly likes them, which means a lot to us.
Thank you, CNWH! We’ll be back.
PS: They give you a very precise time to arrive, and a very clear expectation of when they’ll be finished. That makes scheduling my day easier, and is icing on the cake.

From the first conversation to set Harley’s appointment till the very end the staff was wonderful. We will definitely be using this establishment regularly. The service and the cost were right on point. The best part is Harley looks adorable.

I’ve had two bad experiences with other groomers that left my pup petrified. I was worried that my 9 month old would always have a bad experience with getting his hair cut.
I took him to Cold Nose Warm Heart for the first time today. As soon a Kevin Costello (the groomer) introduced himself, my little man warmed up to him immediately. His hair cut was adorable. He left feeling happy + relaxed. I will be a repeat costumer for many years to come. Thank you!

This was my second visit here. First time was pretty good. Gentleman up front, Clay, was super knowledgeable about food & treats and not too pushy to get the «good stuff». Groom was satisfactory, no real issues. Not great, not terrible. Second visit was not good. My dog was super choppy, uneven, and some things were not even done. Nails weren’t done nor was her ears or hygiene area. Shaved portion of under belly was very uneven and not straight. I called and was asked to bring her back the next day (again same gentleman as I dealt with before, Clay, super nice and apologetic) but Neena, not so happy. Seemed to be bothered by my concerns. Pretty rude to be honest. She did fix her but not without complaint. No bow either? Thought that was a given, maybe not. Will probably will give them another shot on the sheer fact that Clay was so nice about it.

I LOVE Gary (owner) and Neena (groomer)! They have customer service down to a t. Neena is fresh and fun with knowing different grooming styles and behavior skills to calm stressed animals:) Gary is there to please. Highly, highly recommend this place!

Had a great experience Saturday at Cold Nose Warm Heart. Memphis and Katie needed to go for spa day and as it was katie“s first trip so I was a little nervous. Well I shouldn’t have worried because both Michelle at the front desk and Nina the groomer were awesome. Thank you so much for making it a great experience for them.

Staff and timing were excellent. Lucy felt at home and was well taken care of. Tipping for grooming is new to me, however.

I took my 4 month old maltipoo puppy here and, they were absolutely amazing. This was my puppy’s first time to the groomer and when he came out he was so happy and looked great! Great prices & excellent customer service. I will be going here regularly.
