The hotel is nestled among 700 acres of wooded countryside in Painesville, Ohio with year round recreational activities. The Devlin-​Von Hagge course is a par 72 course that curves through a forest of oak, maple and birch trees. The Weiskopf-​Morrish course is a links style 18-​hole, par 71 course which is carved through wooded, rolling terrain and meanders around three lakes and creeks. Other hotel recreation includes outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and whirlpool.

Enjoy a meal in our signature CK’s Steakhouse restaurant with a wide selection of entrees to suit any appetite day or night. In the Painesville area, nearby the resort is Jack Arra’s, a full service salon and spa, excellent sporting venues, winery tours, museums, shopping, horseback riding, and much more.

History

Established in 1966.

1966-​Tanglewood Motor Inn, shortly thereafter renamed to Ramada Inn with a leased restaurant, The Brown Derby. Only one rooms building.

1968-​Sold to private owners Van Aken and other investors I’d suspect, But privately owned. Did build first 9 holes of Devlin. Indoor and outdoor pool built and memberships sold to community.

1972-​Sold to Diamond Shamrock who used for their personal company meetings and functions as well as open to public.

1983−1993-Diamond Shamrock did a lease option to buy 10 year contract with Club Corp. Renovations and upgrades were continuous throughout these years.

1994-​Club Corp officially owned the property and remodeled total facility with sparing no expense.

1998-​Club Corp sold Hotel portion of Quail Hollow to Concord Hospitality.

2007-​Country Club officially opened their own private building out on their Golf course for members only.

2008-​Concord Hospitality sold hotel Interwest Capital and Interwest placed GF Management as the company to manage.
