Description

Specialties

We are a local business with a local vibe, fresh breads, yummy sandwiches made on said breads and bagels… insider tip: veggie pesto bagel is our best seller. Delicious eggs benedict and other breakfast items are on the menu, along with a full assortment of organic teas, and fair trade, organic, and small batch air roasted coffee and espresso drinks.

Prepared food starts 7am, bakery opens 6am, closed Sundays

We also offer WiFi internet connection and lots of cakes, sweets and unique treats like our «spudnuts,» and gluten free/paleo options.

History

Established in 2008.

Tin Shack Bakery was born in the local farmers market as a way to join with the community in providing something special and unique in our baked goods. After years in the market, we opened our doors in Pahoa town in 2013, with tons of help and generosity from the community and friends.

We hope to continue providing a place to gather, sweet treats, coffee and delicious brunchy stuff for years to come. Come enjoy the life of Pahoa through our open doors!

Business Owner

Matt and Noelle have lived in Pahoa for almost 10 years, loving this growing community, building a life here and seeking to be a part of the excitement of this small town. We are proud parents of 2 beautiful girls and love the Hawaiian Islands. Matt was born a missionary kid in the Phillippines and Noelle is from Kauai.
