I cannot give them enough stars. I have been coming to this dentist for many years and they feel like family. The staff is so friendly and call everyone by name. Dr kobori and all of the techs explain everything to you and make you feel so comfortable. They’re not afraid to crack a joke or two to get you laughing. Love love love this place!

We started seeing Dr. Kobori about 20 – 25 years ago after our old dentist seemed to lose interest when his wife/​receptionist passed away. We heard about Kobori from friends who gave rave reviews about his office, assistants and hygienists. The high quality was there then and is there now. I’m so glad we found Dr. Kobori’s practice.

Last spring, I was diagnosed with my first cavity in 13 years. I was super nervous in general because I am a total baby when it comes to dental work. (Who isn’t?) The dentist I had been seeing wanted to do an amalgam filling and I was like um, is this the stone age? He was rude & condescending about my health and safety concerns so I went on a search for a better dentist.
My husbabd’s co-​worker referred me to this office, she has been going here since she was a kid. I could not be happier with the care that they provided to me!!! Everyone in the office is kind, patient and has great attention to detail. Both cleanings I had were spectacular! Gentle yet thorough, I could not ask for anything more.
I had 2 composite fillings done by Dr. Kobori & his assistants. I was nervous and fussy the whole time but they were focused, meticulous and fast working through both of them. They both have held up perfectly.
We just moved pretty far away, but if we had stayed in Pacifica I would never leave this place. I recommend them fully!!!

I’ve been going to Dr. Kabori for over 24 years. Since moving back to Pacifica. My daughters are now grown with children of their own and continue to see Dr. Kabori with their own children even though they have both moved out of Pacifica. My mom is going to see him now that she needs dentures. I don’t know what else to tell you except that his staff, office, and hygienists are all positively a reflection of him. A complete package, they know who I am when I call, they know and remember my kids and now they are going to get to meet my folks. Dr. Kabori has a very gentle hand, he does professional work. He has an excellent office staff, Melissa and Toni have been there since I started going to him, 24 years ago, he’s now seeing my grandchildren as patients, I see him, my children go to him for their dental needs, my grandchildren see him, my parents are going to see him, three generations, four if you include my parents. How many people can say that?

I love the office staff and Dr. Kobori! They are amazing. Always there when you need them. He is an old school type of dentist who is practical, caring, very skilled and nice as well! He is amazing. You can trust him to take great care of you and your teeth! Recommend him without reservations whatsoever. Go here and you will never go anywhere else!

My family couldn’t ask for a more qualified dentist. Dr. Kobori is very talented and has a great chair side manor. The office staff is super, one of the most friendly and easy groups of people to work with .
We have had some very extensive work done by Dr. Kobori and have been completely satisfied with all of his work. He can call himself a gentle dentist, he has a soft touch and my children are both very comfortable with any procedure he has performed

I’ve moved around a bit, and so I’ve seen a good sample of dentists. Dr. Kobori is top o’ the line. He has a sure and gentle hand, he’s extremely competent, very current on the latest techniques, and very low pressure. The office staff are beyond nice – they are positively delightful. My husband and I love him, and I’ve yet to meet a Pacifica resident who doesn’t feel the same way.

I went I got my first job after college I had the crappiest dental plan, along with the crappiest dentist recommendation from a coworker. For the next two years I avoided the dentist all together. Dr. Kobori was recommended by an aunt, who is really particular about the everything, and the fact that she’s been going to Dr. Kobori for almost 10 years says a lot. I love their dental hygienist Debbie. She is very nice and talkative, and is great at being careful with my gums! I have had some pretty traumatic teeth cleanings in my life, but since I found Dr. Kobori’s office I am no longer afraid to go to the Dentist. Dr. Kobori himself is very thorough and gentle. I feel absolutely no anxiety when I get there. I felt cheated and scammed with billing at other dentist offices, but their staff is great and take care of their patients which is how it should be.

How’s this for awesome:
I hadn’t chosen a new dentist since moving to Pacifica. I found Dr. Kobori here on Unilocal.I called his office and got in the same day! I’m always nervous when choosing a new dentist, as some tend to be pushy with the teeth straightening and/​or whitening. I didn’t experience that at all with Dr. Kobori or his staff. Very pleasant people, very gental, and very thorough. I’m all signed up for my next visit in six months, and I’m looking forward to it. My smile is just that much cleaner and brighter now that I know Dr. Kobori is my dentist!

I chose this dentist after making the move to Pacifica and narrowing down what dentists my insurance covered. After narrowing the list, I further discriminated by determining which dentists offered nitrous. Dr Kobori fit the bill! I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The hygenists are nice, Dr Kobori is an excellent conservative dentist (with a gentle touch, good for fraidy cats like me), and my brother has a huge man crush on him.
