Under no circumstance will topping be done to any tree.

Business Owner

Lifelong Palisadian Carl Mellinger founded his own business after he noticed «a lack of proper tree care locally.» He is a certified and consulting arborist and a member of the ASCA (American Society of Consulting Arborists). He has a staff of ten, including crew members who frequently attend seminars and workshops to hone and advance their craft.

«I specialize in cutting-​edge arboriculture with a hands-​on approach,» Mellinger says. «Some of my crew members have been with us since 1985, and we’re committed to providing service following the ANSI (American National Standards Institute) guidelines for pruning and safety. For example, we won’t top trees since this can permanently harm or destroy them.»

In addition to offering complete tree-​care services, Carl Mellinger is a consultant in disease and pest diagnosis, tree preservation during construction, report writing and appraisals, and he serves as an expert witness.
