Specialties

Interested in a singer for your next event, or a teacher to help you take your voice to the next level? Let’s get going!

In addition to singing professionally (Opera, Musical Theatre, Jazz, & Pop), I specialize in teaching vocal science and technique in the healthiest way, with impressive results! From the beginner to the advanced, and through all genres of music, I can help students get their voices in optimum shape & give them the confidence to take the stage! As a professional singer, I don’t simply teach as a back up. I LOVE teaching music & my teaching shows it! Whether one is a singer of rock, jazz, opera, musical theatre, choral, or pop, I can help them reach their vocal goals. I have taught at the collegiate level, am frequently hired to adjudicate competitions/auditions, & work with choral ensembles to help master any work. In addition to English, I am comfortable singing in German, Italian, French, Latin, and Spanish. I can also integrate music theory or piano.

History

Established in 2001.

After teaching piano and voice from a small music store during college, I began working with voices in choirs, I then received a TAship from a top University, teaching Class Voice and Voice Lessons. Following my masters degree, I continued my research in vocal science and pedagogy. I have been asked to assist in choral direction and preparation. My research led to build up my private vocal studio, and with very little advertising, built quickly! I blame the technique, which builds a perfect registration blend, extending range, balance, and power in any genre of singing.
