the rudest person ever. their service is good but the man steve himself is rude and disrespectful of his clients. called today and verified my transaction after paying the fee and getting my car smogged and passed. was doing my renewal online and my smog check certificate was not transmitted so i had to call him. he doesn’t speak too well on the phone, he was screaming at me then hung up while i was trying to explain my purpose for calling. totally rude and unacceptable. what a way to treat a fair and square customer and a woman too. where’s your manner mr. steve! yes, i am typing in caps!

They were fast and friendly! Very convenient they are open on weekends since I work during the week and don’t have time to come on Saturdays. Luckily when I got here there was only one car ahead of me, so my car was finished in about 15 minutes. Plus I got $ 3 off just for checking in.

Started out as a good deal. Many «Service Fees» cost a star for each. $ 28 for DMV processing, Credit Card Fee, Smog Cert Fee, must rate 5-​star to get coupon. See how fees hurt. Would have given five if TOTAL cost was stated Up Front.
Find out beforehand. I was in a hurry. Thanks for the lesson.

It’s hard to believe someone when they tell you their giving you a good deal for a vehicle verification when the cost is FREE right across the street at the dmv!
Edit: Steve’s prices are fair and time saving. If you have the time, consider going to the DMV and doing it yourself. You’ll save more $.

Came in and there was a line of cars but was immediately greeted and told that it would be quick. Less than twenty minutes later my car was being tested. Talk about fast service! Steve and other guys were joking with me and laughing. The guys that came to help me were courteous and respectful of my time. Great family service! First smog station established. Great job guys

I just had a walk-​in smog check done here today. I was helped immediately by the owner and his son. The service was quick and I was set and ready to go in a timely manner. $ 50 was the price I was quoted and paid out the door for the smog check. This was my 2nd time coming here and I was content with the service I received.

Being new to Oxnord I saw this place from the DMV and thought why not. (Picking up a car I bought) After my smog check was completed I was just asking questions about things around town and they were all very helpful in giving me useful tips! I than went on Unilocal to notice the not so nice reviews and decided I should write about my pleasant, efficient experience. :)
