Good people and a great beach. I’ve lived on Silver Strand and it’s a wonderful place to live. Great views, and great vibes. Silver strand is a great mix of people. It has the multimillion dollar house, and it has it’s shacks as well. It’s a great place to walk and bring your dog.

Not worth it! Traffic getting there was horrible. took almost 2:30 from Burbank. Heard it was dog friendly it’s not! Dogs are not allowed between 9 – 5 and must be on a leash. The animal control«just» happened to be waiting for us and gave us a $ 135.00 citation for being off leash. Beach is just used to big beaches like Manhattan or Santa Monica. Even in the summertime we both had jackets on because of the wind and fog.

A great beach to take the family. They have new RR facilities and showers to rinse off. The only draw back… Limited parking.

Fabulous dog beach during off hours. No puppies between 9 and 5 pm. There was no one around at sunset. It was very clean including the bathrooms. The sunset was beautiful we’ll definitely be back.
