PizzaMan Dan’s

Had a couple of issues, Dan himself personally reached out to me and went above and beyond. I cant properly express the appreciation and immense RESPECT for such a business owner, who cares about his business and its consumers (customers) .I didn’t expect such professionalism or a response. I try my best to support LOCAL Merchants and Dan certainly has my support .He cares about his product and delivering the best for his customers. Mistakes happen none of us are perfect, we as consumers need to remember this and deal fairly with others when issues arise. To often you see people Ranting on Unilocal Trashing a business and not dealing fairly with them. It takes had work and lots of care to run a successful business, when its a local merchant (the little guy) I personally try to be as fair and honest as possible. Pizza Man Dans has got my support and I think you should try them out, its rare that you find such hard working, fair, kind and caring owners .,. who make an effort to deliver their best and resolve issues if necessary. I look forward to PIZZA Friday from Dan ! Thanks again dan for taking the time to care about your customers and business !

Best pizza in town. Fantastic crust and fresh toppings. Quick, friendly delivery people and reasonable prices.

I personally love their pizza. For the value, I think it’s BETTER than the Toppers down the street. Very underrated. Great service. The staff has always been very polite. Great coupons online. I got an all-​meat calzone for $ 6.50.

Found their flyer on my door and decided to give it a try. Ordered a large Taco Pizza which was luke warm and kinda dry and got a free pastrami sub (coupon) which was soggy and had little meat.
I’ll stick to my regular pizza place and they don’t charge $ 2.50 delivery for sub-​par food.

Just left it was very good I will come back, service was great. We tried the Hawaiian bbq chicken pizza absolutely fantastic. And had the individual lunch and that was good too. Thank you

For the last 7 years we have lived so far out in the country no one would deliver pizza to us,
I know, i know, your thinking wait Jim, out in the county in SoCal. yes its true, we even left our keys in the car and didn’t even have a house key.
We were in a vortex between Moorpark and Camarillo. it was a geographical oddity.
We recently moved to El Rio (Oxnard church-​ed up) and our first delivery experience in 7 years is from PizzaMan Dan’s, now with 6 locations according to the website.
This one close enough to check in from home! we ordered the pies and they were delivered in like 15 – 20 min.
Nice crusts not soggy lots of toppings and sauce and fresh too.
we got 2 pies,
A meat mania with pepperoni, sausage Canadian bacon and REAL bacon topped in a cheese avalanche.
Secondly we got a bacon, chicken and jalapeño pie, again with plenty of sauce and cheese both were off the hook great!

I have been living in Oxnard for 9 months, working on a construction project at NBVC Pt Magu. I live in a hotel and eat out every meal of the week. I have tried everyone who delivers in this area, and I have eaten at Pizza Man Dan’s several times for their hot wings and salads.
Pizza Man Dan’s wings and salads are of above average quality at average prices. They ask you to add a tip on your card before they deliver the order, so naturally its ALWAYS (as in 100% of my orders) late. Th pizza is decent… nothing to write home about.
In my experienced opinion, Pizza Man Dan’s is no Topper’s…

I was actually REALLY bummed out coming here… I know Mr. Dan, and he’s an amazing business owner, thats what makes me compelled to write this review, I think he needs to know what happened. We came in around 9:30pm on Saturday night after our taekwondo testing. We usually go to the Ventura/​Victoria location because that’s where our studio is, but since testing was at a different studio, we came here. The menu on the wall has NO PRICES, at all… and there was no pricing menu ANYWHERE to be found, you basically don’t know how much anything is until you order it. I didn’t really care because were were there for a fundraiser anyway, but I thought it was super odd. We ordered our food and sat at the large table to accommodate our group of 4 families. Apparently it was Karaōke night, we thought that was cool. Except the sound was SO LOUD we couldn’t even talk across the table to each other. In less than 5 minutes I had a POUNDING headache from the noise to the level of nausea. We asked a worker to turn it down; he walked over to the speaker but the sound level didn’t change at all. It was so unnecessary to have it that loud in a small room with only a few tables. Plus, there was no «line» for karaōke either, it was just go up if you go up, but one family was dominating the machine so we never got a chance to try it.
Food came out in a reasonable amount of time, although we were the only patrons in there eating, so maybe it could have been faster, but it wasn’t too bad. It was delicious as usual. Only bummer is they forgot on family’s order completely, and by the time it came everyone else was done eating, so they took it to go. I guess I just have higher standards for Pizza Man Dan because I’ve never had a bad experience, not in delivery or the Victoria location we know and love so well. I’ll never be returning to this location.

My freaking food came in 15 minutes! I mean I do live not too far away from Pizzaman Dan’s but I’ve lived near Pizza Places before and ordered delivery and I usually wait the minimum 30 minutes. Had to put pants on to answer the door because I wasn’t expecting it that soon X-​D I’ve had Pizzaman Dan’s before for a party and the wings were out of this world. Better than Buffalo Wild Wings or any other Wing place. Didn’t know the owner Dan was so philanthropic either which means alot for this community. I’ll definitely be talking this place up and eating here more often.
The price is right on point. I’ve always had problem with pizza in someway but this pizza is top notch all the way.

Here for a birthday party. The place is a bit small. We pretty much had the entire place to ourselves. I think most of the business here is take out or delivery. Salad bar with lots of selections. Pizza and chicken wings were good.
There is a big lot in the back and the owner allowed my brother to use the area for a jolly jumper. That kept the little ones entertained. Video games and a juke box kept the older kids entertained.
The location is on a busy street and limited parking in front but there is parking in the back and along the side street.

Pizza is great and their wings are my favorite! When I get a wing craving I’m craving these!!! Delicious!!!

Mr. Pablo knows me by name and Mr. Dan is probably the best owner since he personally came up to me and pleased that I am a daily customer. CANNOT forget my 50 Dry chicken wings!!! Best wings hands down. You’re welcome :)

Dan is one of my favorite business owners around and these days that means as much to me as the food. He gives back a TON to the community and I’m guessing second place struggles to see his brake lights. If you’re looking for a place to schedule an after game party this is the place to do it. Stop by in full uniform with a team of 10 or more (I believe) and receive 1-​large pepperoni and 1-​large cheese pizza. You may also have to purchase a drink for each player but heck you were going to do that anyway. Beyond this, Dan has done a lot more for the city by sponsoring the Rec. Departments «Team Sportsmanship» parties and opening up his restaurants for program fundraisers.
I know, I know, get to the food right? The garden special with pineapple, jalapeño and garlic on thin crust is one of my favorite pizzas of all time and the El Diablo Fuego is a close second. Their hot wings are top notch and they offer sandwiches, salads, potato wedges and more. One of my other favorites is the Veggie Calzone. Both local locations (Port Hueneme and El Rio) have arcade games on site for the kids and Dan also has two locations in Ventura if you happen to be heading that way.
The cost of the pizza is more on the high end but you get what you pay for here with a better tasting pizza and a place to sit and eat, versus the Papa John’s/Little Caesar’s minimalist strategy of low overhead, take-​out only offerings. As an added bonus, if you «like» Pizza Man Dan’s on Facebook you will always have a GOOD coupon to use and even a free pizza on your birthday!

This PizzaMan Dan’s location is newly opened (used to be an authentic Mexican place) and is phenomenal! The staff is courteous and the food was delicious! They even gave me a little extra side of pesto for no charge! I’ve yet to have PMD’s pizza that wasn’t good, but this was GREAT!
