I have been taking Jered to Oralia for his grooming for years now. He always looks great when he is done and he is never stressed — she just has that touch. I love the Paws-​n-​Style site — it is set up with play yards for the pets rather than cages and it always looks clean and well cared for. It is also in a great location to spend a few hours having lunch and a stroll along the canal while waiting for your pet, which is really good for me since I travel up from Thousand Oaks to have my dogs groomed here. I take my two dogs to this groomer. I like that their efficient with their services. They complete the works on my small dogs and it comes out to $ 52 per dog. Every time I get my dogs back, they are very well groomed and their nails are trimmed or ground down. I like coming here because the woman that runs the show is always so kind. I feel that she truly loves animals, which is important in a groomer for me. I would recommend you take your dog to them.

I would like to give 5 stars but I think they’re overpriced. I just moved here from Long Beach, CA. I was used to paying about $ 50 to have my golden retriever groomed. Today I took her to Paws n Style. They did a fantastic job. She’s so soft now and smells so good! They charged extra for grinding her nails and for trimming around her back end. These things were included in the past, but maybe in this area fees are different? But if you’re looking for a local groomer, they did a great job. It ended up to be $ 86 (with a meager tip included was $ 96). Yikes! Is that the going rate for the Ventura/​Oxnard area? If so, then I would give 5 stars!

I wasn’t going to update my review to let you all know about my most recent visit, because i dont like to bash a business. But after reading a heartbreaking article earlier about someone losing their pet (totally unrelated) i felt like i should be honest and mention my last visit. As my previous post stated, i have been over charged twice now for services i did not ask for. They were «upgrades» that for some reason were just done. Having been through that twice, when it happened the last time i got very upset and demanded the upgraded fees back, which the owner of this salon did without an issue. and i made it clear that i do not want anymore upgraded services on any future visits. However, being a pet parent, complaining obviously worried me because i knew at some point i would take my little pom back into this salon and feared any repercussions on her due to my complaints… unfortunately i feel like that’s what happened on her most recent visit, about a week ago. Now let me add, my dog is my life! So if she had any type of rash, cut or burn in an area as noticeable as her tummy (where there isnt and never has been any hair) i would certainly notice it! When i picked up my dog from her hair appointment i noticed a very large what looks to be razor burn on her poor little tummy, when i brought this to the owners attention she proceeded to lecture me on how it happened because my dogs hair had matting, and it can keep moisture trapped, blah blah, that doesn’t explain how she has a razor burn on her tummy? assuming the owner wouldn’t confess to accidentally nipping her, and not wanting any problems i paid for the services and left. Id also like to add that its been about a week now since i took my pup here, and she has had a cough (assuming kennel cough) since we brought her home, she did not have this before. I know this is common and could come from anywhere, but its an odd coincidence…
i will never return, i should have followed my instincts after complaining about being over charged and just gone elsewhere. were now on the hunt for a new groomer, only the best for my baby! and for us, this salon just isn’t it.

Oralia absolutely does this because she loves dogs. Saw my girl Gizmo, still a puppy and her first cut. She took extra time to get her used to the clippers and really showed how much she cares. Can’t thank or recommend her enough and will definitely be back.

Great job and reasonably priced! Have taken my little pup there twice now and am relatively pleased, however I feel like you have to be SUPER specific to make sure you get what you want. This last time I did not specify to trim his tail, and it wasn’t done, and his haircut on his head is a little uneven. Not a big deal, and a great deal; done quickly; and she’s super nice. Would recommend and will be back!

I just had my poodle Minnie groomed there and I was very very pleased. She looked beautiful. She’s my medical alert dog! I made a return visit appointment! I would recommend this shop to anybody. Thank you.

So happy I found this place today when I had the day off and my Maltipoo was in need of a beauty intervention. She was a mess! They went above and beyond to make me happy and most importantly my Maltipoo looked beautiful. I will definitely be bringing Scarlette back for another grooming appointment. Thank you so much for doing such a great job on my baby!!!

Best grooming my little Mikko, ShiTzu has every had. She lets know one get close to her nose to trim. Shannon the dog whisperer trimmed her nose! She smelled so good after the grooming and looked terrific. We are in Southern California for an extended vacation and I am definitely taking her back before we head back to NC.

Best grooming salon that I have found on this area– have had some pretty bad experiences with others. They are friendly, professional, flexible, and reasonable in cost. My little pup and I will be back again soon :)

So after losing a great groomer I had at a local groomer, I came across this AMAZING place. Oralia was able to take them in and I have to say I am VERY pleased with the attention, customer service and care my dogs received. She was able to quote me a fair price and talk with me about other options that would help my dogs in the long run. Thank you Ms. Oralia for going above and beyond to make sure my dogs look their best! I will DEFINITELY be returning.

This has been my best dog grooming experience yet, the owner is very thorough and meticulous, for a reasonable price. I also like the concept that the dogs are not caged in a small room but are able to roam about afterward, just an added bonus to excellent service

Love this groomer! Oralia is very sweet and aims to please. I am VERY pickey about how my dog is groomed. I dropped her off at 4, picked her up at 6. She was not put in a cage when she was finished, she was roaming free while another pooch very similar was being groomed. So happy this wonderful woman who love animals decided to become a groomer

The groomer/​owner went above and beyond the call of duty with my 10 year old bitchy Corgi Queenie. Queenie was a mess when I dropped her off. Too much time in the ocean, rolling in sand and messy poops. Oh and she nips if you touch her butt or back legs.
I dropped her off and the groomer told me she would call me when she was done in about 2 hours. After 4 hours I started to worry Queenie had taken the groomer hostage, so I went to see what was up. The groomer had taken such care and so much time with my dog I barely recognized her when I got there. She finished up by filing Queenie’s nails which required patience and finally a muzzle.
The price was so reasonable. The care and love of dogs (even an ornery one) was exceptional. I will be back!

Orelia is a very kind person who works well with dogs. She’s very professional and will make sure your dog is groomed right and is taken care of at her shop. She takes her time and does not rush the grooming process. I would recommend taking your dog to Orelia! My maltese Pearl does very well with her and I will continue taking her to Paws-​N-​Style.

I just came back from taking my pup Dolce from Paws-​N-​Style and I can’t even begin to describe the amazing experience! Oralia the owner is a sweetheart and really takes the time with each dog ensuring they are well taken care of and feel comfortable. I took him in at 9:30am and he was ready by 10:30am and can I say he looked just beautiful! I have tried a variety of different groomers in the area including Pet Co. when he has been in need of a quick trim and bath up until this point I had never seen my pup so happy. She has a medical background with animals and knows what she is talking about. Paws-​N-​Style will be my groomer from now on and I recommend everyone support this sweet lady and her independent business.

We usually groom my dog at home, outside, and she’s perfectly fine — no whining. We also air dry her coat.
My dog was recently infested with fleas (flea season!) And I wanted to take her to a groomers for a flea bath. It would be her first time. I waited there to see how she would do.
My dog HATED it. She barked and whined. Didn’t like the tub, didn’t like the blow dryer. Which was unfortunate because I loved this place and was fond of the owner.
When she got home, she would try to nip me in certain places, so I had to retrain her a little. I don’t think I can put her in an environment like this unless she’s flea-​infested again.

The owner is super awesome! Shes an animal lover, has convenient hours, convenient prices, and left my pitty smelling good and his coat is super shiny.
It was my dogs first time having a professional bath and he walked out of there feeling like s million bucks! I highly recommend this place =)

I called around 4pm and the owner said she was finishing up 2 dogs and had time to take mine in.
What: she groomed our 2 chihuahua sized dogs, bathed them, and grinded their nails for a total of $ 96.

Bottom line: id have no problem bringing my dogs here regularly for their grooming needs.
