O’Reilly Auto Part

It took me 2 minutes to get what i needed and went straight to the check out section. Anthony (shaved head with a beard and glasses) stared at me and didn’t acknowledge me or say anything. When he finally did so, he was very irritated at me for some reason. He called me over with a very abrasive condescending tone so I hesitated a little because it blindsided me. So I went to his register and he rung me up. I asked if there was a military discount for veterans and he asked for an ID. I showed him my military ID but he asked me for the last four of DOD # which I have never been asked before by any institution (even this particular store in the past). After he got the last four by looking at the back of my CAC card, he walks away from me without letting me know what was going on. He starts checking another customer out and completely leaves me confused. So I asked do you want me to pay? I have my card ready. Then he says I’ll be there when I get a password? So I tell him“‘when were you going to tell me you needed to get a password? you just left without letting me know what was going on”. Then he says «I don’t need to hold your hand. You were in the military, you know how to wait». So I said «if you hate your job so much, why don’t you just quit?». Then he says «you’re the one who came in here with a bad attitude». I know this was father’s day and this guy probably has issues working on father’s day but you make your own decision and are the master of your own fate. Disrespecting a customer, most likely because I was a Veteran, is crossing the line. QUIT YOUR JOB Anthony. Your co-​workers had to apologize to me on your behalf. You are a middle aged man who work in customer service and you are in the lowest tier of YOUR chosen proffesion. Please reflect on that. O’Reilly, review the videos and tighten up your customer service standards. As a U.S. Navy Veteran, I would rather relinquish my discount in a heartbeat in exchange for a decent customer service.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
I came into the store on a Saturday with my sister, looking to replace two of my back lights because they had been out for a while and I figured it’d be cheaper to get the bulbs at AutoZone rather than going to Lexus to get it working again.
Mind you, my sister and I were on our way to the beach so maybe we weren’t «appropriately» dressed for the store (flip-​flops, sundress, etc.), but for some reason, we received the RUDEST attitude from the woman who «helped» us. She straight up judged us like we were some ditsy little girls who didn’t know anything about cars.
She spoke to us very condescendingly, and when we went out to take a look at my car (because she didn’t believe me when I told her it was the TAILLIGHTS, not the BRAKE LIGHTS), she abruptly walked in and out of the door like we weren’t following her (as a HUMAN BEING, you should have the decency to hold open the door for anyone walking through a door behind you).
Then when we got back to the cash register to see if they had the proper bulbs in stock, she asked me what year and model was my «Toyota» and I responded with «.It’s actually a Lexus”– WE LITERALLY JUST LOOKED AT IT AND SHE GOT IT WRONG. You deal with cars, lady? You’re acting like I don’t know shit but then you look up the wrong car… pathetic.
One of the worst things to have happened during this experience was that after she went to the back to get the bulbs, she left me and my sister to WAIT while she attended to another customer at a different cash register. WTF – The other customer was in no rush or ANYTHING; She then had one of her coworkers help us with checkout because she was taking too long.
Okay, I am no car-​savvy person, so I was told that some AutoZones have employees that can help install parts, so my sister asked the coworker if she were able to install it for us. The coworker asked the other gal who was «helping» us before her if she could do it, and her answer of «I’m not doing it» was the most rude and uncalled for way to refuse the task.
I then replied with «I will look it up how to do it on YouTube» and that was the end of that.
When my sister and I walked out the door, the coworker said it would be easy and we «shouldn’t need a man to do it.»
PLEASE tell me how that ^^ is okay to treat customers? I’m ALL about feminism and trying to do things myself without a MAN, but everything said and done in that 20 minute experience was a lesson for me to never go back to this store. RUDE LADIES TO THE MAX.
My sister and I are educated women and we do not need to feel like we are incapable of «simple» things. We merely asked if it could be done and if not, that’s fine! But don’t act like a bitch. Plain and simple.
I originally did not want to send a review in, but now that I think about it, it was the most uncomfortable customer service experience of my life and I hope those two women realize that that’s not okay, and to take out whatever is up their asses that makes them think treating customers that way is okay. I wish I wrote down their names but I was so heated when I left the store, I couldn’t even think.
LADIES: YOU ARE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. IT IS YOUR JOB. FUCKING DO IT RIGHT.

The place an order for a specific part, the manager said that the part would be in on Wednesday /​3 days later. I called Wednesday evening since I had not received a call from them… shockingly the part was never ordered! Cmon guys tighten up your game. No wonder you have a bad Unilocal rating.

My husband and I stopped in here last night to buy brake pads/​drums for our car. We didn’t have to wait; a guy helped us right away. They only had half the parts we needed, but the man called their other store on Saviers and that store had our drums. We were able to pay for them at this store, but pick them up at the other store. I thought this was great — they went out of their way to make sure we got what we wanted without having to go to a competitor’s store. It did take some extra driving, but once we found out this location didn’t have drums we would have had to drive somewhere else anyway.
The store isn’t too big, but it’s clean and organized. Things are tidy and isles are fairly wide. Overall I’d return here in the future.

Super slow, understaffed. They also don’t have the selection the other autozones have.
