Thanks so much. Customer service was fantastic. They also opened at 7 am that was fabulous. I was the third person in line but had a quote in 5 minutes. I needed to replace a tire but I will return in 2 weeks to replace the other three.

Top notch service. Carlos was very upfront, very personable, and takes the time to explain everything that he charges for — and will even keep old parts to demonstrate why repairs were needed. I definitely believe other customers when they report that Carlos always makes things right and stands by his parts warranties.
He and his team @ Mario’s got my vehicle ready to pass smog and tuned up for what I hope will be a long period of ownership.

NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING! I have had my fair share of bad runs with Mechanics, but here at Marios they take care of their customers. Being a female, I never once felt out of my realm and Carlos went out of his way to make sure I knew what he was saying and made sure he identified each problem with my truck.

First time going to Marios Garage. Carlos helped me with some questions i had about my car and was very helpful. He told me all that my car needed. The main thing that impressed me was the quality of the service and the honesty. And i know his prices are really good because i got several. quotes before making a decision. If you want some honest recommendations i would say to come to marios garage. Keep in my i live in the valley and i drove all the way to Oxnard to go here since my friend told me how good they were. Five star service thanks Carlos.

Not trustworthy. Crook. Says he’ll cut you a deal then does just the opposite. After a huge job to fix something he refuses to take blame for a malfunction directly correlated to the «repairs» he did. Fuck this guy

Trustworthy is just one of the many words I would use to describe Mario’s Garage! Carlos is outstanding, personable and extremely knowledgable. I’d been getting regular oil changes at an unnamed chain garage until now. Needless to say, every time I got work done on my car, they always assured me that everything was «perfectly fine», even though behind the wheel I clearly knew something was wrong. After graciously doing a courtesy inspection, Carlos informed me my rotors and brake pads were bad as well as my brake fluid. A culmination of problems that occurred from previous «A-​Ok» work. He was able to fix my car in the same day, and made sure that I understood what formed these issues, how they were going to be fixed, quoted me at easily the best prices in town, and making my safety behind my wheel his top priority as well. Never talking down to me or speaking in «car language» to simply confuse and frustrate me like the previous place I had gone to. This is the best auto repair garage hands down and I have never felt safer behind the wheel of my own car after leaving a garage. Thank you Carlos!

Carlos walked up and introduced himself as I was waiting in his parking lot. From there it was nothing but excellent customer service. He explained everything after diagnosing my check engine light issue. The prices seemed rather reasonable. Since I was leaving my car for work he offered to drive me home. For a small shop this was very nice touch. I will be returning as needed for all my auto repairs.

I was looking for a place that did brakes for a reasonable price, but also wanted to get some feedback so I came here to Unilocal and found Mario’s Garage. I decided to come here after reading the reviews. We were kindly greeted by Carlos the owner. He proceeded to explain in detail what my car needed and knowledgeably answered our questions. The work was done professionally and the price was very fair. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience and have made another appointment to go back to have recommended service done. I feel very confident with Carlos and his mechanics and am glad I found a place I can bring my car to when needed. I highly recommend this place!

A Step Above The Rest!
From how neat and clean the mechanics keep the garage to how professional, informative, and friendly the front office crew is, Mario’s Garage, raises the bar when it comes to quality car care! I highly recommend you trust them.

We first used Mario’s Garage about 5 years ago, when the rear differential on my husband’s Dodge pickup went bad. We took it to the dealer who said it couldn’t be fixed, and a replacement would cost $ 6000. We took it to Mario’s for a second opinion. They were able to fix it instead of replace it, and the job was only $ 3000. We had been thinking about just replacing the truck instead, but now we’ve been able to continue driving it for years.
I was impressed with the organization and cleanliness of the garage. The proprietor, Carlos, took time to print out a mechanical drawing of the affected parts, pointing out what wasn’t working and what needed fixing. This is standard procedure every time we take our car in for something. I like being educated and treated with respect, as they always do.
In addition, when I went to pick up the truck, it had been cleaned, including a steam cleaning under the hood! Talk about customer service.
I highly recommend Mario’s Garage. They are trustworthy, respectful, and they really know their stuff. They are always working on keeping up with the latest technology. We drive from Ventura down to south Oxnard to see them, especially if we think the repair will be a tricky one.
You can’t expect to have your car cleaned every time (it can depend on their workload on that day), but you can certainly expect expertise and top-​notch service here.

This garage was highly recommended by a friend of my husband’s. He brought my 98 Jetta in for a list of repair work that was much needed. They are true professionals and honest in their assessment of work required and or needed. He was impressed with their knowledge and I am impressed with the fact that my car runs like it did when I first purchased it! My car still needs more work done, but I will be going back to get everything completed. Reasonably priced and fast work, thank you for making car repair less stressful!
