He gave me an estimate to replace the clutch, timing belt and do the front brakes. Then after the car was in the shop he raised the price by almost a third. When the car came back, there was a grinding noise when the car was started. He claimed the noise had always been there;
I had NEVER heard that noise. He then said I needed a new starter. A new starter made no difference. I took the car to to three other mechanics: all said that the flywheel was not engaging properly with the starter. One measured the voltage the battery was charging when starting the car and it is 600 amps, instead of 200 amps normally. Because the starter is drawing on the battery to overcome the bad flywheel connection. He denied this completely.
It was hard to get the facts as he does not list parts by the part number or manufacturer, so I do not know what clutch he actually put in. Now after the 7500 mi warranty is over, the clutch is slipping badly in first gear. I have had several cars with manual transmission and have never had a clutch problem with low mileage. I have had to wholesale the car out, after having spent $ 2750.00 on repairs just 8500 mi. ago. He makes up stories as he goes along, and I believe he was in way over his head with this car. He also admitted that he had had to stay up past midnight to finish the work — he did not answer the phone when the car was due to be finished and was not. He response to my complaints was to start yelling denials. Use at your own risk!

Been goin hear for years. Always great and fast service excellent prices. He’s worked on my ’89 Nissan 240sx, ’94 Acura Integra, and my ’04 Chevy Silverado. Always knows what he’s doin. I’ll b back next time I have any automotive problems. Thanks Ari.

At first we thought he was good, but after the initial time we took our vehicles in he would always spike the charges up. Say one price then call and say he found something else wrong. Last straw was when our engine went out and he stated 1250 $ for a rebuild next thing he calls and says it can’t be rebuilt and says $ 2000, we say no way go to get our truck n he’s charging us a tear down charge we never agreed to. So in order for us to get our truck out we had to give him 360 $ and it was never put back together cause he said that would be another $ 360. Which later I found out that was absolutely illegal and against the bureau of automotive repairs guidelines. We took our truck to another mechanic and had the same engine rebuilt for half of what he was charging. His invoices are not done up to code either. We now have a lawsuit against him for this unethical practice he’s doing.
He also repaired our suburban from the check engine light $ 800 later we pass smog and engine light came back on and still on till now.
He also repaired our sons car and his partner there left a small wrench in the gasket area of the car he drove it all the way to Washington with a clink only to take it up there to chevron to find the missing tool.

I had taken my car to get a oil change an get the engine looked at. it was in the afternoon i picked it up just before they closed. when i get home i see i am now smoking from burning oil. I can there # which is his cell phone an set up an appointment. he calls an tells me i need a new head gasket. when they took my head off they striped the the valve cover an then tried to lie about it an said that the way i brought it in. this was argued for a 3 – 5 mins then he put on a show to pretend to talk to the guy that really worked on my car. which was news to me because hes the one that went to school not this hire hand from who knows where. then once i pulled out pictures with the time stamp he re did the head gasket while i watched him. only to have the issue not fixed. he then trys to tell me i need to do a rebuild on the whole engine going to be like $ 2000-​$ 2200…
Keep in mind i went to get an oil change with nothing wrong going into this place…
So i used My AAA an had my car towed to another garage an they found a my oil return line had been not hooked back up or had been disconnected…
took them 20 mins to fix what they could not an saved me from getting ripped off by this shady crook for $ 2k

Had my oil change done here a few times fast and reasonable prices def worth the stop
