Established in 2000.

Chef and Owner Martin Ledesma, Has over 25 years in the restaurant and catering business. Former Executive Chef from UCSB Faculty Club; Chef at Ojai Valley Inn; Chef at Wine Cask Catering of Santa Barbara; and Sous Chef at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara. Martin decided to venture on his own and opened Chili Peppers Restaurant in 2008. Chef Martin Ledesma experience in local top restaurants has giving him the capability to offer, not only high quality, but wonderful gourmet menus.

I’ve used CP CATERING for a few work related and personal events, they are simply great! The entire experience every time was smooth and pleasant. The food was perfect, the entire event including all the little details that others will oversee Martin and Lupe made sure they had it all covered, they also have a wonderful staff. I will continue to use them and highly recommend CP CATERING!

We used CP catering for our wedding in September 2014. CP catering is a very well orchestrated team of hard working /​respectful individuals. They (Lupe & Martin) treated us like family. Their team was able to deliver a high quality service to our +175 guests. They were on time, precise, adaptable, all interwoven with a «we’ll do what it takes to make you happpy» attitude.
In short, they provided us with great food at a very competitive price. We highly recommend them and plan to use them for our future events.

They were TERRIBLE & FLAKY with communication from day 1. Martin NEVER answered our phone calls or texts after we met. We met one time to discuss a menu for our wedding reception. He was really nice, and we were excited to hear back on menu ideas & get a quote. We met in early December of 2014 he promised a menu after the 19th. We never received it or heard anything from him AT ALL. We called in January, letting him know we are still interested, he said he’s really busy & to call him if we didn’t hear back from the weekend. We never heard back. I called, and again he didn’t answer and I never heard back… again. He’s a serious FLAKE and extremely unprofessional. No matter how busy you are, it takes one minute to send a text, e-​mail, or phone call to say, that you need more time or at least give an update. I guess it’s a blessing in disguise, how can you trust someone to cater or show-​up for your event if they can’t return a phone call?

I got married August 11,2013 and Events by CP catering did absolutely amazing! They helped with the entire planning process along the way and during the wedding they didn’t present me (the bride) with any problems! They figure it out. Martin and Lupe are very helpful and if have them for any event you will be very happy in the end! I wanted simple dinner options but he offered many different menus and didn’t just give me a small selection!
