History

Established in 2005.

While I worked for over 15 years for Ventura County Superior Court I observed how many DUI’s occurred in this county alone. It was mind boggling… I decided to start my own limousine service in hopes to give

back to the community and to also prevent the DUI’s while allowing people to enjoy themselves out celebrating their special occasions. In all of my careers I have always taken great pride in what I do and especially enjoyed working with a variety of people. I had decided about 10 years ago to start my own limousine service so when I did actually decide to do I found it to be quite a rewarding challenge. I retired from the State of California Superior Court of Ventura County to pursue this long time goal. I now have been servicing Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles Counties and have a California statewide permit to provide transportation to the airports and other venues. I have established this service and have acquired a very reputable relationship with my clients and local restaurants, hotels, clubs, concert halls, etc… This is my passion to provide luxurious and safe transportation for all special occasions…

Sorry about your experience, Audrey. I have to admit that I wasn’t surprised to read your a review after my experience on the road with what I would imagine to be Tim this afternoon.
The man is certifiably insane and a menace to society. No joke.
I first saw him in zoom up into my rear view mirror after he cut of a service van exiting the 10 freeway. He proceeded to straddle the middle lane, in heavy stop and go traffic, pushing his way ahead one cut off car at a time.
I was, however, less accommodating (and more aware) than others and was reluctant to let him in. I suspect he didn’t like that since he pulled up next to me, cursed at me like a mad man and ultimately threatened to get out. It didn’t seem worth humiliating his old fat ass publicly so I just smiled.
Since he so brilliantly advertises
on his bumper, I called hoping that someone sane would answer the phone and be grateful to know they have a maniac representing their company. Well, I was wrong. It was him. He promptly told me to «…shove the phone up my ass.»

I have traveled the world over and never once have I felt so mistreated and quite frankly abused by a service provider. Abteys limo services were late to arrive, the vehicles were in poor condition (had to replace one of the two cars ordered, continually changed, charged, and rotated car batteries), did not have sufficient fuelling (they stopped twice and asked guests to front gas money). The staff wore casual attire, were rude, confrontational, threatening, and discriminatory. Our party called the police when they refused to complete their contracted services and they were then directed by the police to do so. Additional un-​necessary stops were made and we were basically held captive in a limousine 3 hours longer than agreed. During this extended time we were continually yelled at by one of the two drivers. Due to malfunctioning vehicles our party of 14 adults were asked to get into one limo that seats 10 and we were then schlepped from one part of the city to the other outside of our requested rout, making additional stops for food (for employees — not guests) and the dropping off of one of the malfunctioning limos. Despite police orders, they did not complete their contracted services and our party was forced to call a taxi to take us to our original point of departure.

It upsets me to even give these people one star but I guess Unilocal doesn’t allow zero stars. We rented this limo for my friend’s 30th birthday to tour the wineries in Santa Barbara. We booked 2 limos well in advance and were able to get 16 girls from LA to SB for our 11 am pick up. That didn’t matter because the limo was over an hour late and they sent only one limo so we had to wait an additional hour for the second limo. Little did we know… this was only the beginning. The limos ran out of gas, broke down twice and were beyond ghetto inside. Aside from the disheveled autos we had to deal with the Verbally Abusive Tim who appeared drunk at times when he was threatening to leave us stranded in the middle of wine country. His abusive behavior escalated to the point that onlookers began to stare and we were forced to call the police. Even after the police intervened, the limo drivers decided to take their time stopping three times along our 40 mile treck back to where we were staying which ended up taking almost 3 hours. The evening ended when we were dropped at a mall and forced to PAY for cabs to take us the rest of the way home.
I never leave reviews but this experience was so horrific that I felt compelled to make sure no one else ever suffers through the type of day we had. Pleas heed my warning… use another limo company, drive, bike or even walk before you use Abtey’s Limousine Services.

I am surprised that I got home alive. The owner Tim clearly has some anger management issues and threatened more than once to leave us in the middle of nowhere, and this is on top of being 1 hour and 45 minutes late! Not only that they made several stop to repair the janky limos and even had the audacity to ask us to front them money for gas. We missed 2 wine tasting appointments, dinner reservations and only made it to 2 vineyards. Guess there were too many personal stops for Abtey’s Limo service to make on the way for them to service their clients.
In addition, Tim used MANY bigoted words to describe our group of lovely ladies when he didn’t think we could hear him. We ended up calling the cops on him, who sided with us. Even after the cops told us him to take us home or refund our money, he stopped to drop off a car a Chumash, get tacos and then refused to take us up the hill to our house. Took us 3 hours to get from wine country back home. We had to take another cab service home. Tim threatened to call to call the police on me for eating a turkey sandwich in the limo on the pretense of «disorderly» conduct.
His business partner Christine was nice enough at first, but then ended up siding with him after he was blatantly verbally abusive with her. Not surprised though since he did threaten to throw us out of the limo a half a dozen times (forgot to mention after the first limo broke down all 15 of us crammed into one limo).
We will be contacting the better business bureau in Oxnard and are looking into any legal ramifications we can take. We had a great wine tasting trip planned for a friends birthday and this was the one terrible horrible point. Wish I could give negative stars.
I felt like a victim of domestic violence after this ride. If we were a carful of men this would have never happened.
